Stayed here while visiting Syracuse university with my child. Front desk was very helpful with dining suggestions and directions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice bathrooms too. Breakfast was a nice perk. A good basic buffet was offered. Compared to other hotel prices in the area I felt it was a great place to stay and affordable as well.

Everything is good. but Person who worked at front desk was not professional. There was not fan in the restroom. You can image, after you do big one, a lot of smell is around your room.

room not vacumned, garbage not emptied. i called the front desk at 10pm and told them. they said they would have someone come empty our garbage. i told them no, i would put it in the hall. the garbage was still there the next morning at 8am when we went for breakfast.

We stayed for one night during my son's parent weekend for college. The hotel was quiet and clean. We did see a pair of little boy underwear behind the dresser, though, that had not been picked up.

As availability nearer to campus was at a premium, beggers can't be choosers. However, the room smelled musty, the coffee was weak and the breakfast was only fair.

The breakfast included in our stay was very good. Lots of choices, from cereal, to hard boiled eggs, to omelets, to pancakes, yogurt and more! The cinnamon buns were right out of the oven and delicious!

Very clean facility, great location; close to airport. Gym facility is not the greatest but nice discount to Gold's Gym down the road. The next time I'm in the area, that's where I'll stay.

The hotel itself was clean and well kept. The only gripes I have are personal ones, so they may not apply to others. The beds were very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The air conditioning unit did not have the function to allow the fan to run continuously, which meant that it would switch on and off all night long. There was also no fan in the […] bathroom. The hotel is good and clean. The location is convenience and there are some shopping plaza around. But only the shower curtain had some bad smell on the first day when we arrived. Once we asked the housekeeper changed the new one, the smell was disappear. It is good hotel overall .

In comparison to other hotels in the area, this was one of the least expensive so we were not sure what we would find. It appears very new and has the feel of a nice business hotel, although there was a pretty good continental breakfast included (which many business hotels don't offer). The hotel is located in an enterprise zone it seems with virtually nothing nearby--Home Depot. No restaurant in the hotel and nothing within reasonable walking distance. Comfortable-yes; convenient-no.

The hotel was quiet, clean. Queen beds very comfortable. Plug near headboard for C-PAP machine. TV had good reception including HBO. Heat and air easy to set and operate. Window opens for fresh air. Pool is clean and water warm. Breakfast bar superb...lots of choices, healthy and otherwise. Food hot and fresh and replenished frequently: eggs, sausage […] gravy and bisquites, breads, cinnamon rolls, bagels, juices, coffee/tea, milk, yogurt and plenty of fruit available. Staff curteous and friendly. Ice machines and vending on each floor and they actually work. Plenty of hot water, towels lush, bathroom sparkling clean. Surrounding local area around hotel are businesses...many restaurants and shopping and gas stations. Easy on/off access to major routes. Great Stay!!! Read more

The hotel was very nice, very clean and the staff was polite. The pool isn't any where near as big as the photos suggest though, it's quite small. Also, the bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but that's personal opinion only.

Solid Hotel... One issue.. There was a burnt 'skunky' odor in the room. I didnt report it cause I don't think there's anything they can do about it. It wasnt unbearable, just noticable.. Breakfast good and good location. Would stay again.

this is a very nice, clean hotel w/ friendly and helpful staff. we would definitely stay there again! we needed milk for a baby bottle at midnight, and the man at the front desk happily went and got it for us. The girl who "stocked" the breakfast buffet was also friendly and cheerful. The buffet was very well stocked w/ fresh food!!

Hotel was clean and quiet. Location was great for our purposes, although these is nothing to close enough t walk to there are many restaurants, shopping, etc nearby. My only complaint is that the heater/AV unit was loud, even on low setting.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after carefully reviewing all the comments made about the hotels at Carrier Circle and boy, are we glad we did! The room was spotless, the mattress ultra comfortable and the service was impeccable. We spent some time in the pool that was warmed to just the right temperature and I noticed that all that evening, and […] the next day, my joints didn't ache! It was a very short drive to numerous restaurants along Erie Blvd and the icing on the cake was the mouth watering breakfast that awaited us the next morning, before our long drive back to Buffalo. There were muffins, bagels, raisin, wheat and white toast, mini Spanish omelets, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa as well as several varieties of dry cereal and oatmeal. And don't forget those awesome sweet rolls! I know it sounds like a commercial, but I made the right choice in staying there and I will most definately make this my hotel of choice when I come back for my 40th high school reunion next summer! I think this is a very good hotel for the money. The location is good for all points central ny. My only complaint is there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room. If you are there for an extended stay just be aware of this and you can make do.
