Bali Agung Village is a well located, relatively inexpensive hotel. It's close to shopping in Seminyak, yet on a quiet back street (which is very important these days). Short walk to Kuta beach. Bali Agung is a nice, quaint hotel with friendly staff. I love the architecture of the place and food is good, too. It is, however, a bit far from the main area of Seminyak.If you are looking for a hotel that is near the beach and the shops, this is not the best area. Other than this, the place is great.

I don't recomend the hotel at all. First the location, It's close to the main street but to get there it's very day and when it rains gets worse, no pav at all. My mum had 2 motobikes surounding her to try to get her bag, very dangerous because it's quite and dark. We arrived there and the towels and sheets were dirty =(. The Hotel was OKAY, it was a good location but walking back to hotel at late night scared me as it was in a dark shady lane. Breaky was pretty standard, rooms were also standard. Rooms did not have iron or hair dryer, and air con was very slow. You get what you pay for. So for a cheap price it was okay! I may not go back to same place...

Hotel was good. Room was clean and tidy, not many storage places though. Pool was nice to sit by and was very quiet but close to shops/restaurants. Only bad experience was the AUS plug adapter in the room frying my hairdryer so it doesn't work anymore :( Breakfast was pretty standard.

Bali Agung is a neat, friendly, budget hotel secluded from the main road. It represents good value for money. Some previous less complimentary reviews seem to forget this is a 3 star hotel. If you want more creature comforts, then there are other 4 or 5 star hotels around the area. I used the hotel as a base for exploring the area and I can understand that some people may have an issue walking 200m down poorly lit sidestreets to get to the hotel, but I never had any issue with this. My wife and I stayed at this hotel in June 2011. Firstly the bad - The plumbing is terrible and the bathroon stunk! After feeling sick the first night I found that the grill over the shower drain has a rubber plug and when this was fitted it stopped a lot of the smell coming through. OK now the good points. The hotel did not come up to my expectations or my friends staying in the Villas. My villa was at the rear of the complex next to a field full of frogs who decided to keep me a wake every night. There was no kettle for making hot drinks in the room, iron or hairdryer. The buildings require a lot of maintenance although the gardens are kept to a high […] standard. Breakfast was not the best, how many ways can you cook eggs, no variety of bread just white bread and the fruit seemed to be left over from the day before. Luckily I took my own herb tea and just requested hot water with only tea, coffee or juice available. To walk from the villa to the road or beach you had to walk down a dark lane which was full of holes and uneven gravel - not recommended for a single lady, elderly or children. Absolutely perfect hotel! Like a little village in a rainforest. Balinese style but has all modern facilities including "rain" shower, big flat tv, really powerful aircon and super fast FREE wifi at all areas, including rooms! Extremely clean and well maintained. Perfekt ställe som vi utnyttjade på vår gratisnatt. Blev dessutom uppgraderade till delux och kan bara säga att vi gärna lagt de pengarna på det rummet om vi åker tillbaks. Trevlig personal, fina rum och rent och snyggt. Ganska små portioner men god mat. Låg en bit ifrån allt vilket är både bra pch dåligt :)

Hotellet låg väldigt nära båda strand och bargata i Seminyak. Men ändå låg det väldigt avskiljt. Det var mycket positivt. Gav verkligen en känsla av att vara långt borta från allt. Bra stället, jag skulle bo där igen om läge uppstod.

Man var tvungen att använda duschtvålen i duschkabinen och duschhanddukarna efter ett toalettbesök. Vi frågade efter handtvål och små handdukar, men de sa att de inte hade det. Och som på ett antal andra ställen på Bali verkar inte dörrar vara deras starka sida då de var ganska skeva vilket gör att det blir rätt lyhört. Vi blev tvungna att be om ett nytt rum direkt vid ankomst, eftersom det inte gick att stänga rummets ytterdörr ordentligt. Nästa rum hade i princip samma problem så vi insåg då att det inte gick att få bättre dörrar än så på hotellet. Det var alltid en […] glipa, som släppte in insekter och ljud. Personalen var hjälpsamma och trevliga. De hjälpte oss i att ringa inrikes telefonsamtal samt ordna bokning av båtbiljetter och transport, samt "breakfast to go" när vi behövde åka så tidigt på morgonen att den riktiga frukosten ännu inte hunnit öppna.
