Hotel was exactly what I expected for the money paid. Nothing special but was modern and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast could of been better, would rather wait 5 and have it all cooked fresh. Would go back and stay though.

Stayed for one night as up for a family party and this location was good for the event. Room was a bit tired and rough around the edges but for ok just for one night - compared to other hotels a this price point I feel it was over priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The service was externally good. U must try the food it's home made really nicely presented on the plate. The only down fall is u have to eat at the bar. Other than that fantastic stay I would recommend it and I would Defo stay there again. The breakfast was exelant plenty of choice and again all fresh really nice

Very friendly and helpful staff, we stayed in toon after the Michael McIntyre concert at the metro radio arena, the guy at the hotel sorted us a taxi, we could come in after hours if we wished (which we did) . Cracking breakfast, if a bit early (half eight till half nine on a Sunday?). Set us up for the day, would stay there again. Thank you.

Arrived after flooding in Newcastle to find no hot water available as boiler cellar flooded. Manager offered tro try to find alternative accommodation or give us free meal and drinks. Promised hot water would be available next day. We stayed, hot water was available next day but was again not available on our last morning. Also some noise from rooms […] occupied by hotel staff - should know better! Rooms were adequate and clean although bar and restaurant area a bit dark and drab. Management tried to be as helpful as possible - forwarded me phone charger I had left in room - but overall a disappointing stay. However breakfast was good and in general stay was also good value and probably reflected other reviews. Read more

The hotel was in a good position for the main shopping area, but did take over 25 minutes to walk. Bus better option as parking was between £2.50 - £5.00 . Hotel staff very friendly. Wouldn't say rooms were luxury, but adequate for the purpose of the stay.

Great value, clean, comfy. Breakfast good and they made extra sausages for our dog. We stayed on a bank holiday Sunday, hotel and area VERY noisy and busy! Be aware!

Locations is excelent. Room was better then we expected (4 poster bed). Alittle noisey due to being above the bar but didnt mind at all. Overall i would recommend.

Dåligtt underlåll av även mindre saker som; saknar handdukshållare trots många skruvhål i väggen, spegen borta från badrummet och fönstret gick inte att sänga = mycket kallt i rummet när det är minusgrader ute trots full värme på elementet, lamor trastiga bytes inte efter tillsägelse. Rum mot gatan innebär mycket störande ljud.
