The hotel was very clean and new. For our purpose, the hotel was located very conveniently. The outdoor hot tub and pool were nice and did not seem to be used much. All hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. We would have liked a lock on the bathroom door. That was weird. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was quite friendly and even handed us bottled water before we started our morning walk. The room had a wonderful view of Port Charlotte Harbor and the marina.

The location is what drew us here in the first place. Downtown Punta Gorda is a great weekend getaway for us...great restaurants, lots of activity, entertainment. This hotel in on the river and has a great Tiki Bar. There is a river walk along the river for several blocks and Fishermen's Village is only a short distance away (we walk it - about 3/4 […] of a mile). The only thing we would like different is refrigerators in the room. Overall, great value for the money. Will definitely stay again. Read more

We were completely satisfied with our stay at FourPoints Punta Gorda. The room was exceptionally clean, the decorations and furnishings functional and pleasing, the staff courteous, friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again and recomment it to friends.

The room was very open and airy. The room was of good size, clean and comfortable. The only con of the stay was the noise level. The walls are "thin" and the AC is kind of loud. The location was great and you really don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to. They have everything you need right there! We were in the area because of an out-patient […] procedure needed at a nearby hospital. We had some special needs and the staff was GREAT in making sure we were well taken care of! I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte area. Read more

I loved this hotel! The staff was wonderful at everything, always had a genuine smile. The room was very well laid out and efficient, made me feel like I had a much bigger room than it was.The eco friendly features were nice but not obtrusive to my comfort. The dining was outstanding, I was so happy to have the option of qualtiy dining without leaving […] the hotel. Every dish I tried was inventive and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The waitstaff was very attentive. I was very impressed one morning when 5 minutes to closing breakfast, a family of 11 came to be seated, were very demanding, and the staff handled the situation with grace and outstanding service. We stayed one night and our room was lovely and quite comfortable. The decor was delightful. The cleanliness was good; however, I did find a hair on the floor in the bathroom. Perhaps the housekeeper needs to have her eyes checked. I know I, myself, need to use my reading glasses now whenever I clean my own home because I'll miss something if I don't. […] I was disappointed that we didn't have a view of the harbor, but there are only a few rooms that do. We had dinner in the restaurant. $18 for steak that was just OK. We opted to find a restaurant outside of the hotel for breakfast as they charge $8 for a continental breakfast and I don't eat bagels. We did enjoy the harbor walk and sat on the tailgate of our truck in the hotel parking lot to watch the sunset, which was lovely. We would return. Read more

The style of the hotel was very nice the staff that I encountered we're all very friendly and helpful. The tiki bar out back was very reasonably peoced and turned out to be a great place to watch fireworks on the fourth of july. Very clean and comfortable room and a great value.

The Four Points is a beautiful place! I live locally and decided to spend a quiet time in Punta Gorda. The room was very clean, comfortable. Modern, nice, clean, comfortable, great service, and close to very nice restaurants. Located by the river with a beautifully landscaped walking trail along its border, where we got to enjoy watching the sunset. Not a thing to complain about it.

We paid a few dollars extra per night for a river view room and it was more like a highway view, so not worth spending extra. Otherwise everything was enjoyable. Room was very clean. Enjoyed the pool. The fresh cookies in the lobby every evening made our 5 year old a very happy guest!

We arrived in between Florida downpours at dinner time. Restaurants were within walking distance and the front desk staff offered us the loan of a large umbrella. We had a great meal and came back to our clean room, comfortable bed and great pillows Our room was.very modern and bright with a windowseat and ample place for everything. We came to Four Points Sheraton to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony was like a postcard. Loved the Tiki Bar! We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

The hotel was nice but I was surprised that guests were not treated to a FREE continental breakfast - to be asked to pay eight dollars for a box of cereal, a container of yogurt and a few danish is outrageous.

The bedding is terrific and it’s the most notable feature of the room for sure! We wanted to stay longer to get to know the town a bit better (it is a gorgeous one!) and certainly wish we could’ve changed our schedule to do so. We do plan to return, however, and this will be our hotel of choice!!! Very lovely location and conducive to walking and discovering […] the area. We might simply suggest adding mini fridges and microwaves to the rooms....most other hotels provide them at no additional charge and they are appreciated by the guest. Read more

Close to quality restaurants. A block party was next door, we heard about after arrival, a must see for next year. The surrounding area of the hotel was great for walking or just hanging out at the tiki bar on the water. This is a newer location with lots of amenities . I have found a new place when visiting Punta Gourda.

When I decided to stay at the Shearton I was not aware of some 'extra' charges-had to pay extra for a refrigerator-for what I paid for the room I would have thought that was included!! and no microwave either! Every hotel I've ever stayed at has both and you don't have to pay extra for them. First and last stay at a Shearton.
