Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"very clean and modern with a very comfortable bed"
We just stayed one night and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the US border and other people's reviews. The room was clean and comfortable and the furnishings were modern and in as new condition.We both loved the king sized bed. There was free internet and something I've never seen in another hotel, was a plug on the base of the bedside […] table so you could plug it in.I've always found it hard to find an available plug for my laptop that's in a conveniant place. I love this hotel, its a brand new Hotel and the area is pretty nice. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This was a great brand new hotel. Definitely try to breakfast next door, just make sure to get the breakfast coupons.
"Nice hotel, good location"
The hotel was in great shape and a nice place to stay for a couple nights. Most of my meetings were on the other side of the river, so their was a lot of traffic for the commute. Other than that the hotel was nice, the neighboorhood was good and I would stay here again.
"New and nice BUT"
The rooms are nice inthis new property. BUT, they lack many of the amenities that are found in most hotels. The room had no refrigerator or even a coffee maker. The wick was useless. The staff were bland and seemed incompetent. Also no included breakfast and the expensive restaurant breakfast was marginal and not worth the price.
"OK to stay here"
I chose this hotel because it was said to be clean and it was the most economical choice of the hotels that were reasonably rated. It was ok. My wife said that the pillows smelled strongly of body odor; I did not notice this but I am solely a side-sleeper and she is not. The room was free of bugs. The hotel is fairly isolated.

Had a great stay at this hotel very clean,quite and comfortable slight distance (30km) from downtown Vancouver but was in good neighborhood.The staff were great, good indoor pool and gym facility lovely Resturant.

"...lackluster"
The outside and the lobby are nice and well kept, the staff are fairly friendly but the room was not that great....the curtains wouldnt shut so we were up when the sun came up. I went to the bathroom as soon as we checked in and there was a big, long black hair in my sink, when I went for a bath there was another black hair and when we went to bed there […] were black hairs in our bed...the bathroom lights flickered on and off...i checked out early just because I couldnt stand to be in that hotel any longer. "Staying in Cloverdale"
We had an event in Cloverdale and rather than taxi home, we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn. Inexpensive and very nice. Hotel staff were wonderful and room was clean and bed great. If you need to stay in Cloverdale you can not go wrong here.

"Enjoyable experience"
This hotel is clean, spacious, modern and the beds were very comfortable as were the pilllows. It's great that they have a restaurant attached, the food was good but a tad expensive. Except for outside noise, the hotel itself was quiet. I would go back again and again..

"Great weekend stay!"
Highly recommend a stay at this Holiday Inn! The staff are very accomidating and friendly. The hotel looks almost brand new, rooms have modern decor and as a bonus if you forget any essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste, razor ect they will supply you with one free of charge. Walls aren't paper thin like most hotel rooms. The hotel is situated in a […] very convienient location, just off a main street in a very newly developed area. "Holiday Inn & Suites Surrey-great room, great food"
Everything from check-in to room service was fab! The staff were friendly, our room service was very fast-less than 15 min. after ordering, and the room was clean, modern and quite. Would stay there again for sure, and if in the area again, would go back to their restaurant-the food was great!

"Surrey Hotel"
In Surrey ,it was a perfect location for us. We were going to a wedding and the hotel was a great location for us. It is cose to various things/places we needed. Handy to the amenities of the city. Lovely pool. Wished we had more time there.

The Hotel was great the rooms are extreamly clean and large I was plesently suppirsed on the size of the rooms that we had. The Hotel was able to get us adjoing rooms and that helped because we have had to be split up on different floors or opposite ends of the hotel before and that is never nice and enjoyable.The rooms are so large 5 kids and two adults […] did not have to step on each other and that makes my day. The hotels has everything you need Ice on every floor resturant attached a pool it was perfect,here is the best value part we took the kids for breakfast and all the kids that were under 12 ate for free now that is a great savings when you travel in a large group and well that is our family a large group. Dinner and breakfast are covered for the kids you can not beat that value. I would not have considered this a value hotel though the interior and the rooms go beyond what you would expect.
