Terrific and helpful staff with excellent breakfast. Location far from subway and busses but easy cab rides which are relatively cheap. We only had one short night due to airline delay but were able to leave bags and hangout in a welcoming atmosphere.

no window or air in the room. The staff lied about getting air in the room. Not once, but twice, by two different people. This is something they must do all the time. Asked for quiet room; it was next to breakfast nook; very loud. Internet was spotty and then went out completely. Neighborhood seedy and down at heels.

The tariff was very reasonable and on arrival we were instantly impressed with the gorgeous turn of the century building, and tastefully decorated interior. The hotel has a couple of courtyards and lots of natural light. The rooms are decorated in vintage styke and […] evokes an early 20th century era in Buenos Aires. despite being 'old fashioned' style, teh room had all modern amenities, flat screen TV, lovely bathroom and excellent free WIFI. IT was quiet at night and slept well. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast and espresso coffee and then were mad to feel very welcome as we took over a table in the dining room for a few hours to do work. a late check out was no issue and i can't speak highly enough of the service and pleasantness of all the different staff we encountered. This is a very charming looking hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. The superior room we stayed in, though small by american standards, was perfectly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also adequate. Breakfast was included with our rate and was good. It was about a 10 minute walk to the heart of the boutiques and tons of restaurants, […] but there were also many restaurants to choose from in the immediately surrounding blocks. If this was the end of the story, i'd highly recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately though, there is one issue that to me is a deal breaker - the walls are so thin you can literally hear everything happening in every room. Snoring from the room above, conversations next door, bathroom usage, etc. We stayed 6 nights and only slept well once due to people coming in late, conversing late, etc. I had read such great reviews, so we were quite disappointed that this was the case. Wonderful little hotel. Very nicely done and excellent service. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is that because it is small, you have to have the staff unlock the front door for you to enter, but I think that is standard for smaller places in Buenos Aires.

The Krista Boutique Hotel is beyond great... everything about our stay was wonderful and both of us believed that it was one of our best overall hotel experiences ever. First, the Krista is in an amazing part of town. Palermo Soho is central to many sights, boutiques, restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. Extremely young and energetic and artsy. Second, the […] overall decor of the hotel is NYC meets Paris Boho - B&B chic. Gorgeous courtyards are filled with with beautiful leather sofas, bookshelves and bowls of fresh fruit that you can snack on when reading selections of your favorite travel book to plan your day. The breakfast area reminds me of a living room in a classic Parisian flat with large windows that look out onto the bustling street. Gorgeous painted/stained glass windows that separate the first of two courtyards from the lobby are worth a photo themselves. There are only a handful of rooms here and each one is well kept with: a thoroughly updated bathroom, flatscreen televisions, large beds, nice sheets, standard dresser and drawer arrangements, and alarm clocks/stereos where you can dock and charge your iPod if need be. It's gorgeous!!! Third, the STAFF HERE IS TREMENDOUS. Alex in particular is amazing. Our flight coming into town was delayed and by the time we got to Buenos Aires all of the cabs were delayed by two hours. We weren't going to be able to get into town until after 12:00am and we were freaked out because we didn't know the area or whether they would cancel our reservations or what...we were stressed. We called the Krista and a cab was sent to get us and Alex personally waited for us by the door to help us out when we got into town. He even offered to make us some tea to calm us down. Most of the staff is fluent in English and, even when they sometimes don't understand you, they go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care off. This is a lovely elegant hotel with fantastic staff. As soon as you walk through the front door you feel all the stress lifted. Leisurely breakfasts which is served till 11.00 and then some. Coffee available anytime. Free wi-fi and loads of help with arranging excursions. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. We were initially booked into a standard room but it was quite small with an ugly view of roofs from the window, and we needed to re-pack our bags etc so we paid a bit more for a superior room which was bigger and a bit nicer, with a door to the courtyard on the bottom floor so no stairs either. I was probably […] expecting a few more luxe comforts, but these are probably found in the deluxe rooms, so if you want to feel a bit more pampered in your room I would book one of those. This is a wonderful gem of a hotel in Palermo Hollywood, an oasis of calm and tranquility where the attention to detail is obvious throughout. The staff are extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, the beds are huge with high quality mattresses and the linen soft and crisp. There are many nice restaurants in the nearby, ask the staff to recomend a good restaurant, and do not miss the one we were recomended, Las Cabras, in the corner of Fitz Roy/El Salvador. Went there twice […] and the food and wine were excellent, as was the service, even though it was very busy. Dont come too late, as it gets very busy around 9-ish, and you might have to wait to get a table. I would recomend Hotel Krista to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, and I would very much like to stay here again. Read more

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel - everything is perfect if you want to explore the Palermo area. Some of the city's best restaurants are only a short walk away. The hotel has so much character that for once I really enjoyed simply sitting in the lobby browsing through magazines and planning my next day's excursions. Strongly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel twice, first for one night on a stopover in Buenos Aires. We were so impressed that we booked 4 nights when we returned to Buenos Aires. It is a small hotel, only ten rooms or so, and we liked the personal touch and welcoming atmosphere that this offered. (If you are used to the standard chain hotels it might not be right style […] for you). The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, and very clean. Things we particularly liked: - Staff were very helpful, happy to book taxis, make calls, store luggage etc. - Comfy beds! - Good wifi signal in rooms, and an iMac in the hotel foyer if you didn't have a laptop. - Good, tasty, buffet breakfast, which could be brought to your room free of charge if you wanted. - Nice area of the city, with lots of good restaurants and bars just around the corner. N.B. the hotel is not in the center, but the bus stop to the city is literally just outside the door, and the subte is a short walk away. Things that could be improved: - First time we stayed in a superior room (as they kindly upgraded us!) Second time we stayed in a standard room, and the bathroom was not quite as nice - chip on the sink, and the shower pressure was disappointing. - No fridge in the rooms. This might be inconvenient if you were staying in summer. - Centrally controlled heating, so we had to find a balance using the controllable AC in the room.
