Following a cruise, we decided to stay an extra day in Santiago. This hotel has free shuttle to and from the airport. However, it is in an industrial area, so there is little local to see. Through the hotel, we arranged a tour of Santiago. The cab driver was pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable, The price was fair as well. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and its free buffet breakfast, the staff, and our experience.

We had just one night in Santiago - but Le Reve was great for us. First, it's very convenient from the metro / subway (50mins from the airport; 10mins from Plaza de Armas). Second, the surrounding area is great for relaxing / dinner. There are lots of options. Third, the hotel staff was very accommodating (we checked-in very late at night and checked-out late the next day). Fourth, the breakfast was very good (great fresh fruit), awesome courtyard, and the late night snack / honor bar were well timed for us. While the hotel itself is a bit pricey - it proved worth the value for us.

The Hotel Loreto was perfect. We only had 24 hours in Santiago (long layover), but wanted to get out and see the city. We arrived at midnight and the front desk staff was so welcoming...the bellhop even went out and got us four beers to drink in our room!! The hotel is modern, but classy, with big balconies in each room. The room was very quite; with the balcony door closed you could hear a pin drop, so we got great sleep. The location is perfect for anyone that wants to see some of the city. We walked to the museums, market, plaza de arms, and the Bellavista barrio area. I'd strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent experience -- great breakfasts included -- stayed an extra night at end of three nights on a tour. Many restaurants near the hotel. Only negative was ongoing construction in front of the hotel. Otherwise excellent hotel.

Mary has a little vacation spot in the middle of a farm in the picturesque pirque outside of Santiago. The house is just big enough to make you feel like you have space but small enough to know that you are "home" while on vacation. Her food is amazing (make sure you tell her you want dinner before you get there) and her stories and sense of humor make […] you feel like old friends. Vi är så nöjda trots att det är svårt att hitta. Bäst är att åka motorvägen ruta 5 till Pirque och leta upp den stora vingården Concha y Toro där de hjäper dig att kontakta Maria om du inte har kontaktat henne och bestämt tid. Hennes gård ligger 5 minuters bilresa därifrån. Hon måste öppna en grind. Det är åkrar med vete och majs runt gården och hon […] har jätterara hundar och en katt. Hundarna utom en vistas utomhus.
