A good enough hotel with quite superior pool and gym, but it has none of the facilities one might expect from a 'resort'. Amenities/activities are listed on a three page copied handout, but even front desk/reception knows anything about the content - all offered by absent contractors or outside facilities - at outrageous prices - compared to what is […] possible locally. The staff is very friendly, but nowhere near professional - there seems to be no supervision and people seem to be more interested in having a good time and social interaction. This would be charming and welcomed if basic services were met. The bedroom of the suite was straightened out quite well but,was not vacuumed for three days - as attested by one, quite visible and in the open dead bug. The kitchen is particularly dreadful. Breakfast always runs out of food and people need to seek cutlery and plates - or ask for refills of the spread. One might think food is going out the back door of the kitchen; ordering from the restaurant ends up with series of items that are out. Orderting a club sandwich revealed no french fries #the sandwich itself was served cold# - the waiter promised 'fruit' substitute, then servecd with a substantial portion of pineapple. Noone seems to be in charge of the place and making sure of any standards and with smiles all around, No one takes complaints with any seriousness. Our room was good enough in terms of comfort but needs improvement in terms of maintenance - I found small cockroaches creeping around the drool & the toilet did not flush well. The location is great for the airport but nothing else. There isn't anything within walking disance which means unless you take a taxi elsewhere you are confined to the hotel where the food and drink is very expensive. Das Hotel liegt abseits von allem, was man zu Fuß erreichen könnte. Die Zufahrt ist entweder nur über eine ungeteerte Buckelpiste oder einer Straße, für die man 50 Peso Eintritt bezahlen muss, möglich. Im Hotel steigen überwiegen Koreaner ab, auf die auch das Frühstücksbuffet, das ohnehin eine überschaubare Auswahl bietet, ausgerichtet ist. Auf Taxis […] muss man zum Teil lange warten, und die Fahrer bestehen auf einen Zuschlag, weil sie einen langen Anfahrtsweg haben. Die Zimmertür war schief und lies sich nur mit Gewalt schließen. Bei unserer Ankunft funktionierten weder die Klimanlage (die Batterien für die Fernbedienung waren leer) noch der Wasserkocher. Der Zimmersafe liegt ohne Befestigung im Kleiderschrank, so dass er einfach heraustragen werden könnte. Anstelle eines Zahlencodes kann der nur mit einem Schlüssel verschlossen werden, der natürlich auch nur auf Nachfrage ausgehändigt wurde. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte nur oberflächlich. Die Pools gehören zum Schwesterhotel und sind nicht so schön, wie es auf der Homepage des Hotels scheint. Wir wohnten in einer Suite, die insbesondere im Wohnzimmer ausreichend Platz bietet. Es stehen keine freien Steckdosen, um elektronische Geräte aufladen oder den vorhandenen Wasserkocher benutzen zu können, zur Verfügung. Read more

소토그란데 리조트에 5일 묶었습니다. 리조트 자체에는 그다지 할께없지만, 샹그릴라와 임페리얼 팔라스 사이에 있기때문에 첫날 저녁은 샹그릴라에서 둘째날은 임페리얼 팔라스에서 놀았습니다. 그 호텔들에 묶는것보다 저렴하고 소토그란데 방 자체도 깨끗하구 편해서 좋기에 만족했는데요.... 한 두세가지의 문제가 있었습니다. 하우스 키핑하시는분들이 다쓴수건은 완전 잘가지가시면서.. 새수건은 안두고 가시구요...... 따뜻한물은 나오지 않구 미지근한 물만 나오더라구요...ㅎㅎ 그래도 매번 프론트에 전화해서 수건달라고 해서 하루도 빠짐없이 잘쓰긴 했습니다.. 그리구... 택시에 관해서는요.. 임페리얼 팔라스에서는 택시를 부르는 비용에는 […] 추가비용이 없다고 하던데 소토그란데에서는 조금 외진데 있어서 그런지 50페소를 추가로 내도록 부르는 것 같더라구요.. 여튼 위치상으로는 만족한 여행입니다~ 공항도 가깝고, 바닷가 옆에있는데다가 샹그릴라, 임페리얼 팔라스, 그리고 막탄섬 안에있는 가이사노 몰까지 별로 안멀어서요~~ Read more

施設は値段相応だと思います。 オフシーズンだったので、韓国人も少なく、静かで寛げました。 メインロードからホテルまでは距離があるので、バイクタクシーかタクシーの割増料金が必要です。 マクタン島では、タクシーでもサリサリストアでもかなりふっかけてくるので、セブ市内よりも注意したほうがいいと思います。とはいえ、日本人にとっては少額ですが。 ホテルスタッフは気さくなのですが、フィリピンスタイルというか、のんびりしているので気のきいたサービスは望めません。 注文を取りにこないとか、歌っておしゃべりしているとか、座り込んでいるのは、普通です。 これはフィリピン全体で言えることなので、慣れが必要です。 仲良くなって受け入れてしまった者勝ちだとおもいます。 良い旅を！
