Nice place, clean, staff are great. The location of the place is not ideal, it's hard to find. The hotel is located along with the residential neighborhood. It takes 45 minutes by taxi to the airport. Taxi ride is about 250 pesos to the airport. Breakast menu is so simple. The nearest eatery or restaurant is about 15 minutes walk. Don't ask let them do a laundry for you, they will lost your item.

This is a great hotel to stay at when in the Cebu. Strongly recommend that you book the superior rooms if you stay more than a night, the price difference is minimal and you get more space and a refrigerator. The staff is wonderful. The neighborhood isn't the best but I found that most hotels have the same environment, but the hotel is a very short distance drive to most places (including the mall)

The room was big, aircon worked well, clean & comfortable, but the bathroom was really small.
Location.
On the beach in Lapu Lapu (Mactan Island), Sotogrande Hotel And Resort is close to Magellan Shrine, The Jungle Cultural Entertainment Center, and Mactan Island Aquarium. Additional area attractions include Mactan Marina Mall.
Hotel Features.
Simply step outside to unwind on the hotel's beach. Sotogrande Hotel And Resort has 2 outdoor swimming pools, a fitness facility, and a children's pool. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This 3.5-star hotel features business amenities including small meeting rooms and a meeting/conference room. This beach hotel offers a restaurant. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast. Additional amenities include a rooftop terrace, gift shops/newsstands, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request). Guest parking is complimentary, and available on a limited first-come, first-served basis. "unwelcomed"
everytime you use the facilities, you are being asked if you're a guest, every pool you go to..it's making the guest unwelocomed...in their masterlist, they were only two guest registered, my extra person was not, even i paid for it, she was not allowed to use the pool, it was just an unfriendly experience...yes, the place was nice, but not worth going […] back..and not worth recommending...service in restaurants was good but not attentive, front desk is slow or sooo short satff... "Soto grande"
Do not stay at this hotel unless you are on a tour group and suffer form severe deafness. The eternal ringingi of the houselkeeping phone all day and all night (on loudspeaker) makes sleep impossible. The staff are ill-equipped to deal with any difficulty and need approval for every single procees - which could take up to 45 minutes! Emails prior to […] arrival were not responded to. "Not a great hotel"
The location is great for the airport but nothing else. There isn't anything within walking disance which means unless you take a taxi elsewhere you are confined to the hotel where the food and drink is very expensive. The dining areas need to be cleaned more often. There are 2 pools and a total of approximately 4 sun loungers, again the areas around […] the pools need a good clean from rubbish. 조식이 너무 형편 없었구 위치가 너무 외진곳에 있었습니다 그것 제외하구는 아름다운 수영장과 비치 저렴한 룸가격에 만족합니다 너무 외진곳에 있어 택시를 부르면 20분이상 기다려야 합니다 그리고 반듯이 추가요금을 지불해야합니다 하지만 넓고 아름다운 수영장을 3개나 가지고 있고 스위트룸 또한 넓고 좋습니다
"다좋은데... 하우스키핑 서비스가.."
소토그란데 리조트에 5일 묶었습니다. 리조트 자체에는 그다지 할께없지만, 샹그릴라와 임페리얼 팔라스 사이에 있기때문에 첫날 저녁은 샹그릴라에서 둘째날은 임페리얼 팔라스에서 놀았습니다. 그 호텔들에 묶는것보다 저렴하고 소토그란데 방 자체도 깨끗하구 편해서 좋기에 만족했는데요.... 한 두세가지의 문제가 있었습니다. 하우스 키핑하시는분들이 다쓴수건은 완전 잘가지가시면서.. 새수건은 안두고 가시구요...... 따뜻한물은 나오지 않구 미지근한 물만 나오더라구요...ㅎㅎ 그래도 매번 프론트에 전화해서 수건달라고 해서 하루도 빠짐없이 잘쓰긴 했습니다.. 그리구... 택시에 관해서는요.. 임페리얼 팔라스에서는 택시를 부르는 비용에는 […] 추가비용이 없다고 하던데 소토그란데에서는 조금 외진데 있어서 그런지 50페소를 추가로 내도록 부르는 것 같더라구요.. 여튼 위치상으로는 만족한 여행입니다~ 공항도 가깝고, 바닷가 옆에있는데다가 샹그릴라, 임페리얼 팔라스, 그리고 막탄섬 안에있는 가이사노 몰까지 별로 안멀어서요~~ Read more
