It is modern and small 4* hotel, not overcrowded, so you can enjoy privacy. Has a nice swimming pool. Close to the beach and Santa Maria village.... Restaurant is good (quality of food), comparing even with ‘famous’ hotel ‘Morabeza’. We have visited all 5*-4* hotels in the Island and were satisfied with the choice. Rummen var inget speciellt och golvet var dåligt rengjort. Men hotellets utseende på utsidan var väldigt bra! vackert poolområde. Hade velat ha fler valmöjligheter vad gäller frukosten. Men bra hotel generellt.

Hotel ligt vlak bij het strand (100 meter lopen), maar niet aan het strand. Het is iets kleinschaliger dan de andere hotels en daardoor knusser en persoonlijker. mooi zwembad, goede kamers. ook goed voor kiters met geld.

Som vanligt är Dunas de Sal mycket bra rent generellt. Jag uppskattar den goda maten, särskilt frukosten. Rent och prydligt, enkelt men bekvämt. Dessutom lugnt och avkopplande - inga stojiga barn. Något slitet har det blivit med åren, en förnyelse av tex gardiner vore på sin plats. Vägen ner mot den vidunderliga stranden är trist och borde rensas upp. […] Men det är troligen inte hotellets uppgift. Ett annat problem var att det dök upp flugor detta år! Har aldrig sett flygfän där tidigare (det blåser så mycket). Trots mycket välstädat tycks de älska Dunas de också...Ett övergående problem? Read more

Hotel di bella struttura, solo andrebbe tenuto un po meglio come manutenzione generale. Unica pecca la piscina non riscaldata con acqua veramente fredda! Infatti tutti ai bordi a prendre il sole ma non ho visto nessuno osare entrare. Io ci ho provato ma ho rischiato il coccolone.

Das Hotelpersonal war ausnahmslos freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Zimmer- und Terrassenreinigung war oft eher flüchtig - es gelten hier eben nicht europäische Werte, dessen waren wir uns aber bereits vorher bewusst. Zimmerkomfort: Bloss ein Stuhl, nur 5 Kleiderbügel verfügbar. Zur Zeit herrscht grosse Bautätigkeit in der Umgebung des Hotels, […] was den Zugang einschränkt, welcher als Provisorium bezeichnet werden muss. Hat man aber einmal einen geeigneten Weg zum Zentrum von Santa Maria gefunden, sind es etwa 20 - 25 Minuten zu Fuss ins Dorfzentrum - das war für uns O.K. Seit unserem letzten Besuch vor 8 Jahren, hat sich die Sprachgewandtheit des Personals in Hotels und Restaurants gewaltig verbessert - vor allem kann man sich nun auch in E und F verständigen. Mein mit nur 46 Zimmern überschaubar, modern, geschmackvoll, sauber, ruhig, sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück und Restaurant sehr gut. Großes Schwimmbad mit samtweichem Wasser, […] viele Liegeplätze, schattige Terrassenbar. Kein Luxus, aber perfektes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (im Monat Januar). 20 Minuten Fußweg nach Santa Maria, schön am Strand englang, bei Dunkelheit besser mit Taxi für 3 €, es gibt keine Straßenlaternen.
