The food was cold and there were something that were not put out. The drink machine was not turned on ahead of time and not enough space for everyone to sit. The bathroom - the door was not clean and there was dirt or mold in the corners around the tub. Personnel very friendly and helpful most of the time.

Hotel was great just a little hard to get to due to really long highway turn around. My wife and I forgot our pillows and called the hotel. They said they had them and we could pick them up after the funeral we were there for. Went to pick them up and they had her regular pillow but my medical pillow was gone. The people were very nice. The only issue was a malfunctioning AC in the lobby and breakfast area which was finally fixed by a hotel guest.

for this being a hotel near a lake, the parking was not working well for people bring boats and cars parking. Other than that, hotel was clean, nice, and the staff all friendly.

The room was not completely clean. There were chips on the floor from a previous guest & the shower & toilet had hair from somene else. When I had come in from eating dinner the front desk guy was in the breakfast area on his personal laptop, instead of behind the desk. I called down to set up a wake up call. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Livingston isn't the center of the universe but we had a great stay. We had wonderful food with live bluegrass music at Bubba's on L. Livigston. stayed 3 nights and room was cleaned well every day. staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again when visiting our daughter.

Explained to front desk that their was 2 separate reservations. They said they understood. Got charged extra for stay. Had to stay 45 min over to fixed the problem. Dog was coughing up flem, Did not pay attention. Next night wife and I started coughing. went to emergency room. We chose La Quinta because it is pet freindly. The hotel has a great entrance and appearance. It was clean. Our room was clean but the reclining chair had a rip in the arm, the electrical outlet behind the chair was missing the cover exposing the wiring. Not good with pets. The cover was hanging on the plug to the lamp. The faucet had to be set just […] right in order for it not to leak. Great flat screen TV. Breakfaxt offering was typical. THe worst thing about this hotel is the location. It can only be easily accessed going north on 59. Returning to the hotel from the north meant going south on the feeder road to a turn around and then coming back north. We tried to find a way on city streets but could not find a way and the map we were given was no help. Personnel were helpful with local map of restaurants and attractions. Also ice machine was not working on our floor so we had to go upstairs for ice. And the AC had to be turned to max and set on 68 to be comfortable and this was with cool temperatures outside. Overall LaQuinta has always been a great place to stay. This is the first "negative" I've encountered... and my feeling may have been altered because I flew there unexpectedly for a family funeral. The LaQuinta we were in was at least an hour away from the airport. We wanted to book a room near the airport for the last night so we could catch an early […] flight out (6 am) and have our rental car taken care of the night before etc... a teenage to 20 night clerk was not very cooperative in helping us get our room switched to an airport LaQuinta. Given the nature of our schedule (and state of mind) we just decided to not get any sleep the day we flew home.... set our wake up call for 1 30am and got the car returned and through security with 30 minutes to spare for our flight home. Other than that the day clerks and staff got high marks on service, compassion for our situation, etc. Read more
