Thought the room was really nice until I woke up in the middle of the night and found a beetle in the bed with me... Breakfast was a little skimpy and the front desk seemed more preoccupied flirting with some of the men staying at the hotel than helping us get checked in. Overall, I can't complain a whole lot, just had a couple of small issues.

The free breakfast was awful. The eggs were hard and old. I picked this hotel because the website made me believe there would be a good breakfast. It has to be the worst food I have ever eaten in a hotel.

The stay met my expectations--it was a little hard to find mainly because there are numerous hotel/motels similar in the area. Arrived late and relative no services. It was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was adequate and had good variety for hotel/motel fast food. Friendly personnel. I would recommend the establishment for a travel stop-over.

We called the hotel a few hrs before our stay to book a room. Luckily they had an available room that fit us well. I chose the hotel from reviews online and I was not disappointed. There must not be much insulation in the walls, we were across the hall from the vending machines, we were kept up all night from the beeping and crashing of the can hitting the tray. I can't imagine what the room right next to it heard. We were up all night. The room was SUPER clean with plenty of room and smelled great!

Nice hotel for the area. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Wifi worked well on 2nd floor. I got 2 rooms but no adjoining we're available. Hotel was full of oil field guys so was noisy early in morning.

I go out of my way to stay at these newer Holiday Inn Express Hotels. Over the past few months I've stayed at 3 different locations across the state of Texas and I have no complaints. They all looked identical - I'm guessing their corporate office decided to go with the cookie cutter look and that's fine with me. One of them still had that "brand spanking […] new" smell to it. The rooms are spacious. If you can and if it's available, I'd recommend upgrading to the suite especially if travelling with kids. Read more

Loved the suite. We met here for a family reunion and the large rooms were great for gathering together. There were some issues with the upkeep of the hotel. One of the stair doors was difficult to open. Staff blamed us for a broken pool rope fitting, that was already broken. Manager and Maintenance men need to work on their communication skills. The rooms were extremely spacious and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful considering we arrived at 4:00 in the morning and were late to breakfast, they were considerate enough to keep the buffet open for us while we ate. (Which was quite good compared to most hotel breakfasts...great selection and quite tasty!)

Very nice and clean new hotel in Fort Stockton. The room was beautiful and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast is great as well-eggs, biscuits, cereal, coffee, bagels and pastries, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

If I am ever in Fort Stockton again, this is where I will stay. The staff was very nice and I liked the room very much. However, the free breakfast was not very fresh. The selection basically consisted of food that tasted like it was frozen then thawed in the microwave before being served and the only fresh fruit were green bananas.

I often stay in Ft Stockton and have been quite dismayed at the ldismal quality of the hotels. I normally would not even think of staying at a Holiday Inn but a friend suggested the Holiday Inn Express there so I gave it a shot. What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is new and looks it. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and like all Holiday Inn Express hotels its well laid out, all being built to identical specs - the only excitement being whether the elevator is to the left or right of the breakfast area.
