We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

I had business at a nearby company on Friday, so I chose to stay in the financial district. We extended our stay to include some sightseeing for the weekend and found that the reasonably priced hotel was perfect. You have access to many major subway lines and can easily get around the city. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgable of sightseeing […] activities. One of the front desk attendants even checked in with us to see how our day was when we got back. "Strange smell - maybe too clean"
There was a strange smell sort of musky and sort of like strong cleaning chemicals. It may be the carpet cleaner. Whatever it was other guess noticed it as well and I had to switch rooms but didn't help much. I bought air freshener and lavender plugin that fixed it. I also prayed the hallway. Other guest reports use plugin too.

"New York Wall Street Holiday Inn Express in NYC"
I had my birthday party in NYC and wanted to go to a club in the SoHo District. I decided to stay at the NY Wall Street Holiday Inn Express on Water Street and couldnt have been any more happier! The Hotel had great service! They recommended us a great pizza place that delivery straight to our door. The only thing I found odd about this place was that the rooms were small. I was traveling alone so it was alright with me. But if I had my family with me, no way!! Everything else was wonderful and I would stay there again.

Hotel is a average Holiday inn a bit old, but if your a tourist its a good location, close to Subway and NYC attractions. Don't expect to have a big room, remember your in NYC and everything is small, if you want something bigger and new you will have to pay at least double to get something good.

"excellent location"
Everything was fine. The only problem we had was that the room was very small. We were going to a wedding and getting dressed at the same time was very difficult. The closet was only tall enough hang a suit so I had to hang my dress on the bathroom shower rod. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

I chose this hotel because it was right across the street of the client ofice I was visiting. The hotel is really small (5 rooms per floor) but they make due with the space they have. New furniture and clean.
The air conditioner in the room was so noise. The floor in front of the bathroom was always wet. We went to have breakfast at 9:25 and just few itens we found to eat. While we were eating the waitress was removing everything. We found kindness receptionists. We appreciate. The hotel location is very convenience.

Hotel is localized in the middle of Financial District, Lower Manhattan, near subway, Wall Street, The Bull, Ground 0, so on. You also can arrive, walking couple minutes, to Battery Park, where people take boats to Statue of Liberty and ferries to Staten Island. Just walking one block on Fulton Street, it´s possible find several place for lunch, among […] them, one market of "empanadas", my favourite. In its surroundings there are Banks and Pharmacies 24/7. "Good but not that good..."
I stayed Christmas weekend with my family for one night. I will probably never go again. Its location is terrible to any attractions, but if you're going for business purposes this hotel is alright. If you want to go to midtown from this hotel, it is a one and a half hour walk from here. A taxi ride is twenty minutes excluding traffic. It is in the […] financial district so it is extremely quiet at night (something that I don't like). There is no nightlife and no lights besides on the tops of the buildings. Now onto the hotel itself. It is EXTREMELY small. I am a slim fellow and I thought this hotel was very cramped. There was only two elevators, but one was working at the time. The rooms were very modern, but still cramped. I've been to boutique hotels in midtown Manhattan many times before and this hotel is probably the smallest hotel I have ever been to in NYC. Lastly, the service and cleanliness of the hotel was under average. The lobby and elevator smelled of a strong bleach and that public bathroom smell. The rooms did not smell but I was on the ninth floor so I'm not sure if the floors below me had that stench. The staff was very unfriendly. This is a holiday in express so I would think there could be early or late check-in. The check-in time is four o'clock. I went at two-thirty and the staff said that we had to come back at four o'clock to check in. The odd thing was, the person before us CHECKED IN RIGHT THEN AND THERE! I think they said that we had to come back at four because we were a family of four and he was a party of one. I just thought that was rude... Clean, comfortable hotel just blocks from the NYSE. Rooms are tiny, of course, but that is to be expected. Parking is available about 2 blocks away and is expensive ... but again, to be expected.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Scrambled eggs done just right. Bacon cooked slowly so it was done but not stiff. "Free continental breakfast - a nice surprise"
The hotel does not have a fridge in the room. At first I was annoyed because I'm nursing and need to store milk while I'm away on business travel. However, it was very convenient to store the milk in the freezer downstairs, and having a fridge in the hotel room would've taken up more space anyway. "Ask Before Booking"
The rooms are TINY - even by NYC standards. We were on the second floor and there was work going on all night to set up a crane and put trailers in place for whatever was going on the next day and it was LOUD - we got no sleep.

This hotel could be ok for one person just to spend a night, but would not work for a family or someone looking for a relaxing stay. We booked a room for three with a king bed, expecting to have extra roll-away bed or cot for a kid, but there was only one bed in the room. Staff said that extra bed won't fit into the room and hotel was booked, so they […] would not be able to transfer us. The best they could do was to give a mattress to put it right on the floor for the kid. With mattress on the floor there was no way to open the room door- room is that tight. All that after they sold a room for three people, so it is not like WE presented them with a problem. "HORRIBLE STAFF AND GROSS ROOM"
By far the least friendly, least attentive staff I have encountered in decades of NY hotel stays. The room was vile: toilet unflushed, clogged tub, stains all over pillows. "Convenient, safe and clean"
I stayed here for 3 nights with my 2 daughters (15, 17) from August 19-22, 2011 and we all felt this was a great hotel for us. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. 5 minute walk to the subway. Small room, like many others in NY. But this one had a great distribution of space, and had a King size bed. Small but efficient. Great front desk, very attentive and efficient, at a good prices for pricey NY..
Stayed there early Aug and the location was good, however the room was tiny, the elevator was slow and we had to ask for extra towels each day. Overall the hotel was good.

This spot is perfect for business travelers that need to be in the financial district. Great location. My room had an issue with the AC and they didn't hesitate to move me to a new room, which was in perfect order. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. A+

Quick two night stay on our way to Bermuda. Room was small, but surprisingly made great use of space and was comfortable. Was walking distance to subway, post office, NYSE, Tiffany's (couldn't afford the air, so didn't go in..LOL). Quick cab ride from Battery Park. "Just Right!"
This hotel was great. Rooms very clean, beds comfortable, location for our trip was perfect. Our weekend visit was to Pace University. This was within walking distance to the school and some NYC sightseeing on the lower east side. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We will go back for sure.
"clean and quite just the way i like it"
I loved it our stay was great the young lady at the frount desk in the AM was very nice she helped us with a smile. I didn't like the fact they had to hold $50 on my bank card because we booked at hotel.com. they didn't take cash so it's been a week and no $50 still waiting but overall clean,quite just the way i like my hotels will stay there again
"Great Downtown NYC location"
This Holiday Inn Express was a great one-night stay but I would definitely book mroe than one night there if I wanted to stay in NYC for a long weekend trip. If you want to get in and out and not worry about check-in and check-out details so that you're able to enjoy the city sites and restaurants, this is place to go.
the room and hotel are clean and modern, but the elevators are a nightmare and getting the luggage rack through the tiny hallways is a pain- if you're a light traveler and don't have to deal with trolleys, you'd be fine, but we were a group of three and waiting for the elevator/navigating it through the hallways was a problem in and out. stay on a low […] level & use the stairs as much as possible. room is definitely compact but size isn't an issue for us- if you need a big room, this may not be the place for you. the staff was wonderful, friendly, responsive. breakfast was great (needs more fruit though!) and the coffee was fantastic. the main reason i can't recommend it has less to do with the price or location or people or cleanliness and EVERYTHING to do with the way sound travels around the rooms- every door swinging shut, every tv, every conversation, was clear as a bell in our 3rd floor room. we're not light sleepers but got woken up repeatedly- we could hear the tv show next door word for word, which was a drag at 3 a.m. the staff was quick to respond to our polite complaints of noise at 2 am the first night and 3 am the next night, and the noise DID stop, but it was a drag to have been woken up. the traffic outside was quieter than our fellow guests and we were able to sleep through that. if you can sleep through anything and like compact clean modern rooms, AND need to be/want to be in the financial district, this is a great spot to be. but if you're traveling with light-to-moderate sleepers or happen to be one yourself, avoid. who knows- you might luck out and get quiet guests when you go! Hotel non centrale ma ben collegato dalla metropolitana, colazione compresa nel prezzo....che non è poco! Stanze piccole ma pulite e ben attrezzate, wi-fi gratuito, personale gentile e accogliente.
