Hotel was great. very nice and clean. Staff were wonderful. Shuttle service was always avaliable when needed. My son especially loved their swimming pool since it's a waterpark. If I ever have the chance to return to Utah, I will definately stay with them again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, and I thought the room was great for the price. 1 King Bed in 1 room and 2 Queens in the other room. Plus there is a sofa bed in the main "living room". The rooms could use new carpet, but overall we were quite happy. Upon check in we were told of a dinner that was available to us that evening, and a breakfast buffet […] that was available the next morning. Obviously, this added even more value! The water park was great. It's small, but what do you expect for a hotel water park? There is a large hot tub that my wife and I hung out at, and a couple of small pools and a great slide. The kids loved the slide. My only complaint was on the efficiancy of the slide operation. The line took too long for the kids to get through, and if the changed their operation a bit they could get twice as many kids through the line. The line for the slide is at the bottom of the stairs. So, kids wait for the slider to walk all the way up the stairs, hop into the slide, slide down and shoot out into the pool, only then does the lifeguard let the next slider head up the stairs. If they put a lifegaurd at the top of the stairs, they could have one person in the slide, one person waiting to slide, and the line at the bottom of the stairs would move twice as fast. This way, a slider would be climbing the stairs while a someone else was in the slide. it. Oh well, I guess if that is my biggest complaint, we must have had a pretty nice stay. Read more

The hotel was perfect for a large group traveling on a budget and with loads of gear. The desk staff as great and patient. Even helped us find a late-night place to eat. Difficult in a town that closed at 9pm. We enjoyed it so much we looked for the same chain the rest of the tour. Thanks!

The front desk staff was great. My kids loved the water slide. The location was an easy walk to Maverik Center. My kids did find a lighter under the bed and beer caps by a light, housekeeping was a little disappointing. We will stay there again.

It was a really nice room for the price. I got a king room. We didn't use it, but it had a small kitchen and we wished we could have stayed for longer! The staff was very nice and the breakfast was great, too. I liked it that they have DVDs you can check out. I will definitely go back again!

Nice suite within walking distance of the E Center and Applebee's. The pool is for children and parents of children not for lap swimmers like me . The workout room was nice and had 4 treadmills, a universal gym, bicycle and elliptical.

The best, everyone was very friendly. I am from Florida, came to Utah to visit my grandkids, the pool was their favorite. Breakfast was great every day. I was very surprised about the 'social hours", 3 times a week, a nice dinner, salad and wine. You guys are the best.

This was my first suite that did NOT have an oven. I had planned on cooking dinner in the room for my family of 6, which I could not do because of the lack of an oven. There were M&M's left in the corner of the living room area which I thought was a little gross. From the moment we arrived, our king bedroom toilet had a slow flush, which completely […] clogged the second time it was used. I forgot to put out a sign for housekeeping and I was rudely awakened by housekeeping at 8 am. As I was groggily getting to the door in my undies and t shirt, the door was opened by the housekeeping staff. I'm sure she got an eyeful. The pool was fun for the kids, although my youngest was having a hard time breathing after spending so much time on the slide due to over-chlorination. The hot breakfast wasn't really all that fantastic. By the time we went down to eat, the bacon was gone and there wasn't any more put out. In our 1 bedroom Suite we had a Table, Chairs, Couch (Sleeper for kids), Kitchen, TV. Two queens in the bedroom and a large bathroom. Fit a family of five great and would of been good for six as well. A great value for the money. Kids loved the swim park. Everything looked new and well kept. We will stay again next year.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite for 4 days when we traveled to Utah to visit family. We stayed here because of the central location to our family that lives all across Utah County. In that sense the location was great. But it is kind of out in the middle of nothing. it would have been nice if it were closer to more restaurants and grocery stores. The […] pool was nice, we went early afternoon around 1pm 2 days and were the only ones there, later in the afternoon when the big water slide comes on was packed with teenagers. I do wish it was outdoors, but I think it's rare to find an outdoor pool in Utah. Upon checking in at 10pm they put us in a room that faces an outdoors social gathering area. Not sure if that was the only room left....but we didn't realize it until the next morning when we were unpacked. I wish they would have let us know and given us an option when checking in to not have that room. Traveling with two small kids, who wants to have loud people socializing right outside their window at bedtime. But we dealt with it. Also not sure if it was just our room, but the sound proofing is absolutely horrible. Walking down the hotel hallway, I could hear my husband speaking(not yelling) inside the room, that was unsettling and odd. And we could hear everything else as well, our neighbor next to us, late at night and early in the morning, talking on the phone. It was terrible. I would probably not stay here again. The negatives for me outweighed the positives. Read more

Staybridge Suites in West Valley was very easy to find and close to the freeway so that was very convenient. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and the room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was ok (waffles, cheese omelets, sausage, fruit/yogurt, cereal), but after the first day we decided to drive down the street and eat at IHOP (about […] a block away). The main reason we stayed at Staybridge Suites was for the "waterpark" but we were sadly disappointed. The water in the children's pool and the adult swimming pool was very VERY cold! The older kids that were already there didn't seem to mind but I did not like the idea of having my 2 year old run around in cold water so our much anticipated "swimming" only lasted about 20 mins... very disappointing! Overall, the hotel is close to the Vally Fair Mall, Costco, In-N-Out Burger, Olive Garden, Chilis, and IHOP and its close proximity to the freeway (I-215) was very convenient. Hotel is connected to the Holiday Inn, shares the fitness room with those guests. It was neat and clean, and offered a nice dinnertime snack option Tues thru Thurs nights (wings or pizza or etc.). We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, 5 days during a recent trip to SLC. It was fantastic! The room was clean comfortable and quite large. We had a two bedroom suite, one king bed and one queen bed. The bedrooms were separate with two bathrooms, perfect for families with children. The morning breakfast was a full breakfast with waffles, fruit, oatmeal, […] sausage, bacon etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area was kid-friendly and my 3 year old loved the play structure built right in the center of the pool. The hotel is situated near freeways, restaurants, and shopping which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing extended accommodations in SLC or with children. Very vice place, the kitchen in the room and the free breakfast and dinner on weekday nights, staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was brand new! the only issue is that the hotel is next to the freeway so if you get a room on the west side of the hotel then it can be noisy if you open the window.

The main reason for our family to stay at this hotel is the pool area. Our 5 year old looooves the water slide! The hotel itself is very nice, great size rooms/suites, very clean and comfortable. This is a family friendly place - we stayed the weekend as a last hurrah before school starts again just to get away from home. Expect to see lots of teams travelling for sports from out of town or out of the country here. Toilet didn't flush all the way all the time but we had two rooms and I didn't want to bother with maintenance coming in during the stay.
