Horrendous. TVs did not work in TWO separate rooms. VERY noisy location. Key did not work once. Fellow guests were sitting in hallway talking and drinking outside my room at 5 AM! Breakfast was good but overall a very unpleasant place.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was great except for the Beggers out on the street. But that will be anywhere. Only real bad thing for the Room was the pillows were horrible, could not find a good one. Will stay here again and bring my own pillow

Didnt spend much time inside the hotel since we were in Dallas to site-see but the beds were comfy, pool was warm, the breakfast was as expected, and it was fairly close to everything we wanted to see (Zoo, Aquarium, Flight Museum). When we went into our room, it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. The clerk was very helpful and moved us to another room, upgrading us to a suite. The hotel was pretty clean and comfortable, but it was in a rough area of town. We were approached by panhandlers every time we went to our car.

I was very impressed with this hotel! Although when returning from the Dallas Convention Center the surrounding area was questionable. However, the gas station/subway and spanish food place right next door was convenient. Hotels.com said this hotel had shuttle service to the convention center and I was upset to discover that that was not true.

Overall this hotel isn't too bad, but I wasn't very comfortable with the location. There seem to be quite a few homeless people on the corner and at the gas station in front of the hotel. Once inside I felt safe, but when we came back in the evening, several of the vehicles had parked over the lines. This isn't a long trek, but was unnerving since we had seen what it looked like in the daytime. There was easy access to the highway and not far from the AA center. Eh. It was nothing to write home about. Was it clean? Yes. Was it convenient? Reasonably. Would I rave about it being the best hotel ever? No. The thing that impressed me most was the pancake machine at the daily breakfast bar.

I don't care for the neighborhood, too many homeless nearby. Lots of security, felt safe. We had the unfortunate timing of being there while the hot tub was broken. We were also disappointed that the showers do not get very hot. Other then those two items the motel is in good repair and was comfortable. I also found the hotel staff to be quite helpful on a the few times I requested it. The location was the main reason I only rated this […] hotel a number 3. While I knew I was choosing a hotel in downtown, which was quite nice for driving to all the nearby attractions, the neighborhood was not very family friendly. We had several panhandlers come up to us in the parking lot asking for money and many more were visible at several nearby intersections. A large number of the business in the area also have bars over the windows. If you aren't worried about the neighborhood and only worried about the hotel it's a nice place. If you are looking for a safe neighborhood then downtown Dallas probably isn't it. Read more

Breakfast food included bagels, pancakes, gravy, biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs; etc. The only negative thing about this hotel to me would be the parking. Sign for entrance to hotel, was not easy to see. Almost passed it up. Parking spots are entire TOO small. Thankfully we were not in one of our big trucks (dually) or we would not have been able to park there. An affordable, pleasant hotel for cost-conscious business travellers. It is very close to downtown with a subway/gas station/beer store in the parking lot, so everything is convenient. The young man checking us in, was more concerned about "his girl" on the phone than are arrival. We seemed to be interrupting him.
