Enjoyed our stay except for the smell created by the smoking in the casino. Very poor ventilation system. Just walking thru the casino caused me to cough. The smell permeated my clothes.

Stopped on the way home and don't have any complaints. Staff was friendly a accommodating. Rooms clean and food good. Even the casino was to clean and well staffed. This will be one of our stops on the way home from AZ!

This is my 3rd time visiting Jackpot over a 10 y span. It's a quirky place, being just inside the NV line south of Idaho on US 93. But sure enough, Cactus Pete's is bound to impress anyone who has what would be considered reasonable expectations for such a location. They have a big, smoky casino (can't find those anymore!), comfortable rooms with little […] perks road travelers like (refrigerators, coffee maker, microwave). Lot's of entertainment with pretty big acts on weekends and especially in the summer. Nice enough pool and other amenities. Overall, seems somewhat dated, but in Jackpot, that just feels right. I'll go back when I need a place to hoot and holler without drawing attention after winning $20 playing the penny slots! Good value, especially during week and in off-season (winter). Read more

Rooms were surprisingly updated, clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the pillows were extremely full and therefore uncomfortable for us which are used to soft pillows.

Great place to stay. Great steakhouse and buffet. Comfortable and clean room. Super accomodating and friendly staff. It's on our list as a great place to stay regardless of reason. We'll drive and extra hour just to stay here.

This was a nice stop for a trip between the Tri Cities and Las Vegas. Not a lot to do if you decide to overnight in Jackpot in the middle of the week. But the room was nice and overall the casino was better than expected.

We arrived late and left early so there wasn't much time at the hotel.The hotel is very smokey which I have a hard time with and might have given a 4 if it weren't for the smoke. The rooms were tastefully decorated recently and I liked the warm blankets on the bed (unlike what you usually get). The room was mostly clean but I did notice that there were […] some things that didn't get wiped down like the bathroom light switch. The shower pressure was great and I could have stayed there all day after getting off the road but there is not a fan in the bathroom so it fogged up with every shower. It would have been nice if they included some sort of continental breakfast but only coffee in the room and self serve coffee, soda, etc on the casino floor (back down to the smoke!) Read more

The room was comfortable but the restaurant was so so. I ordered a full salad and got a half. As I said the food taste was so so. Also for what you get the price is a little too steep. I will not stay there again.

The hotel rooms are very comfortable - but there is always something a little lacking with the check-in process. While its not unusual for casino hotels to have long check-in lines, this is a relatively small facility and I see no reason that it should routinely take 15-20 minutes to check in. Once guests finally reach the desk, it seems the computer […] system is rather cumbersome & time-consuming. I travel with my disabled sister, so she needs a handicap access room, and it always makes me more comfortable if we can have adjoining rooms. The first time we used this facility, we were unable to complete check-in until I went back out to the car & got her to come in with her ID. I understand security concerns but I had carefully explained the situation when I phoned to make the reservation, so it seemed a little like bureaucratic overkill. This most recent time we checked in a little after 4 p.m. and there were no handicap access rooms that had an adjoining room that had been cleaned - the clerk was just a little snippy when she told me that even though check-in was 3 p.m, they were not required to have rooms ready until 6 p.m. Since my husband was very tired & I did not want to wait the indeterminate time for the adjoinging room to be ready we ended up eight rooms away from my sister. Neither of these are huge issues in the global scheme of things, but always leave me with a general feeling of lack commitment to customer service. Read more

We felt this hotel was definitely a cut above most casino hotels we have stayed in. And we've stayed in a lot of them! Loved the room--the decor, ambiance, comfort of the bed, room amenities. The casino felt almost smoke-free which says your airflow system is excellent. We'll be happy to visit again!

Check in was slow and they did not describe the amenities offered. Had to ask where the Desert Room was, where to park, etc. He didn't try to sell the property.

We had a good time. Our room was clean the one thing was the food in the diner was not that great. We ate there both for dinner and then again for breakfast. Two of us had to send our breakfast back because it was not cooked right. Other than that the stay was nice the staff was very pleasant. I will definitely stay again.

Both nites were booked for Standard rooms and it was brought to the attention at the check in desk after we had gone to our room. Our room was beautiful and clean. However, the bed was very hard and the pillow to soft and lumpy. The room was to hot so turned on the AC which cooled it down but was noise and kept kicking on and off. We were close to the ice machine and I think folks used it all night long (noise). Over all, not a very good nights sleep:(

Very nice hotel. Stopped on way to Boise for just one night. Long enough for quick dip in pool (very nice) and buffet dinner (average at best). Room and bed was very comfortable and clean. We were on second floor, no issues with smoke/noise from casino. B-fast was decent, but overpriced IMO. Would definitely stay here again, but do feel rates and prices […] are over priced. Was surprised how nice the area was for a small town. Everything was top rate. The view from our room was surper. The pool was so nice and pretty. We were a little confused about getting our stuff to the room. Could not find any luggage carts. The lady at the check in counter did not make it clear to us how to get a cart. As we were taking our things […] to our room I asked a worker and he said go to the front desk. We did that and the young man told us that we need to ask for a bell hop and they will bring a cart and help us take our things to our room. That is service! So we did that when we checked out and tipped him. Not use to that kind of service. We will come back here again on our next vacation trip. I like this better than the two big towns in NV. This was our first time at this hotel. Check in was convenient and the help we received to get our bags to our room was good. The room itself was okay , a bit old, but clean. We stayed on the 6th floor in a non-smoking section. The room smelled okay but the hall smelled smokey- interesting! After a long day of driving the seafood buffet was outstanding!!! […] The next morning there was no quick place to get breakfast so we had to wait until we got to twin falls.
