The hotel was clean and well kept. There was no fridge in the room, no complimentary breakfast, and no coffee maker in the room. All of which I consider standard in most hotels now days. I can't say much for the casino except that it was fairly large. It is not likely that I will play there again.

The hotel was very convienant to everthing. The Mississippi River was just across the street and we had a partial view from our room (317). Our room was a 2 queen bedroom near the elevator and ice machine. You could hear the ice machine, but wasn't a problem. There was in room coffee. This is one of the nicest hotel rooms we have had. The staff was so pleasant, from housekeeping to the desk. The only negative is no cafe or bar of any size in the hotel, you have to take the shuttle over to the casino for all types of food.

good room with nice view of the river etc; 0bviously very handy if you want to visit the casino and has a regular 24 hour bus shuttle if you want to avoid the short walk. room was very clean and had canny views over to the river etc. Only issue was non-working iron and faulty hairdryer which was a bit irritating but overall pretty good vfm.

Our stay was very good in all aspects. We made advance reservations without knowing much about your hotel. We would stay again when passing through. My only complaint, if you can call it that, was the toilets were very low for older people. A bar by that would be very helpful. Thanks

We have stayed in Vicksburg hotels in the past with varying results---mostly just average rooms. However this was our first stay at Ameristar and we pleasantly surprised. The room and its furnishings were comparable to Harrahs casinos hotels and had a high class feel to them. We highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed several nights on a business trip and overall was very satisfied. Pricing for the quality and professionalism of the hotel staff was excellent. The hotel itself is modern, very well maintained, and I found the staff very friendly across the board. The room was very nice and very comfortable. I have already booked another stay.

Cleanliness of the room was below satisfaction; (810) window was dirty, mirror had water stains on them, tile floor needs to be scrubbed and clean, table tops were dirty, and walls need a spot cleaning. Overall not the worst but for the money I paid I excepted better.

Close to casinos. The room was clean to the eye but was really dirty. Toothpaste splatters on the mirror. Bethroom floor and outside the bathtub was dirty.

For $100+ a night, no complementary breakfast (no restaurant in the hotel, must go to the casino across the street by car/shuttle) or any other amenities except for coffee in the lobby in the morning. Hotel itself was well kept, no complaints, but not a good value IMO.

I pointed out to staff the following problems w/ the room: 1) Shower curtain was way too long. It extended onto the tub floor several inches, causing a slip/trip problem. I suggested they cut the bottom of the curtain to a length of about 1" above the tub floor. This was a very good experience. In addition to good service, I left a sport coat and shirt in the closet. Upon my return home, I realized that I did not have the items. A phone call to the hotel and a conversation with the housekeeper resulted in the hotel mailing the items to my home. Very professional service.

Wonderful room. Plenty of pillows on the bed and they were new and fluffy :) The tub soak while watching movies on the plasma TV relaxed our night away.

The staff went above and beyond. My stay was work related, so I needed access to a printer, as well as multiple deliveries of documents from UPS. The front desk clerks were key in making sure that I received all of my deliveries, as well as phone messages. The room was neat and clean, and the housekeeping staff members were polite and friendly. My only […] negative was the lack of room service option, however the hotel is in a central location and I was able to utilize the shuttle that runs every 15min from the hotel to the casino across the street. There are resturants located inside of the casino, all with EXCELLENT FOOD, and the front desk is able to call the shuttle late at night should you feel the need to get out. This hotel was very nice BUT there was no continental breakfast or restarant in the hotel. You had to go across the street to the casino and the restarant there had limited hours. But the staff and room was nice. No room service makes this a bad place for me on vacation

Our stay was superb, the room was excellent and the amenities were above and beyond. The front desk staff were cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful with anything we ask. The shuttle bus between the hotel and casino was prompt and clean with a friendly driver each time we used it.
