"Relaxing and close to the beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Very quiet, at the end of a dead-end road. It almost has it's own private beach, since it's far from the main beach access at Colva. The only complaint is that the staff is a bit distant and not the friendliest. The a/c in the common area was also not working. Overall very relaxing. A ways away from the main town. If you want quiet this is for you.
"Quaint accommodation"Reviewed by Lauren L of "Philadelphia, PA" on Apr 18, 2012
Casa Severina is located on a tiny side street in Calagunte which is in North Goa. Taxi rides to/from other northern beaches (Anjune, Anven) were Rs ~500. Our room was cute and clean, but the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night, waking us up to our own sweat. The front desk was helpful with some things but couldn't manage to point us into the direction of a proper (and open) travel agency to book an overnight train. Luckily by wandering around enough we found one, but it was too late bc the train was full- this led to a minor nightmare. But to make up for eir lack of helpfulness is the bartender Girard(?) who is kind, helpful, and loves to share stories. Next time I go to Goa I wouldn't stay at Calangute Beach, but I would highly recommend Casa Severina as a place to stay for anyone traveling to Calagunte.

Calangute used to be the famous hippie hangout during the 60s and 70s. Calangute Beach, 15 km (nine miles) north of Panaji, is called the “Queen of Beaches” for its unique beauty. Calangute makes an ideal beach site if you want to indulge in watersport activities such as parasailing, waterskiing, and windsurfing. The Kerkar Art Complex and the St. Alex Church are major highlights in this area. At Calangute beach you can spend the day lazing under the sun and enjoy the evenings savoring locally caught and prepared seafood. Several mid-range to value restaurants and cafes offer tasty local and international cuisine. The bars in the vicinity cater to a mixture of tourists and host a wide variety of music.
see all hotels in Calangute"Basic accomodation with a friendly staff, good loc"
All Seasons provides very basic accomodations. The room was small and the furniture old. It was mostly clean and everything worked except hot water. I did not have hot water at any time during my stay. However, the staff was exceptional. I got to know two of the young staff members well. The front desk was always helpful. Also, the location of the […] hotel is right in the center of Calangute only a few minutes walk from the beach and across the street from Over the Flames, a good restaurant with Indian and non-Indian food as well as nightly entertainment. Also across the street was Pete's Getaways which helped arrange my tour. I ate breakfast each morning the the All Seasons Restaurant. The food and price were good. The price of my stay at All Seasons was low. I definitely felt I got what I paid for. Despite the lack of hot water, I would stay there again. My recommendation to others is for those wanting in-expensive basic accomodations. Anyone else would be disappointed. Read more

"All Seasons Beach Classic - Bad"
There's nothing good about the hotel apart from the fact that its close to Calangute. The rooms are either bad or worse. Few are clean. So take a look at the room first b4 booking it. Online booking is a mistake I made, then I had to argue my right for a better room. Its a cheap deal for ppl who can adjust somehow.

"Value for money"
Room gives full value for money. Hotel is at very good location, near to the market and beach. Hotel does not provide any good view room as I requested. They give room on first come first serve basis. Hotel service is not good at all.
"the hotel all season is all bad"
Not a good hotel to recommend to any one. Nothing is right in this hotel no power, no hot water, air condition does not work properly, no good TV channels, the complimentary breakfast is very bad. Over all the hotel is not fit for any one.
Not worth being called a hotel. Should be removed from any and all web searches. Pathetic

"No Go Not near beach"
I found this hotel surface clean. The friendly staff smile and then ignore your request. My room overlooked the road which has honking loud traffic day and night. The crimson red room had many large condensation patches. The bathroom had a shower no hot water. The electric light switch was directly opposite the shower head. There was no working light […] in bathroom (one light bulb was replaced after I complained) The air conditioning ground al the time but did not cool the room the fan did. The windows and sills were dusty and had dead insects on them, the wardrobe and sideboard was dusty, The uninspiring cafetiria did serve a decent cuppa and cerial breakfast. The white sheets were not changed during my 7day stay, the mattrace was reasonable quality. THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL But Beach Classic Hotel has a swimming pool. During my stay there were several groups of 8 or more young noisy Indians. The Television was not LCD but an old tube style. Complimentary toiletries consisted of one tiny bar of soap. I never received any water bit did have a dirty jug in the room which I would not of used to wash my hair. I have photographs to prove the condition of this. In my opinion, a well travelled mature female who moved into a 400 Irp room and found this more comfortable. If this was an English Hotel I would request trading standards to check its claims. "Good place for Budget Travellers"
We booked AC room thru hotel.com but unfortunately AC was not working we complain about but there was no proper response, main advantage is nearby beach & market, food quality was also good, disappointed with accommodation.
"Good Location"
Convenient place to stay as it is located at a centre point to travel anywhere, also supermarkets and restaurants are walkable distances. Staff is friendly and ready to help

Du får vad du betalar för, ett nedslitet hotell ca 5-10 min till stranden med taxi. Det går att få betydligt fräschare hotell på plats till samma pris. Endast okej första natten.
