May have been the best three days of my life...
The room was nice....but the edges around carpet really need a good cleaning and prior tenant left clipped toenails on carpet. Kind of gross!

The Horshu Hotel in Jackpot Nevada was very convenient for us. We were travelling home from Arizona to British Columbia and chose to take a route that had very few large cities on it. This hotel fit right into our plans and we enjoyed our stay except for one thing. We were given a room on the 3rd floor and inconvenient to get to with our luggage. There […] was an elevator, however it was at the other end of the building from our room. We chose to bring the luggage up by hand which was somewhat difficult. Everything else was fine. I had to curl my hair without a mirror....since the plug in and the blow dryer in the bathroom did not work!!! Inconvenient

"Horshu hotel Jackpot NV"
The hotel itself is quite fine. However you must checkin across the street and we did not know this. We had to walk over as we could not give our parking space up otherwise it was very inconvenient to load or unload our luggage. It happened to be very cold and it was quite unpleasant coming back after supper.

This hotel was not very accessible to someone who is handicapped. It also does not make sense that the rooms available close to a ramp were all smoking rooms. Makes it hard for a person who is on oxygen and needs a wheelchair to have a comfortable room. Would not stay here again.

"Older Hotel"
Older hotel in need of some upgrades. Beds were a little soft. All in all not bad for the money. Not sure if I would stay there again. It's the overflow for the hotel accross the street. By the way that is where you will need to go to check in.

VERY INCONVENIENT FOR CHECKING IN.hotel is NOW part of cactus jacks casino.there was a very small sign in window at "horshu hotel"telling you to drive across the highway to cactus jacks for checkin. then you drive back across hiway to find room.room was fine for price.very quiet.

"Room walls paper thin."
the guests above us must be in training for a marathon because all night long we heard them running back and forth in their room...no sleep what so ever as we were finally dozing off when either someone fell off the bed or they collapsed from exhaustion. Rooms very paper thin in regards to sounds...

"Horseshu Hotel Review"
We had reservations at the Horseshu Hotel and Casino booked on Hotel.com. When we arrived at the Horseshu Casino, it was closed and there was no hotel attached. It was midnight and we were tired and confused. There was a hotel next door but it was called the Antelope and we did not see a lobby or front desk area to ask anyone where the Horseshu Hotel […] was. So we went across to Cactus Pete's Casino and asked where the hotel was and we were told that it indeed was the Antelope and that check in was at Cactus Petes. The room accommodations was nice and comfortable and clean. I would stay again. However, I suggest to Hotels.,com that this information is given when a reservation is booked. Check in at Cactus Petes, stay in Antelope Hotel that is next door to Horseshu Hotel and Casino where you think you have the reservation. Read more

when we got to the hotel the computer system was down and we had to wait in line for the hotel to hand process the rooms. The bad thing about that was we didn't get to check out our room until after our apppointment. When we went to our room there was someone already in it... We just backed out of the room and called the front desk from a phone in the […] hall. It was quite scarry we had our little 2 year old grandson with us and then we had to wait for someone to bring us new keys to another room. Its a really good hotel, amenities wise and location wise as well. The only thing I was missing was a complimentary breakfast.

When making our treks back and forth from Nevada to Washington state, we always stop in Jackpot and stay at the HorseShu. Excellent value for a nice, comfortable, and clean room. Staff is friendly. No frills- but we always find this a great place to overnight.
"Disabled people need not stay"
Hotel very good for the general population. The hotel is not disabled friendly. Hotel elevator in middle of hotel and ramp on the other side of the facility. There are no signs for disabled door on the front of the hotel. I had to climb stairs and I am handicapped. I drove around the building and found a handicapped entrance but it was far away from […] the elevator. This not a good hotel for someone that uses a cane, walker, or regular wheelchair. The room was clean, but the bed was only fair. The pillows were skimpy and I would have expected more than two on a king sized bed. They had trouble finding our reservation. We reserved a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. Also didn't like that we had to register across the street at Cactus Pete's.

the staff at cactus Pete's where we had to go to register and pick up our key card realized that I was on oxygen 25/7 decided to upgrade us to the tower room so some one could take care of our bag's and make it more convenient to have a good time and not have to drive around to enjoy the atmospher of the gaming table's and slot's, so awesome and considerate,, […] we just loved ,loved loved it. thank you Staff at cactus, pete's and especially the sweet lady that made it all possible. we will definienetlly do it again and recamend it to all our friend's June and Sharon Room ,2801 Read more

"The Horseshu Hotel & Casino - Jackpot, Nv."
Bathtub very durty had to put towl in bottom of tub to shower because tub was sodurty. The back enterance doorway was covered with bird droppings ( crap ), over 75, I had to pick up my suitcase to get over the door enterance. I'm sorry to say our stay was not very good. First of all, we wanted to stay at Catus Petes, Full , not your problem. We stayed at Buffalo 3558, and I, being handicapped had to get in the car a drive across the street any time we wanted to eat or gamble. We were just driving through and needed a place to stay for the night, so I booked a room on hotels.com. When we arrived at the hotel the people were very friendly and since we booked a non-smoking and they didn't have one available, they offered an optional smoking room with hot tub in it. I really appreciated the upgrade and the fact that they didn't […] throw me and my husband into a smoking room, especially since I'm 5 months pregnant. Other than the fact that I didn't feel the hot tub in the room was cleaned thoroughly as I felt some residue around the top ring when I went to fill the tub, the room was great. I would have liked for the tub to be cleaner, but since we got in late and were leaving early, I didn't bother to complain. Service and atmosphere were wonderful. I will stay there again. Read more

"Very Nice Stay"
This was a total impulse trip. I went with family and we had a greattime. The Casino at Cactus Petes is real nice, the Sunday brunch was excellent.

"dont always get what you reserve"
Ok room but attention to detail in the cleaning was lacking. We reserved a king be but they didnt have one when we got there so a queen was what we had to have.

"pets"
we had a over 70 gentlemen who was handicaped with us. he is half parylized and we has a dog with us. we had the dog in our truck when we weren't at the hotel. when we took my father-in-law to the hotel we left the dog with him so he wouldn't be alone. we had security call us to the front desk, we were gone ahalf hr., said our dog was barking and disturbing […] others. we immediately tried to call the room. no answer. we ran to the room. we were told some one was knocking on the door so the dog was barking...of course...he's alone and there's some one at the door!! we are in Elko,nevada...with a empty field and hills around! we stayed to make sure everything was safe after that.. was disappointed as there was dogs in quit a few of the rooms as we saw the next morning...not staying again with a not so secure place... The hotel was good but knowbody metioned that you have to check in at Cactus Petes which is across the street. I walked around looking for a front counter looking like a R tard then someone told me to walk across the street and check in. Other then that it was good.

Comfortable and CLEAN room. We stayed with friends, and went to the Saloon next door to chat over beer. It was nice and QUIET. Great price, would definitely recommned to others to stay here.
