Great location! Rooms a bit outdated. TV not in great location had the kids been with us. They wouldn't be able to see it from where the futon is. Maybe move the TV's to the center of the wall so all can see or have 2 TV's. Staff was awesome! Went our of their way for us. Pool area very nice !! Nice to have laundry onsite. But would be nice to know […] how long the washer and dryer take...kind of a pain to keep running down to check. First let me say the front desk staff were very nice and helpful and that's always appreciated. The rooms are not good. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The air conditioner did not work properly. The door had to be slammed to shut properly. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and granola/breakfast bars. Good news and bad news. First the bad. Our "neighbors" decided to have the 4 of them party, yell, laugh and yuck it up all night-like til 1:00 in the morning. We pounded on their door and told them to quiet down, and all they said was "gee, you don't gotta be so mad"... I tried to call downstairs to the desk, but the switchboard and offices are closed […] all night-til 7 in the AM I left a voicemail that wasnt returned until we approached the desk the next morning. We found out they would also be staying an additional night so we asked for a different room heres the good news.....and they were more than willing to cooperate. They found us a bigger room, with a king size bed that was QUIET all night. Yes, I would stay there again, clean rooms, nice location....but the next time the "neighbors" want to party, I'm just going to call the cops! Read more

We stayed here just last week and were fine with the room except for the comfort of the beds and pillows, the tub was "icky" and their breakfast was not what you would want in the morning. Other than that, the rooms have some character and there's a nice little kitchen area. With a few improvements, it could be nicer! They need to invest in some decent […] coffee and coffee creamer, get rid of the poptarts and buy some english muffins, and some fresh food in general. I think that would go a long way. Everything was very nice. The continental breakfast wasn't very extensive, only breakfast bars/muffins/instant oatmeal, juice/coffee were available. The rooms were clean and spacious. Location is very nice. My only complaint would be the pool, it was very cold b/c the heater was broken. I would stay there again.

We had booked to be within walking distance of a wine festival on Clearwater Beach. Hotel allowed us to check in early so we could park and walk to our event. We stayed here for 3 nights, 2 out of the 3 we got no sleep. very noisy, people up all night, no consideration for other quests, and no one at the front desk from 10 pm till 7 am. NOT GOOD.

I booked for double bedroom, they gave me one king, when I asked them, their answer was futon sofa is the second bed! Ocean view is just the word on their advertise, and breakfast is just some pop tart! Not even fresh coffee!

We had read other reviews about not staying on the first floor and this is beyond true. We tried one reviewer's recommendation of requesting a floor higher up upon check-in and were unable to do so. They were booked solid even after chatting with us over the phone beforehand about how this could definitely be a possibility. :( The walls seemed to be […] paper-thin between the pool and our room because we heard all the laughing, talking, yelling and splashing on the first floor. We were also right by the gate of the pool so could hear this every time is slammed. It may have not been too bad if we were night owls (the pool closed at midnight), but we had an 6am manatee tour one morning and an early flight another morning and would've like quiet earlier on. I was curious if you could still hear all this noise (all throughout the day too), so checked it out on the side of the hotel facing the ocean, on the top floor, and found it to be nice and quiet up there... Other than that, we loved the feel of the room with the colors and decorations. It was very appropriate for beach-side and felt nice and home-y. The living room area with the table/chairs/couch came in handy (esp. with sandy gear from the beach on tile flooring). On that note, the beach chairs and umbrella were pretty poor quality! ha, I laugh even now as I picture myself getting help from a couple on the beach when our umbrella flipped outward and my husband was in the ocean! The rooms were very clean and quiet. The hotel was right across the street from the beach. We could walk to the pier and lots of places to eat. Great location! The only negative was the quality of the breakfast. Powdered creamer for the coffee, pre-packaged pop tarts and muffins for breakfast. I was expecting at least yogurt or toast!

Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Quiet, I didn't hear doors shutting or water running in the other rooms... Location was good. Pretty close to my favorite restaurant, Post Corner Pizza. The only real problem was that the toilet did not flush well and the maintenance staff had to be called twice.
