Overall it was fine. However, the shower was very small and the bathroom needs to be remodeled.

The shower curtain had mold on it. Not impressed with the cleanliness. Went to get ice and found out that they charge for it! There was construction going on around the whole hotel. The neighborhood was sketchy and the hotel was not conveniently located. Could have found something better for less than we paid. Pretty disappointed overall.

The most run-down motel we have seen in 50 years. The picture on hotel.com website is far, far better than the actual place. The neighborhood was absolutely scarey. The rooms were unacceptable. The price for this motel was triple what it was worth!

Front desk lady was very friendly n nice. Housekeeper was always smiling. Very helpful staff n not once were we bothered while our do not disturb sign was hanging. For the price of rooms this hotel was perfect. They do offer studios with stoves n sinks other rooms had microwaves. Bathrooms are small beds are very comfortable.

It was clean and affordable. Nothing really bad or wonderful about the place. My family (that live in the area) told me it is in a bad part of town. The hotel is dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. It's on a busy street and the pool was frigid. Convenient laundry facilities. No breakfast provided. Overall fine for a budget motel.

The mattress was hard to sleep on. Both my husband and I woke up with a back ache. The kids loved swimming in the pool. Our kids enjoyed the stay. It was a really great price. The neighborhood was a little scary, but we felt safe enough in the hotel complex. Mesa is not the same sleepy little Mormon town it was when I was a kid!

I was very disappointed that my WI-FI did not work. Having wi-fi was one of the biggest reasons I chose this hotel. The remote to the tv did not work. The water smelled of chlorine more than any pool I had been to. I had to yell for help at the front desk after standing there for about 10 minutes. I guess the guy was to busy watching tv.

The hotel service was friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi spa and a queen bed for two days and it was heaven. The room was very clean. Air conditioning worked very well. The only down side is that there was no breakfast/room service.

Check in is at 4 P.M. Room was blazing hot with inadequate through-the-wall A/C unit. Took 3 hours on HIGH just to get it semi-comfortable. Bed was ok and linens were clean. Had crumbs under bed and a used Q-Tip on the bathroom floor. Trashcan liners were shopping bags from Safeway and security door has a huge gap between bottom and the threshold. We loved the room. We got the jacuzzi suite and it was just wonderful. We felt the management team were very friendly and very accommodating. The hot water knob was squeaky and I told the person at check out and he wrote it down and said it would be fixed. Was good for the most part. Was a hot day 111 degrees.... so the room was very warm and muggy. To oak while for the AC to cool it down. Call ahead and request AC to be on prior to your arrival. Front desk extremely kind and helpful! The free Wi-Fi was nice.

Check in staff was great. She was friendly and very hospitable. The room was nice and clean. It's not an embassy suites...I think you already knew that though. The room is appointed nicely, although they use the same picture in two locations in the room. The shower is small, but not unusable. Figure that its 30" square. We chose the room with the jacuzzi! We didn't use it but it sure was big. The room was comfortable. And, although a coffee maker is not part of the amenities, staff provided the pot AND 2 ceramic cups! Really nice people. Great location. I would stay here again.

The American Executive Inn for the price was great. The manager was top notched and took care of all my needs quickly and effeciently. I loved the kitchen and for two guys who were there to watch Spring Training Baseball it worked out very well. I would use them again. Go Dodgers!
