Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport

My only real complaint was that the shuttle from the airport to the hotel took a really long time, but otherwise, everything else worked out really well for the one night we were there!

Good spacious room for good NY price-awesome hot breakfast not just bagel and coffee-only problem is transportation back to hotel at night. Need shuttle from train after dark otherwise very nice.

Cleanliness of room: Poor. On a 4 night stayin a double queen room - trash was only emptied once. Not enough pillows given for each person to get one. When called housekeeping at 7pm to ask for an additional pillow , did not get a pillow until midnight. Bed was not made on two different days. On one day we were only given two towels. Quality of Service: […] Poor. We were flat out lied to by hotel staff. A big factor in us booking with this hotel was the shuttle service to the subway. We called prior to booking and was told the shuttle ran every twenty minutes to and from the subway. Upon arriving we informed the shuttle would only run on the hour only during rush hour time to the subway. We would have to find our own way back to the hotel. There are hotels that cost the same and are closer to subway with better service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

This is my second stay at this hotel. Close to the airport and very clean with wonderful breakfast makes this Hampton Inn a easy choice. I wish cabs were available from the hotel to midtown.

Nice quiet room although the A/C switching on and off was rather loud. Shuttle to LGA every 20 minutes, free and friendly. Breakfast was decent. All in all a good value for early am flight.

We arrived early, but the staff found a room for us right away. The service was friendly and informative. The room was very large and the bed was absolute heaven. Close to Airport. Comfortable. Great for overnight when you come in late from out of town. Way cheaper than going downtown. I arrived at 11pm and saved $200 by staying here vs. going into town the first night.

The size of the room was good by […] NY standards. There is a hotel shuttle from LGA and also one to the subway (the 7 line by Citi Fileld). We used the subway to get everywhere. You just need to grab a cab or a bus on the way home. The subway ride leaves on the hour during the day. It takes about 15 minutes or less to get to the station. Very convenient. Do take note that there aren't really places to eat within walking distance. If you just plan accordingly, it is no problem. Breakfast more than makes up for it. Read more

The staff was terrific because they were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The premises and rooms were clean, the beds fabulous, and the breakfast choices had everything one could want. Although it takes a bit to get to downtown, this hotel is well worth the subway rides to stay.

Hotel was clean and more than adequate. Parking was a minus. The hotel has limited on site parking, which forces patrons to pay to park in garage. I had asked about parking before booking and was told there would be no charge, so hotel validated parking garage fees. Do not think the fees would have been wave if I did not press issue.

Went to NYC for US open and sightseeing. This was a great location as we flew into LaGuardia. The hotel shuttle made frequent trips to US open site/train station so we were able to easily take the #7 train into the city and back. My stay was good but the shower's head was loose. The breakfast was fine but staff was a bit slow at taking care of issues like a wet floor on the cefeteria. Not enough chairs or tables to sit and eat breakfast. Overall, good stay with minor adjustments in the cafeteria.

I gave this hotel a lower grade in comfort because the mattresses, while feeling luxurious, are just too soft. My husband ended up pulling out a scratchy spare blanket from the closet and spending most of the night lying on it on the floor.

Good hotel for being close to LaGuardia Airport. Staff was helpful. The room was well appointed, except that the carpet really needed to be cleaned. Beds are very comfortable. Be aware that there is a parking surcharge unless you get the Expedia deal that includes the parking. Good hot breakfast.
