newly built, therefore all facilities clean and modern. fantastic all day breakfast bar roof top spa/pool area in process of being completed when we were there in May 09 but will be a welcome added comfort as not much happening in nearby neighbourhood. Car would be a must. staff helpful and pleasant.

I wanted my first two days in Alberta to be stress free and was a bit anxious about my choice of Hotel.The fears were unfounded as this hotel proved to be a gem. My wife was extremely impressed with the thoughtful details in our room, particularly the vanity mirror and the ipod port. We wanted to take the bed home with us it was so comfortable. Everyone in the hotel was most helpful. If one wants to be picky, the breakfast was missing fruit. Other than that the place was perfect.

Need more locations, eh? Calgary is thier only property so far.

Helpful, friendly and courteous staff made the one-night stay for my wife and myself pleasant. The room furnishings were more than adequate, and the large flat-screen TV was a pleasure to use. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped with towels, soap and toiletries. The absence of a hotel restaurant was a drawback. The takeout Italian meal we ordered took two hours to arrive and the food verged on the inedible. Too bad our experience was sullied by this unfortunate event.

This is a new facility, so everything was in great condition. The room had all modern furniture and a great shower setup. The staff was helpful & with a hotel-style breakfast thrown in, it was certainly worth the cost.

I was very satisfied and will look for an Acclaim Hotel where ever I go. The ammenities were more than I expected; DVD, iPod, flatscreen, portable phone, TV in the bath, the shower was next to none. The wife commented I really nailed the reservations.

Close to the Airport,friendly staff,hot & cold breakfast included with free use of DVD movies in room. Modern decor,bath and comfy bed. Good value for the price highly recommend.

This new airport hotel has all the modern conveniences, including free wireless Internet, a big LCD television, and free DVD movies. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is nice (with a built-in night light), and the free breakfast is above average. There is no restaurant yet, but one is under construction. I'll stay here every time.

This hotel really lived up to our expectations. It was lovely arriving after a long flight to be met by a cheerful transfer bus driver and a bottle of cold water! The room was extremely comfortable and very plush, the bed was the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. A simple breakfast got us off to a good start the next day. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

I left my jacket at the hotel and called 2 days later. They had my jacket and held it for 2 weeks until I came back to the Calgary airport. Also, driver took us directly to rental car location with our luggage instead of just to the airport - only across the road but still very helpful. Breakfast was less then wonderful as the breakfast staff could not keep up with the amount of people having breakfast at the same time

Staff friendly, clean, and attractive. Gave the Banff fairmont a run for its money on amenities. Didn't have to ask for the bathrobe, like we did at the Fairmont. You know service.

Our family liked the hotel very much. The shutter bus is nice and roomy. We were suprised to find there are DVDs available for guests to watch. They also offer free breakfast. The hotel bathroom is very modern and fancy. The only drawback is lack of room service. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm. We found there was no room service for the meals. We had to order pizza from outside. For those late arrival guests, it is better to feed yourself in the airport.

Well-appointed room with modern decor and appliances. Very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Not sure if there are restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again. Had a luxurious feel.

This hotel has only been open 4 months. The rooms are very thoughtfully designed. There are 2 desk areas, the lighting is great, coffee and tea maker in the room! Best part - really comfy beds and pillows. Complete breakfast in a bright and spacious room. I look forward to returning when the restaurant and roof hot tubs are open.

The Acclaim was an incredible surprise for such a tired traveler! I had no expectations except that of a bed and a bathroom but let me tell you...beds that felt like you were in heaven with 4 down pillows each; lite makeup mirror at a vanity; bathroom that looked like it came from a magazine with things like a soaker tub, jets in the shower, tv in the bathroom so you could watch while you took a bath, etc. Of course it had all the normal features of tv in the room, iron and ironing board, closets, desk, etc. One last thing...the brunch was to die for. They would cook you want you wanted right there! Highly recommend it!!

Airport location gives a good jumping off point for the rest of the city. Great reception upon check in- very polite and helpful staff. The room was quite nice though a bit on the cozy side. Great bed, wonderful bathroom and a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

Surprisingly nice for the price, even had robes in the room. Nice ammenities. We only stayed 1 night, but it would be comfortable for a longer stay. Only drawbacks, a lot of construction in the area and nothing else around, but the airport.

Except fot breakfast, no food in or near hotel. Had to catch shuttle to airport to eat. I would recommend hotels south of airport with food in or nearby. Hotel was otherwise very nice and new

We checked into this hotel twice, once for our arrival night in Calgary and once on the night before we left. We chose it based on its cost and proximity to the airport. Considering the amount we paid, we were very impressed. The room was immaculate and very upscale in design. The bathroom was fantastic. The free breakfast had a decent selection, so anyone could find something to eat, and they began service at 5:30 so you could eat before catching an early flight. The only complaints that we had were that (1) the service at the front desk was very slow and less friendly than what we are accustomed to, which was a problem upon checkout when we were trying to catch our plane, and (2) we had reserved a king-sized bed and were given two double beds both nights we stayed here. Also, the parking lot is a pain right now, as there is not really a place to pull up and unload your vehicle without blocking traffic, but hopefully that will be addressed when the lot renovations are complete.

It's brand new, clean, upscale bathrooms with an oversized tub w/whirpool jets, marble throughout the bathroom, two large beds, a huge flat screen TV, and very green (lights in hallway turn off when no one is there, electric in rooms works like European hotels (only when your key is in). A great place!

We had an early flight and this hotel was convenient to the airport and they had a van that took us there at 6 a.m. Extras like the free movie choice, and the fancy shower were great. Hotel has not yet finished its restaurant or the roof top spa, although the info for it was included in the room. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Very modern and tasteful in design. Room was comfortable although the AC system could use some improvement -- there was a big fluctuation in temperature between when the system was off and when it kicked on. Room has comfortable beds, a wide screen television, a second vanity outside the bathroom (which came in handy with two women trying to get ready for a 6 am shuttle departure!) and a desk. Though the bathroom is not large it is state of the art (even has a TV), and the multi-head shower system is pretty cool. Service was very good. Computers in the lobby with free access to the Web to check email, w/ a printer to print boarding passes, etc. No restaurant on site, though it looks like they may be building one. The front desk gave us some menus for local restaurants that deliver and we did call one. There is a large lounge/breakfast area off the lobby w/ several wall-mounted televisions. Serve-yourself buffet breakfast begins at 4:30 am. Shuttle service begins shortly thereafter. All you could wish for at an airport hotel at a great price.

We had a king room on the first floor. Excellent amenities, breakfast, convenient to the airport, helpful staff.

Excellent price for the value. Brand new hotel and technology. It's close to the airport but we did not hear any loud airplane noise.

This is a new hotel and have stayed many times in past months, great Hotel and great people working there.

Great hotel, we loved the fact that it was a modern hotel with very nice furnishing. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very modern (we liked the fact that you had to use your hotel key to power on the room). One of the biggest advantage to the hotel was the fact that there some well thought out amenities such as the massaging jets in the shower, TV in the bathroom, and cleverly designed furniture. What we did not like was the hotel information booklet indicated that there was a rooftop pool, but failed to mention that it was still under construction. That issue was minor compared to the great value for the hotel.

convenient location (about 2 miles from airport -- we arrived so late their shuttle wasn't running; cab fare was $11.00 but hotel will pay for cab; I just didn't know that and didn't get a receipt!). Rooms were outstanding: awesome bathroom with rainmaker showerhead and shower panel on wall. Comfiest beds I have ever slept in (sheeted comforters, no bedspreads). Great breakfast. Morning front desk manager very nice, very accommodating, very helpful. Free computer with internet access in lobby; free printouts (booked hotels and printed receipts for rest of stay right there in the morning). On the con side: night time service person was nice but slow with check-in; internet access took a few tries. Nothing major. Would stay here again (and did, a week later on my way out) and would recommend to anybody. Hotel was great value for money the first time I stayed there and still a good value the second time (stayed during Stampede in Calgary, a major local event).

with a few minor glitches which were responded to quickly. Very nice rooms with nice in room set-up. Free internet, free DVDs. No restaurant yet but in the works. Very close to the airport, prompt shuttle service. We have stayed in many hotels in the USA and around the world. We would be happy to stay at an Acclaim hotel again.

Unser erstes Hotel für eine West-Kanada-Tour. Sehr gut. Kostenloser Transport zum Flughafen. Großräumig, Sauber, modern, gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Cet hôtel, d'accès facile depuis l'aéroport ( 5 minutes) est parfait. Nous sommes arrivés à 22heures et avons découvert une chambre soignée (chambre Exécutive) très bien équipée, très bonne literie, internet WIFI gratuit haut débit, petit-déjeuner compris type continental très convenable. Nous conseillons cet hôtel

Prima nieuw hotel, bijzonder behulpzaam personeel en schone, moderne kamers. Het restaurant was nog in aanbouw tijdens ons verblijf maar daar ondervonden we geen hinder van. Ontbijt was "gewoon".

in direkter Nähe zum Flughafen, allerdings keine Geräuschbelästigung in einem Industriegebiet ohne viel Verkehr gelegen. Relativ neu errichtet, dementsprechend guter Zustand und Ausstattung mit Wireless LAN inklusive. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliche Bedienung. So sind die meisten Kanadier eben... In zwanzig Minuten ist man mit dem Auto im Stadtzentrum. Wenn wir nicht für den Rückflug schon ein anderes Hotel gebucht hätten, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder das Acclaim wählen.
