AZIMUT Hotel Vladivostok - Vladivostok

It turned out this hotel actually consisted of two buildings. The first, is the one pictured with the crazy soviet-era looking red arch (which looks a little different today, sporting a new logo). The exterior of the second is not pictured at all (though the lobby is) and is a big building by the coast, about 10 minutes walk away down a hill. We got […] a taxi to the address printed on our reservation email. Annoyingly this was not the address of the building that our room was in. So we had to lug our bags down the hill (stairs, no ramp) to the other building. Not impressed. This other building is effectively a completely independent hotel with it's own reception. So the images you see on this hotel's page are actually a collection of photos from both buildings (the exterior of one, the lobby of the other) which is a bit misleading. As for the hotel itself, once we were at the correct building, it was pretty decent. Nothing flashy, but a clean room, hot shower. A nice lobby with good Wifi (no WiFi in rooms). Great view of the sea & the sunset. Breakfast was excellent. The building it self is a big, old, interesting building with many levels. Felt like it went forever. There is a nightclub on the bottom level. If I overlook being mislead about the photos & arriving at the wrong address, I'd say it was a very decent budget hotel. the hotel dislike americans, they gave me the worst room in the hotel, i had to fight with them until they barely gave me what i paid for. no ocean view, dangerious bathroom conditions.

This is an older hotel. We had sea view rooms, so noise was not a problem. Bed not the most comfortable, but we still managed to rest. Wireless Internet a big plus for us.

This hotel had all the major stuff you could want. Great location on the seaside, but a little run-down on the inside and hard to find because of on-going construction. Internet available for free in the lobby and a very friendly staff.

Shower pressure...only way I can explain it with was...None existent. asked maintenance to fix, as reception told us it was just a busy time when we must have been having a shower. No it was just poor quality shower head and water pressure terrible. Blanket didnt fit the bed, asked for a bigger one..they dont exist.they said we had another in the cupboard, […] true, but it didnt have a cover. I had to ask twice for a cover. Poorly designed room, 441, as if you needed to go out you had to shut the bathroom door first. If someone was entering and someone was coming out of the bathroom they would collide, or anyone in the corridor walking past would see the person showering. early plane to catch. I had organised breakfast 2 days in advanced, and checked again the night before. No problem they say. and dietary requirements were noted. woke at 5am,, we're told "chef just arrived, doesnt have time to do us packed breakfast. I said we need it, could we please have at least a piece of fruit. he hurriedly slapt something together,never took our dietary requirements into consideration. NOT HAPPY JAN! Restuarant-only cash, we had to venture into the blizzard. only nice thing was receptionist Anna, wrote a note in russian to explain this. Read more

Functional is how I would describe the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful although finding a good english speaker amongst them is almost impossible but with the use of a good phrase book it is easy enough to get by and I think the effort to speak Russian is appreciated. Our room faced west across the inner bay and had an excellent view […] when the ever present fog eventually lifted. It can get noisy at weekends as the hotel often hosts weddings etc but that is part of the fun of being in a big city. Construction work nearby is also relatively noisy but it soon fades into the background and becomes part of the hustle and bustle. If you spend any length of time in Vladivostok you will soon walk yourself fit up and down the hills - this hotel is up a half kilometre or so steep hill opposite the railway station bus station and can be quite a trek if you are hauling luggage. The breakfast buffet is interesting with such things as chicken rissoles, cod in batter and vegetables on offer alongside the more 'normal' fare of cold meats and cheese. All in all I would say that this is a reasonably priced hotel in a very busy city and the bonus for us was free wifi in our room at a very reasonable connection speed. Read more

hotel is in a good location with rooms at the front having a view of the bay, which is lovely. The breakfast is good and has a wide selection. Hotel staff have good english and are very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean but basic and the bathroom was very basic, the shower was only hand held, not fixed to the wall which was a bit suprising considering […] the price of the rooms here. 客室内は清潔で、快適でした。　また、朝食ついているので安心です。　夕食もホテル内のレストランでの有料バイキングでしたが、料理については満足しております。　周辺に24時間のスーパー（小さいですが、飲み物つまみ類にはこまりませんでした。　また、駅、港に近く徒歩圏内であることも良かったですし、高台の為、ホテル付近からの眺めも最高でした。　次は海側の部屋を希望したいです。宿泊客は、小学生の団体が多かったので、少し安心感も感じました。　フロントの対応も良かったです。　ただ、部屋のドアノブが一部不具合があったので、これはホテル側に伝えることで、滞在には問題はありませんでした。　全体的にいい印象があり、また宿泊したいと思っております。

the staff's english is poor, hard to communicate using english low efficiency noisy environment because of the construction work in the nearby building bad smell and nearly no fresh air in the room yet, the breakfast buffet is rich, quite gd.

Hotellissa on meneillään laajahko remontti, ainakin julkisivut ovat työn alla. Toivoa kannattaa, että myös huoneet remontoidaan. Kannattaa siis pari vuotta varmaan odotella, ennen kuin tuon hotellin valitsee.

アムールスキーザリーフという別館のほうに宿泊しました。ベッドのスプリングは寝台列車より硬く、ベランダには前の滞在者のものらしきゴミがふくろごと置いてありました。早朝の到着だったので、前日から予約してましたが、掃除は一回だけです、と頑なに拒否され、ふつかめには、ようやくタオルのかえだけ入手しました。

房间不是安排在酒店主楼，而是在对面马路另一家不同名的酒店(可能是联营酒店)，但外观完全不像一家酒店，前台没有说清楚，只说opposite the road, another building，问how far away，回答5 minutes。我们出去找了十多分钟都找不到，回去前台再问，服务员才给我们一张地图，指示给我们正确地点，原来我们已经去过门口，只是因为外观不像酒店，没有入内。

3泊しましたが、朝食が無料でとてもおいしく良かったです。　品数も豊富で、パンも3種類ほどあり、その他おかずが選べるバイキング方式でした。　飲み物はコーヒー、 紅茶、ジュース類があり、とてもおいしかったです。 私には、ここの食事は口に合うのでたくさん食べました。 レストランは十分な広さがあり、座れないのではという心配はありませんでした。　また、食事に来るゲストがおしゃれをしてこられる方が多くびっくりもし、楽しかったです。

一言でいって，日本人が通常もっている同クラスのホテルではない．いろいろな忍耐力が要求されるホテルである．設備はリニューアルされているそうであるが，すべて見た目も使用してもはっきり老朽化している．最大の悩みは，どこかからか現れてくる小型ゴキブリである．水設備は期待通り？危険な領域．怖いもの見たさであれば，経済格差，習慣，文化の違いを体験できる機会でもある．周辺の中国人観光客が大型バスで毎日やってきては，ロビー（唯一の快適？空間）で騒音に近い会話を撒き散らす．ロビーも狭いが，無線ＬＡＮが無料であるので望郷の念に駆られることはない．併設のレストランは注文から1時間以上を覚悟．ホテル忍耐である．

One good thing about this hotel is its location. That is it. Rooms. Picture does not match reality at all. The smell in the rooms is disgusting because there is no non-smoking rooms at the hotel and rooms never be ventilated.
