Overall, the hotel was good...but a couple of things could have been better: [1] I had a no-smoking room, but the bathroom fan pulled cigarette smoke into the room from the hallway and [2] I stayed 3 nights at the hotel, but the beds were not made and no clean towels provided on the second night.

I requested a non-smoking room. On the floor I stayed, all rooms were marked non-smoking, yet the smell of cigarette smoke was very strong in the hallway. The carpet in the room was stained and the bathroom smelled of midew.

We booked this hotel for what was to be a romantic trip to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Imagine my disappointment when we returned to our room late in the afternoon to find that it had not been touched by the maid! The front desk gal said all the maids had gone home. I didn't want excuses, I wanted my room cleaned! She said she would do what […] she could, but she didn't have supplies and didn't know how to make the bed. Eventually she showed up with some clean towels. I had HELP her make the bed. All this nonsense put me in a really bad mood and ruined our romantic evening. When we complained to the front desk next morning they said the manager wasn't there but would call us in the afternoon. The room WAS made up that day, but the manager never called. I asked to speak to the manager again the next morning when we checked out, but again they weren't in and again they never called. I have never experienced such a situation at any other place I've ever stayed. I guess nobody cares. I will never stay at any Jameson Hotel ever again and neither should you. Walls need painting (dirty) and carpet needed cleaning. Bed mattress was lumpy and pillows uncomfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. I stayed at this hotel a year ago and it was not like this. It is a shame they have let it degrade to such a state.

We only stayed 1 night on our way to Nashville. Hotel has a very 'charming' appearance. Room was clean; bed comfortable. The breakfast is nothing to rave about; actually disappointing. However, that would not stop us from staying there again.

Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Room with king size bed was a little tight, but served our purposes for a one night stay. Price was very reasonable and hotel was clean and well maintained inside and out. Very clean-without that awful "cover up" spray freshener having been used. Nice room, extremely comfortable bed, staff was wonderful-cheerful, friendly and helpful. I wish every hotel could be this nice! Would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it.

This was a business trip with an early start up. This hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar could use some protein on the menu as we ran out of energy very soon and had to find a meaty breakfast about 90 minutes later.

We enjoyed our stay at the Jameson, it was in very good condition, well maintained and clean. My only wish is that it was closer to the track but you can't have it all. Overall very nice, I would stay again and I would highly recommend.

This is a must stay if you are going to the Bristol race or if you are close to this area. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the track and pretty much a straight shot. We requested a smoke free room..and we did not get it the room stunk....also the Air Conditioner did not work, and there answer to fix that was bring in a fan...It was the middle of June people.....we asked to be changed and was told they where full....the did not seem to want to make us feel comfortable.

We kept having to go back to the front desk and get our keys reworked, it was very annoying. The restaurant we were told was excellent "Fatz" next door was the worst place I have ever eaten and the free breakfast at the hotel was all gone if you didn't get up by 7:00 a.m. The hotel itself was ok, a little overpriced but it was race weekend.

The hotel provided a restful haven for us while we visited our family up in the nearby mountains adjacent to the NC border during Thanksgiving weekend. It was a bit of a drive to the family home, but not a real problem as the route was fairly direct. Beds were comfortable, and our room was quiet an warm. We would stay here again. We also were pleased […] with the room fee and felt it was fair for what we received. My only suggestion would be that for breakfast, fresh fruit would have been available, and some nice cheese or fruit Danish would have been offered as well. I do not eat gravy and biscuits. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff and total experience were excellent. We were there only for business, and did not explore the town too much, but did like the surrounding restaurants, especially Dunkin Donuts, as we have none in Alabama.

In Greeneville for business. Wound up spending more time at hotel than expected. Personnel nice, breakfast service very good. Only problem was mattress was very "firm". Personal preference though. Would definitely stay again.
