The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

"Albergo Gatto Bianco Capri"
The staff were just not interested in you. When looking round the hotel after arriving no one asked if they could help, at breakfast no one approached you if you wanted sometyhing not on display you had to chase after them. The two waitress' at breakfast never uttered a word to us. Having said that the breakfast was lovely. Our room was okay, did not […] have a wide screen TV as seen in an other review. Ours was listed as a "superior" room which the male reception confirmed it was but had our doubts. Again though the room was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. There was nothing in the room about the hotel, when the bar was open ,how many channels on the TV,how the air conditioning worked, prices in the mini bar, any information on what to do in Capri, etc. etc. In all definetly not a 4 star hotel, no way. And really the staff need to go on a course on dealing with the public. Even when checking out all I was asked was if I had used the mini bar. When I said I hadn't he just took my key and walked away. Read more
"Nice location and helpful front desk team"
We enjoyed our stay at Gatto Bianco and their house cat, Matisse. The hotel only serves breakfast but there are many restaurants outside the door within a short walk. The beautiful tile in the hotel does make it a bit noisy when the morning cleaning begins. Overall, we look forward to returning.
"Antigo mas bom"
Hotel charmoso e localização perfeita bem no centro. Mobiliario meio antigo mas tudo estava limpo. Eramos 2 casais e nos ofereceram um apartamento com 2 dormitorios, 2 banheiros e um lindo terraço. Poderiam ser suites o que seria mais confortável e em um dos quartos não tinha TV, apesar disso foi ótimo
