Resort like property, pool and breakfast is great. Take a long boat to great beaches. the one next to hotel is ok, but not even close to a paradise like beach just 15 minutes ride away. Tip: if you like to stay in a pool, book a room with private access to a pool from a balcony.

This place was nice, but there were a few inconveniences that will probably have me booking elsewhere next time. First off, they only give you one key, which is attached to a HUGE room key thing that is welded, so you can't take off the key. The room as to be manually locked every time you open it, so god forbid you forget to lock the door when you […] leave or come back.There were also mosquitoes in my room and finding them is near impossible. Also, during the hot season, when you can't keep the ac on, the room is hard to cool due to the location of the ac.... All little issues, but they add up. Also, if you go out at night, it's quite a long and dark walk back. Tuk tuks are like tuk tuks everywhere and aren't usually the best bargain. Ananta Burin Hotel is a charming boutique hotel, with amazingly attentive staff, and first notch facilities. The rates were competitive to any comparable 4 star hotel in the area. The on-site restaurant, while more expensive than area non-hotel eateries, provided excellent food and service at prices far below what we would have paid in the States. The only negative we have to mention is the extensive building work taking place next door - which started before 7am daily and carried on well after dark. We booked on low-season and it was a very good quality for the price! There is a nice pool and the rooms are clean and have their own balcony. It is at least 5 minutes by walk to the beach and the main road but it makes it quiet. The service was very kind and professional. The wifi is only free in the lobby, and doesn't work very well... it varies.

We arrived at 1:55pm the check in time was 2pm; the lady at reception told us our room wouldnt be ready for another hour and we could pay extra to upgrade and get into a room straight away. When we pointed out that the room is meant to be ready for 2pm and we wouldnt pay extra she said we were being "inflexible" we didnt think this was acceptable and […] after a quick conversation over the phone the room was ready for us to go into straight away. The hotel is clean and has a pool and internet facilties (which are chargeable). However the hot water in the shower was cold when we called down to complain the reception lady sent someone up, who looked at the shower and then left without saying a word. I called reception a second time and was told I would get a call back. 20mins later when I called the lady said the maintenance guy had now gone home and had told her the water temperature was fine. We ended up arguing with the woman on reception as she insisted that they dont have hot water due to health and safety reasons; we ended up using a shower that is used by the spa customers. We then had to ask for compensation for the inconvenience which was a voucher to use for our evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The next day there was hot water in the shower but the whole experience was unpleasant. Read more

It was a very clean hotel, and the staff were really nice and helpful. I think it was also cheaper than the hotels around it, and the location was just far enough away from the tourist drag, but not too far away. You have to buy a password in order to use the WiFi, although it only charges you for the time you use. The pool is small, and there isn't […] a good deep lane for swimming laps. The breakfast is from 7am to 10am, it's very basic: eggs any style, breakfast ham or bacon, two fruits, white bread, rice congee, sausages, juices and coffee. No pastries, wholegrain breads, cereals, or vegetables. The quality of maintenance and repairs is a little rough, but everything was in its place and worked. The balcony was really comfortable, and the lounge chairs by the pool, but you can't have food and drinks around the pool. The cafe by the pool has good food, but it's not comfortable to sit in. You can't call out on the hotel's phones, you have to borrow a cell phone from behind the desk, but they don't charge you much for local calls. There was construction going on at the time I was there, but they started late in the morning and ended before 6pm. There's a good convenience store across the street. Be sure to call ahead if you want them to pick you up at the airport. I think this was in an excellent location, and really comfortable for the price. Read more

I booked a room with free wireless. But when i ask the hotel staffs for the activating of free wireless, they tell me differently. one tell me i can only start using starting from the check in time, but another tell me i can use it starting from 12am the day i booked. So when i ask for the password on the check in time, they start telling me another […] version, which is my booking with hotels.com with free wireless is not valid. all they give is just 1hour free wireless. But based on the booking made with hotel.com, it was stated free wireless. isn't it clear that it is for the day u booked and not stated it is just for an hour? So after arguing with the staffs, they r willing to offer 5 hours of wireless and subsequently add on if it is not enough. But the network in the hotel is extremely bad that i was not even able to detect wireless in the room or at the front desk. Hence i was not able to enjoy the free wireless after booking with hotel.com. Ends up not using it at all. Read more

For the price of the stay, this hotel is brilliant. Obviously really new, the rooms are great, modern and spotlessly clean. The locations is only 5 mins walk to town too. There is currently another hotel being built next door and the building work woke us up on the first morning of our stay, but when we told reception, we were moved straight away.

The hotel could have use plastic cup for gargling, which is safer, especially for kids, since the glass provided was extremely fragile. Bodde her i off-season så det verste maset var over. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor der alt skjer men alikevel i gå/tuk-tuk avstand til alt du trenger. Frokosten var ok, servicen var god, massagen var bra. litt slappe til å rengjøre rommet 100% , men flisespikkeri. Alt i alt godt fornøyd :)

The rooms were clean and nice. Some of the staff was friendly, others not so much. The view from the balcony was a wall. Our biggest issue was that the room was very hot. The AC just blew room temperature air. We asked them to fix it. They sent their 'engineer' to fix it. Three times, but it didn't help. The breakfast was quite good though

Svært fornøyd med oppholdet. Servicen og beliggenheten var god, og rommet var fint. Det første rommet vi fikk hadde dårlig trykk i dusjen, samt at det luktet litt kloakk, men vi fikk bytte med en gang og etter det var vi veldig fornøyd.

Bags were dropped to the room by Paul which is the best person I have ever met in the hotels. He told us everything about the hotel (which is unusual in Thailand), he recomended the best restaurants in Krabi (not expensive) […] and every request I had, he tried to cope with. Great stay. Sometimes was loud during the night but not a big deal. My friend cut his leg in the water and he asked for bandage. Vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung einwandfrei. Tolle modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Der Pool wird täglich vom Hotelpersonal überprüft. Das Frühstück geht in Ordnung (asiatisch orientiert mit stark Frittiertem aber für die Westler gibt es ausreichend Toast und auch eine kleine Auswahl an Früchten).
