Hotel Villa Belvedere - Taormina

The stay here was very pleasant because of the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. The restaurant was also very nice. Our only disapppointment was that we paid for a sea view room and were given what was called a partial view. Partial view was about the size of a quarter. However, all in all it is a very nice hotel.

Difficult to reach but Taormina is like that!lovely view! Very pushy receptionist who wanted to cancel our existing reservation to force us using their recommended restaurant: it is ok to be helpful but imposing its not acceptable

Location was fantastic. Right in the heart of Taormina! Everyone is very friendly! The views from the room were beautiful. Could see the pool and partial seaside view! Breakfast was great for being complimentary! Great variety of cereals, fruits, and juices.

We had a little bit of hard time finding this hotel but once we did, it was well worth it. Great location, walkable to all the neat shops and restaurants in Taoromina. Breathtaking views of the water. Good, helpful staff. Would go back in a second.

Of the five hotels we stayed at in Sicily, Hotel Villa Belvedere was our favorite. The furnishings were attractive, the landscaping lush, and the views spectacular. The breakfast room was particularly charming. The bathroom was small, but clean and efficient. The nearby park is wonderful.

The Hotel has a dramatic setting on a cliff over Taormina bay with a pool and large gardens and very well maintained. The breakfast room and lunch by the pool were excellent. The rooms although modest in size have been updated and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and spoke excellent English. Service was outstanding.

The main building is under major renovation during the winter season. Stayed at recently refurbished apartment rooms, which are several steps away from the hotel wing. Excellent location with great views and first rate staff. The room allocated was upgraded on arrival without extra charge to give a superb view of the bay and mount Etna. The car hired at the airport was really wasted as, apart from the transfer to the hotel, most journeys were on foot. Excellent hotel, Lovely staff, more than adequate breakfast and surprisingly good lunch by the pool. Very convenient for the main shopping and restaurant area and also the bus terminal. We had a 3rd floor room with great view over the sea and towards Etna. For us the location was perfect, shame the weather was not too good! The hotel is hard to find by car due to the narrow streets & one way system but is worth it when you get there. It is on the hillside with amazing views over the bay & Etna from sun terraces, pool & breakfast room & only a 5 minute walk from Taormina centre with its many bars & restaurants. Buffet breakfast was good and the staff all spoke good English […] & were really helpful. The valet helped with car parking on the sloped narrow drive; it's a shame you had to pay for parking but there really is no alternative. We came out of season and had a fabulous time -= gorgeous room (full sea view with a juliette balcony) the hotel had a really nice feel to it and the staff were lovely. Great room for breakfast and the whole place felt very airy. Only problem is parking and getting to the place as all one way and very difficult even with sat nav. Recommend parking in […] Lumbi and walking (is about 15 mins but through town) as is 13-14 euros for 24 hours. The hotel charges 12 if you can find it which is easier - you'll be amazed how one guy can move each car like a jigsaw to get yours out in the morning! Definitely recommend - pay extra for the views as they are stunning. Pool closed when we were there in March sadly but it was warm enough to wander about without a T-shirt. Fantastic place. Veldig bra hotell med veldig serviceinnstilte ansatte som var behjelpelig med det meste. Ryddig og pent. Kun 5-7 min gange til hovedgaten. Små matbutikker med suveren skinke og ost på veien (bl.a Mama Mia). Ansatte snakker veldig bra engelsk. Stort basseng med solsenger, og en lunsjrestaurant med nydelig italiensk mat. Fantastisk frokost!
