I booked this hotel for my mother and her brothers for a short family get together while visiting their sister in Jax Beach. They all said it was clean and nice--esp loved the breakfast, could not believe it had so much variety of diff foods and they said it was delicious! Only dissatisfied thing is that when I made the reservation, they said the room had two doubles and a sofa bed, but found out when they checked in the hotel had no such thing--so kind of squished with 3 grown people in one room. But overall they enjoyed the trip and would stay there again.

I am easy to please. A bed, and a fridge, and a microwave so I have the freedom to hold my own food if I'd like. Not like I'm in prison. The free breakfast buffet was great. I was surprised at the quality of the food.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and smelled fresh. It came with a small frig, microwave and a coffe maker. It was a pleasant surprise.

Management was excellent and complimentary breakfast was great. Internet speed was very fast. No carpet in room though. It was a stone tile floor except for directly under the bed. Overall, it is an excellent stay and weekly rates are also good.

This Super 8 is easy to get to from I 95 and was very reasonably priced. It was close to a movie theater and there was a mall not to terribly far from the hotel so it has a few things to do nearby. If you like bbq there is a small bbq place across the street. There is also a gas station located right there also. "Quality left alot to be desired..."
The room was by far one of the worst we've ever stayed in. The ac didn't work more times than we cared to count. The room service left the curtains open each time they cleaned the room, which didn't make us very happy, since we had alot of electronics and other valuables in it. And being in a not so desirable location, made us nervous. And last I knew, […] cleaning meant you also sweep.... no not to them. The same stuff was on the floor after we came back to the room. Location was good and price was the best. You get what you pay for. The place needs to be updated a little bit and the door did not seem to close completely.

The guy acts like he can't speak English, microwave stopped working, guy next door was beating on the wall because my bed was squeaky and he heard it, not worth the money, lower rates would help this hotel.

"Clean and affordable, but old and not the best are"
The hotel was clean and affordable, but it was"old" and the room was small. The surrounding area is not the best. Burger King is right next door, so that was convenient. If you are just looking for a place to sleep while going to the beach (about 13 miles from the hotel), then this will do. It served our purpose.
Despite being far from the beaches and downtown area, the hotel was pretty good!
"Not a very well kept up hotel"
It seemed like a hotel that mostly drug heads go to. The floor was tile and not carpet, some of the towels were dirty. I actually put my blanket over the hotels blanket I wasnt sure how clean it was. "I enjoyed my stay at Motel eight Jax south."
I enjoyed my stay at the Motel even though I was unable to get a room on the shady side. I would have preferred a room on the shady side of the Motel because the sun shines on the western side and I'm unable to darken the room sufficiently. Plus I'd rather have my car on the shady side to keep it cool as I make a few runs to the store in a 100+ degree […] car, but the staff reserves the shady side of the Motel (and bottom floor) for the new guests from out of town. Very old hotel. Not in the best of neighborhoods. There is a shooting range across the street and an adult entertainment business two doors down. We got our monies worth but had to go to the lobby every night to get a new key for our room because it had been deactivated during the day. "Hotel Stay"
I stayed at this hotel overnight for business. The comforter in my room wreaked ofsweat. It hadn't been washed priot to my arrival. In addition, the safety lock on my door was broken. The contental breakfast was awful. The coffee was hours old.
"Nice place"
Nothing bad to report. Two night stay on business. Outside doors. All tile floor is cold on your feet. Needs bathroom exhaust fan - paint peeling from shower ceiling.
