I had to stay there only to sleep and get up the next morning for an early event. I was surprised at the amenities such as free Wi-Fi, hot and cold... breakfast options, the pillowtop mattress, etc. These are amenities normally found at higher scale hotels! Don't let the location scare you! The room was clean and so were the linens. It is a very good value for quick overnight stays or a hook-up ( LOL ) :-) by George from San Tan Valley, AZ on 05/24/13

I stayed for 3 days at the Days Inn. Pros: The staff were pleasant and accommodating, the building appeared clean and well kept. Felt safer there then other Motels that I stayed at in Phoenix. Cons: The pool smells horrible, you can smell the strong mildew smell from the parking lot, you can't see more then 2 feet into the water, I seen the Pool man […] come by and you can still see the scuff marks smears from peoples bodies on the walls of the people. Light fixtures where not working. The chair in the sweet where so filthy that I was more comfortable putting my travel supplies on the floor or bed. I flipped back the sheets and noticed that my sheet had what appeared to be an old Blood stain about 15in in diameter (I'm in the Medical field). I pulled off everything off the bed walked over to the house keeper and asked for new bedding. How could the house keeper miss that detail while prep of the bedding? I can understand that many people uses the pool, but why is it reeking of mildew? Read more

3 PM check in is a little late for afternoon ball game. It's not as close to downtown, but has the best rate. Very comfortable room and bed. Old TVs and very limited cable. Wi-Fi is good. Best bet for downtown or west side of Phoenix.

Actually very pleased with the service, other then the bed sheets were stained with spots of blood. They should just toss the soiled sheets. Not to comforting were you travel all the time and then have to see that.

Horrible, and scary. Agressive drug dealers outside my door. They had booked five rooms on the hallway. No security. Staff overwhelmed, could do nothing about the situation. Unsafe for anyone. I had a room with 2 queen beds. One of the beds had smudges of dirt or makeup on the sheets and pillow case. The other appeared to be clean. The hotel is in a nice location that is easy to get to and from the highway in addition to being located to a ton of stores. The rooms are on the small side but the beds were comfortable and the pool was refreshing!

Well, we were greeted on our arrival very nicely. The 1st night we were only awoken once around 3 in the morning from some noisy people. When you used the sink your feet got a shower. The shower also leaked and ran constantly (not good for a desert climate). The continental breakfast was the cheapest I've every had, from the plates/utinsels to the food. […] Not that I expected much, but lower quality from previous stays with Days Inn. But the clincher for us was the all night BBQ party outside of our room. I don't know if they were locals or actually someone staying there, but they were outside the pool whooping it up until after 3:00 am. I called twice, I'm sure we were not the only ones and they said the police had been notified. And having a long drive home the next day definately will NEVER stay there again and I will be very hesitant to stay again with a Days Inn. I hope this review can go to management somewhere to a possible inspection of this hotel. Thank you for listening. Read more

Blinds did nothing to prevent the exterior lights from shining through. TV reception was terrible. Highway noise was awful. Hotel was located in a bad neighborhood. The only positive was that the staff was nice.

As I was checking in, a homeless person walked in, trying to convince the receptionist to give him a key, because he "locked himself out". After check-in, i went to my room, which was terrible. It was the dirtiest room I have ever been in. There were finger prints with food residue, on the tv, the lamp on the nightstand had sticky residue, probably […] from spilled soda, the cover on the fan in the bathroom was partially hanging off and to make the toilet stop running, you had to wiggle the handle. On top of all that, there was a very loud group of teenagers that occupied several rooms. They were loud past 3AM. After a group was banging on the door next to mine, I finally got up, opened my door and threatened to call the police. Where was management? Obviously not paying attantion to the hotel. The bathroom was an issue. First it smelt like cat urine which was very unpleasant. The seat on the toilet was also broken so whenever you had to use it it moved. Stayed for 5 days if I had not paid in advance would have left after first night. To many things to mention that needed replaced or repaired. Had the free breakfast 1st morning food was great but felt like in a prison with a watchful eye of a staff member not asking how was our stay or to be welcome but more do not steel an apple.
