We chose to stay here after I realized I booked our resort for one less day than we were leaving (oops!), and our resort was booked for that last day. We decided to get something closer to the airport since we would be leaving the next day. We had been staying an hour away. It worked for one day. Overall, it was nice. The service was great, and the rooms were clean. We got the room for a great deal through hotels.com and it was a beautiful ocean view. However, there are these little bugs that can be seen a little during the day, but a LOT at night. They were crawling all over the sink and desk. It was pretty gross. Other than that there were no huge turn offs. The food is pricey. We had been staying at an all-inclusive so this was a little shock. We paid $70 for two appetizers, a burger, and simple ravioli. The access to the water (both pool and beach) was nice. There weren't many people there so the beach and pool weren't crowded, which was nice. The only places that have Wi-Fi are the pool and lobby.

The staff was friendly and made the experience that much more memorable. The beach is a short walking distance from the hotel. The only thing I did not like was that the water from the faucets seem like its sea water, it's salty! I felt like I was showering in the sea. I'm not sure if that's how water is in that area or if it's only in that hotel. Other than that I recommend this hotel, its comfortable and affordable ;)

My wife and I just returned from a very pleasant week long stay in February, 2012, at the Golden Bear Lodge in Cap Cana. Our unit was very spacious, clean, and exceptionally well decorated. Even though our reservation indicated that breakfast was not included, we were informed at check-in that a buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. The staff was eager to please. On several occasions when the shuttle running among various locations at Cap Cana was running slowly, the staff volunteered to take us by golf cart to the golf course and the beach club. Nearby Punta Espada Golf Club is exceptional in every respect. We also used the nearby beautiful Caleton Beach Club where for a small daily fee you can enjoy the picturesque beach with chaise lounges, towels, fruit punch, and a daily skewer with fresh fruit.

I must say this was a great hotel experience. The facilities were top-notch; the hotel staff was friendly and helpful; and there is a decent bar on-site. - all of this within a one minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. This is not an all-inclusive resort, which may be a turn off to some. It definitely caters to those who like to buy groceries and cook in the large room kitchens. If this isn't you, don't be discouraged. We found it easy to get food at the restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. For example, there is a beach-front restaurant a short 3 minute walk away with some tasty and inexpensive lobster. The noise was totally non-existent. The quiet environment made it easy to enjoy our vacation. Only downside I recall - the wifi. The signal was non-existent on the room and weak on the balcony. Once we could connect, we experienced slow load times. Given that we were trying to get away, this wasn't so disappointing, but I know it may a deal-breaker for some. Overall, loved this place. Definitely would recommend staying here.

"beware"
While supposedly all-inclusive, the staff EXCEPTED tps for everything. Since there was horrible at best compared to US service. Most of the staff doesnt understand english so you being about to speak spanish is a must. Food was good, but the 1500 credits they give you to spend are a joke. Most things you would want to spend them on are always full(supposedily) […] or not included. Of course if you want to pay more then some how space opens up. its not worth it, this hotel is a 2 star!! would never recommend it to a friend, long waiting cracked floors, rooms not cleaned well, bugs all around the restaurants , there is defenetly no quality in this hotel except for the lobby area . im verry disapointed.

things we did liked about the hotel: the staff is very friendly the room service food is great the beach was so clean to get a drink was always fast the karaoke night was fun the ZEN restaurant staff and service was amazing and so much fun!! the buffet in the mornings is amazing things we didnt like about the hotel: the food at IPANEMA was horrible […] as well as ZENS' food the service at IPANEMA was very poor the shuttles with in the resort are not the greatest so we had to walk alot the ride from the airport to the hotel is really dangerous people drive horrible and since its such a long drive you really dont know if you are going to the hotel or if they are taking u else where. i recommend to get the shuttle service from the hotel not a taxi like we did. we made a 1800 toll free call to the US and they charged us 87.00 bucks for the call!!!! the moon night club was dead they need to get something going there Read more

Estive hospedada com meu esposo e 2 filhos durante 01 semana e gostamos muito do hotel. Como não há muitos atrativos em Punta Cana a escolha de um bom hotel é decisiva e posso afirmar que acertamos escolhendo o Hard Rock. O hotel é muito bonito, possui várias piscinas e opções de refeição. A maioria dos funcionários é excelente, surpreendem pela simpatia […] e eficiência. No meu caso o aspecto que deixou a desejar foi o serviço de camareira. Somente demos gorgetas para os funcionários que prestaram um bom serviço e no caso do serviço de quarto parece que a gorgeta tinha que anteceder o serviço e como não pagamos, nos 3 últimos dias a limpeza e arrumação do quarto não foi bem feita, não tivemos reposição de tolhas e itens de higiene. Recomendo que coloquem todos os objetos de valor no cofre, pois minha filha tirou um dos brincos que estava incomodando e deixou no banheiro, por descuido acabei deixando lá e após 3 dias sumiu. Apesar desses inconvenientes continuo indicando o hotel e num possível retorno a Punta Cana voltarei a me hospedar. Read more

"Demora no atendimento medico"
O hotel eh realmente maravilhoso em quase todos os aspectos, as piscinas são realmente maravilhosas, o quarto confortável, porém, achei as camas pequenas. Os restaurantes são bons e diversificados. O único problema que tivemos foi na ultima noite, quando estávamos esperando no hall do restaurante Zen por uma mesa, e nossa filha foi se sentar num sofazinho […] sem encosto (tipo puff), caiu por cima do ombro e fraturou a clavícula. O Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana é daqueles complexos que podem ser visitado como sendo o destino. A praia não é calma para banho, mas mesmo assim é muito linda. Os arredores que conhecemos, fora das divisas do Hotel, não são compatíveis com o que se propõe a oferecer o Resort. Curtir as instalações e as atrações garantem a satisfação da experiência. Esto es un consejo para que no pierdas tiempo. Lo de AI es solo comidas y bebidas en todos lados y de buena calidad, pero nada mas, todo lo demás actividades con o sin motor se pagan. Te dan unos créditos que trata de gastarlos rápido, y no sueñes con la tienda para llevar regalos que te dice que es Bluff, llena de pinturas Haitianas con mal gusto en […] todo. Nos llovió 2 días y no encontrábamos que hacer, no hay suficientes juegos para adultos, la Internet de cobran +30 min. En términos generales el hotel Hard Rock Pta. de Cana cumplio con mis expectativas, yo fui con mi familia (mi esposa y tres hijos, 10, 13 y 15 años) y la pasamos my bien. Algunos detalles a mejorar: - Las cenas especiales (por ejemplo la de langosta), tuvimos que esperar demasiado (más de dos horas para que sirivieran el plato principal, esto también […] ocurrío en la cena del restaurant brasileño: rodizzio). La mayoría de los comentarios con respecto a las cenas especiales siempre es el mismo se tardan demasiado en las cenas. EL único restaurant de mala calidad en los platos es el mexicano, deben cambiar o mejorar los platos, la comida es pésima, en el resto de los restaurantes las comidas son de muy buena calidad - Para los jóvenes entre 13 y 18 años, hay deficiencias en cuanto a diversiones, específicamente después de las 7 de la noche prácticamente no tienen nada que hacer y no hay actividades ni sitios para ellos (deberían habilitarles alguno de los espacios del hotel con música para ellos, una especie de mini discoteca sin consumo de licor). La mayoría de los jóvenes de esta edad, en las noches, trataban de meterse (escabullirse) sin que fuesen vistos por los vigilantes en las fiestas con música y DJ que el hotel organizaba, era bastante cómico, ya que parecía un juego entre el gato y el ratón, cuando los vigilantes se descuidaban, los chicos se metían en las fiestas y luego los vigilantes los sacaban, justamente para evitar esto, lo que debe hacer el hotel es organizarle fiestas similares a los jóvenes entre 13 y 18 años y colocarles un DJ y música y ofrecerle bebidas no alcohólicas - Otra recomendación, como el hotel esta en Dominicana, sería recomendable, que adecuarán un espacio del hotel para que en las noches pongan algo de música latina (algo de merengue y bachatas), entiendo que el hotel es una cadena de Rock, pero llega un momento que el ambiente se pone muy pesado hasta para desayunar escuchas solo rock, de tal forma que por estar en el caribe sería bue Read more

El hotel Hard Rock Punta Cana debe ser el hotel mas grande del caribe. Cuenta con mas de 15 piscinas, mas de 5 restaurantes y una especie de Mall dentro del hotel. Todas las habitaciones tienen jacuzzi y unas camas super comodas, asi como una gran variedad de bebidas alcohicas y refrescantes en el minibar. El casino esta bestial! Al estilo de Las […] Vegas y lo definen como el mas grande del Caribe. Puntos a mejorar: la preparacion del personal. O htel é exelente. O propósito de Punca Cana e permanacer no hotel durante toda a sua hospedagem. Então, ele é a me;hpr opção para isso. É gigante, com uma s8 piscina de frente ao mar, Casino gigante, boate, comida excelente. Room service tb. Obd. Bernardo.

A estrutura do Hotel é muito boa, a maioria dos funcionarios sao muito amaveis, mas nao sao terinados para atender os hospedes. se algo sair diferente do usual, o problema nao sera resolvido. o room service demora 2 horas para chegar, se precisar solicitar alguma coisa, precisa ter muita paciencia. "Muy Bonito El hotel"
En general el hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones y el servicio dentro del hotel es muy bueno. La comida es bastante buena sin embargo no hay ningun restaurante que sea extraordinario en cuanto a los platos que sirven. Por otro lado la comida es bastante variada. Las picinas y la playa estan muy bien cuidadas. El personal es bastante amable.
