Everything about our room met or exceeded our expectations. When we asked for additional bathrobes to go to the hot tub they were promptly delivered. When we had trouble turning on some of the lighting, someone came to the room and showed us how to operate the controls.

This was a pleasant surprise, not your typical two room suite. It included a fully equipped kitchen with a marble bar table. All room furnishings were modern and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when walking into the fully equipped suite with a firplace and all appliances including a washer and drier. Beautifully appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the windows and patio were amazing. Also great soundproofing. Would definitely go back if we are in the area.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite for our stay in Canmore and were given a corner 2 bedroom / 2 bath suite when we checked in! More like a furnished 2 bedroom apartment! The hotel is beautiful and our assigned room was lovely. However there was no balcony or terrace as promised in the confirmation. When I asked for a a room with one I was initially put off while they "checked". Receiving no response, I inquired again, only to be told that "None of our hotel rooms have a balcony--only the one-bedroom suites". When I […] pointed out that our confirmation promised one, they required that I produce the written confirmation (which I fortunately had). They said that they constantly had that problem with Expedia putting that in the confirmations. They grudgingly did upgrade us to a one-bedroom with a lovely balcony. Unfortunately there was a large piece of machinery directly in front of our balcony for the duration of our stay, blocking a portion of our view. The only other complaint is that there is almost no light in the room--two very dim lamps in the bedroom and no overhead or other light. It would be impossible to read. Otherwise no complaints. Beautiful all around. I would stay there again, but I might bring a flashlight if I wanted to read at night. Read more

The 2 bedroom suite was really nice but needed a thorough cleaning, especially the furnace/air conditioner vent and bathroom exhaust fan. The vent was so dirty that from blowing it left dust all over the valance over the window. The staff was really great and responded promptly to all our request. It is a great place to stay and a good value.

We stayed at the Silver Creek Lodge for a trip to Banff (our honeymoon). After a long search for a hote IN Banff, we were frustrated with the costs and lack of amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location of this place. Kaitlin at the front desk checked us in quickly. It is next to the Trans Canada highway, our room was facing the highway and the mountains just after the highway. The view of the mountains was awesome. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Everything was very clean, nicely arranged. It was kind of staying in a one bedroom house. The furnishings were very good. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic utensils, though many of the dishes were stowed in the dishwasher. I was surprised to see that the coffee maker didn't have the carafe, only to found later that it was inside the dishwasher. The parking lot is underground, you need to use your room card to enter the lot. The place is next to some fast food restaurants, and also close to Safeway, Starbucks. Nice pictures of snow-capped mountains can be taken from the Safeway parking lot in the mornings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place. Read more

It was like a condo with everything you need, even a washer/dryer. Great kitchen with nice appliances, lots of storage. Bathroom had a wonderful deep bathtub. Nice indoor parking. Outdoor hot tubs were nice also. Close to a lot of parks and activities, 15 mn from Banff. We felt at home. Will surely go back if we go back in the area.

Very nice stay, room was comfortable and clean. Our only complaint is that the outdoor spas were only lukewarm and were not comfortable enough to use, which was disappointing. After skiing it would have been nice to use them.

My wife and I made a 5 day trip to Banff National Park and I booked the Silver Creek Lodge based on its ratings and affordability. The place was a bit difficult to find initially due to vague directions on both Google Maps and Mapquest but friendly locals pointed the way. The location is right off the TransCanada highway just before you enter the National […] Park and therefore is very convenient and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the Canmore area. The room was a suite with washer dryer, kitchen, and a very classy bathroom with a deep tub and was very nice, with a chic contemporary look. This was basically like staying in a very nice condo for five days. Also, the restaurant, wild orchid, serves delicious Japanese food and I highly recommend it. The only downside to this place was that there was no daily housecleaning, so it really was like staying in a very nice apartment rather than a hotel room. It was great having a washer dryer and we could make our own meals after going shopping at nearby grocery stores. I have no regrets staying in Canmore rather than the overpriced and somewhat run-of-the mill options in Banff itself. Banff is only a short drive away so we never felt far from the action. Overall, this was an excellent choice and we would highly recommend it. Read more

Nice place, very convenient and it couldn't be easier to find. The significant issue for me was the lack of individual thermostats in each room, the temperature is controlled by the hotel itself. In other words whatever the building temperature is set to, that will reflect the temperature of your hotel room. The hotel is gorgeous, however it is situated next to the number 1 highway. So unless you have a room on the opposite side of the building you will hear the highway. Our room was facing the highway and was right under the underground parking entrance; the sound was easily cancelled out by simply closing the windows.

Their restaurant is closed in the morning and I had to walk a few minutes to go get something.
