While the surrounding neigjborhood is in the process of being revitalized, this motel was surprisingly comfortable and quiet. Right next door to a high end restaurant with valet service, I was very pleased with our stay.

The Knight's Inn was a horrid nightmare. The clerk was rude and unprofessional. The rooms were dirty, with stains on the walls, doors and beds. The hotel was in N awkward location when I first pulled in I had no direction I ended up in the back! It was a great price but I see why now the office had a nasty smell in it. There was a communication issue they couldnt really understand! At first, I didn't like the hotel at all. You walk in to the front desk and it smells bad and there are plants over grown everywhere! I was with my one year old son and felt like I needed to go somewhere more... american, i guess. I stayed four days and the maid service only came once. And when they did, they never took out any of the garbage. Diapers […] and take out were overflowing! But, hours after I checked out I remembered I left both of our birth certificates, social security cards, and everything else important in an envelope on the table. I went back and not only did the manager give it right back to me, but I went threw it all very carefully and found that he didn't even open the envelope! The room was filthy. The walls were all chipped and paint was on the floor. The floor doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned. The bathroom floor was so sticky the towel was glued to the floor. The smell was awful. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I was disgusted to say the least.

For a low-budget hotel, I wasn't expecting much, and my expectations were met. The hotel is showing it's age and is not well maintained. The A/C and TV worked, I had hot water, the bed was comfortable and the clerk was nice. Expect more than that and you will not be pleased.

The hotel was falling apart and was full of spiders, silverfish, and roaches. They had no safe available for storing valuable items. The room was filthy on check in. They did not provide shampoo and the linen was dreadful. Floor tiles were falling apart and there were cracks in the wall and ceiling. It was a horrible experience, overall.

The hotel was not as expected. People "HUNG OUT" as if they lived at the hotel and were in their home neighborhood. Which did not leave you feeling safe. Parking was inadquite. The ventalation in the bathroom was uncovered and filled with dust.

I took a road trip from Abilene (where I live) to San Antonio to see my boyfriend graduate BMT at Lackland AFB. Because I was surprised at how soon the graduation had gotten, I looked for short-notice hotel rooms. I would have been staying at the La Quinta except I am not 21 yet, their required age to check-in. The Knights Inn has a lot of tourist sites […] near it, but it was at least a 35 min. drive from the base. I was generally satisfied with the room, seeing as it was much cheaper than my budget. It was not particularly well taken care of or well built, but it was clean and functional. My only complaint is that when I left the hotel at about 7 AM after my stay, the office was locked and closed so I could not check out, which had to be done by 11 AM. I was greatly inconvenienced and had to drive back. I lost over an hour I could have spent doing what I traveled there to do and a lot of gas. Worst experience at a hotel, or probably anywhere. I have never felt so un safe and so uncomfortable. This hotel is in the worst part of town. 2 ladies offered us a trade of some kind of drugs for our puppy. Another guy asked us if we wanted to buy. There as an open condom wrapper on the floor. I cried, I didn't sleep. My fiance and I slept with a pistol […] next to the bed. Well he slept I definietly could not sleep. I do not know what Expedia would have this hotel on their website. I left my sunglasses in the room when we check out. We called and they wouldnt even go check, they said I could come back and check the room if I wanted. I even called at 5 pm and they said the same thing. I was in town for MY bridal shower with my family and I was exhausted the next day from the ordeal. I think we stayed at the wrong side of the neighborhood because the police was there every night, I am not exagerating! I did not felt safe. The room had a strange stank. Who said a picture was worth a thousand words, must not have shopped on line for a hotel room. This hotel was not very clean my kids were afraid to fall asleep in it. We could only stand one night and we had to change hotels. Please observe the two star rating and not the price tag.

The Staff and surrounding neighbors in the area were pleasant and helpful; however, the hotel needed attention. Nothing like advertised. Place was filthy, looked more like the poor side of the getto. Place has NOT been maintained properly. People yelling at 3 in the morning out side my room. At 6 someone was knocking on my room door then ran off. I wouldnt stay their if they payed me to. Never again will I stay their.
