beds were not comfortable, the pillows were tiny and when we called to ask for extra pillows we were told "NO".. twice! The cleaning crew were trying to barge in our room before 8 am while we had 2 babies sleeping....no conditioner in bathroom, breakfast tasted awful..I will never stay at LaQuinta again!

Everything in this hotel is typical LaQ. The reason I would come back is the staff. I truly felt like I was in a private resort based on the staff. The manager was able to offer the exact restaurant s, then the next day addressed me by name as asked how I liked the restaurant. The business center computer was locking u while trying to get my boarding […] pass, he had this printed from the front desk then immediately went to work fixing the problem. There was a young girl wandering the halls of the hotel for the first day of my stay. Not threatening but definitely not right, I told the manager and he found her, and took care to have her removed then told me thank you. We had no intention of staying in Tulsa but we were glad we ended up at the La Quinta Inn. The room was spotless and had room for two adults and a 80 pound black lab. Second stay at this hotel. Very easy access and hotel well maintained. Room is comfortable for price. Airport shuttle service awful -- waited ad hour for pickup and when shuttle serivce didn't show, they finally sent a decrepit, tobacco stinking cab with driver who tried to stick me with fare and then charge the hotel. Check in and check out were very quick and easy with friendly staff. My room was in excellent repair with furnishings that were very tasteful. The bed was slightly soft for my preference but I slept well. I would happily stay here again.

In a terrible part of town. The front desk had to let you in with a buzzer. It took an 1 1/2 hours to check in. Yes I said One Hour and a half. The staff was completely inept. The manager had to be called in at midnight to replace the night manager. I usually disregard comments about "the neighborhood is bad etc.". But in this case, you should make a note of it. There are absolutely NO good places within the vicinity to eat. I asked the front clerk what restaurants were available nearby . Although the hotel was nice, the reservation was not properly honored by the hotel. They did not hold the rooms we booked with Expedia. The hotel manager simply didn't care and said it was our tough luck. That's a horrid response and I am extremely dissappointed in the lack of coordination between Expedia and the hotel chain to hold specific rooms booked […] on-line. I booked the hotel for a specific purpose. To be close to the airport so I could catch an early flight. I did not have the option of traveling to a secondary LaQuinta to remedy the issue. I had pre paid for the room months ago when I made the booking. I arrived at 1am and was told I could not check in without putting a credit card on file with atleast $150 available. I was initially worried about this because it was cheaper than the other ones in this same area (I have been burned by going with the cheapest on the list before) but this hotel was very nice! It was clean and we felt safe staying there. We did not get a chance to use the pool or work out facility but we saw them both and they looked very nice.

For early morning flights, this is a good choice. But van service begins tat 6 am, whereas neighboring motel has 24 hour service. Food choices in the area are few, except for fast food chains.
