Everything about our stay at Hotel Ares Eiffel was fantastic! Our room was a bit crunched but we had two adults and two kids and luggage and...well, you get the picture. "Well Appointed, Lovely Hotel!"
We spent 3 nights there earlier this week and had a wonderful stay. The room was gorgeous, every last detail was thought of. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. We're already looking forward to our next stay there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, Very Comfortable"
The hotel was located within 3-4 blocks of the Eiffel Tower surrounded by brasseries, pastry shops, Starbucks, etc. The room was very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable and the shower amenities were very nice, i.e. Hermes. The room was very clean and everything functioned properly. When I asked for dinner recommendations, I didn't necessarily […] find the suggestions helpful as they didn't fit my family's needs but this was minor. I did not have breakfast at the hotel because, frankly, 18 euros for breakfast was expensive for the offering. (The breakfast was very basic in its offering.) Overall, great stay! Staff was very nice, always greeting us when we left and returned. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Outstanding hotel. Nicest hotel in the Eiffel Tower neighborhood from what we have seen. Very friendly and helpful staff. They will take excellent care of you. We will return for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The lady who works the front desk was a sweetheart! Very helpful with everything! I would stay there again. If it is you first trip to Europe, you will be scared when you first arrive. Don't worry, this hotel is super safe, and the staff is very friendly. The Hotel is very typical of European hotels as far as size.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice rooms, friendly staff."
Stayed there for 4 nights, had a great time. The hotel looked like it was renovated, the lobby and the rooms were all nicely furnished. The staff was very accommodating.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. A charming place in a great neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Such a nice hotel with nice folks. We had a balcony with a partial view of the Eiffel Tower. There is free wifi to keep in touch with home. The room was clean and comfortable. A must stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location, tiny room"
This hotel offers a nice lobby area, excellent staff and the personalized service of a boutique hotel. The rooms are extremely small, your luggage more likely won't fit. Pack light, the location, restaurants in the area and access to all the main attractions of the city are great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Very Friendly Staff at Hotel Ares Eiffel..."
The staff at the Ares was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was updated, clean and everything was in good order. I was by myself and didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it was perfect for me but some may have found it a little cramped. I'd say the room is probably about 10'x12' with a small entryway and a bathroom that is about 8' […] x 10' with a tub, shower and a double basin vanity. The location is convenient to shopping, cafe's, the metro, the Eiffel Tower and if you don't mind walking ta bit o many other tourist attractions. I would definitely stay there again. "Best Hotel EVER!"
We had a great time in Paris and Hotel Ares was one of the reasons. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. Hotel was super clean & the staff was superb and it was so quit at night. The best hotel I have ever stayed. Thanks Hotel Ares, look forward to staying again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Can't swing a cat in the rooms"
I have never stayed in that small a hotel room!!! We could barely fit the luggage in the room with us. The decor is great and looks beautiful in the photos but the size of the room made it very inconvenient. The room became super hot over night, and between the sound of other hotel guests arriving back at 1:00 am and the sound of the trucks outside, […] we didn't sleep very well! "Value wasn't there for price"
Upon check in, I presented my Expedia Elite card but it was immediately dismissed, it was almost laughable. Beautifully decorated small boutique hotel and rooms, however, this was the smallest room we have stayed at while visiting Paris. The toilet was in what appeared to be a small closet (no sink or bidet). Bed, sheets and bathroom were quite comfortable. Sadly, […] the walls are paper thin. We heard EVERYTHING –every text, phone call, chairs dragging on wood floors all around us, children playing outside early am (must be a school nearby.) Bed slippers and Hermes toiletries offered, although - no robe. Tiny closet. My only request from the front desk was for wash cloths. I was told that ‘they don’t use those things in Paris’ (not a necessary comment especially from an international hotel) but we ultimately did receive our cloths. Climate control was out of our control. Although we had a thermostat, our friends called down to ask about the air and were told that the hotel didn't offer air conditioning, since it was ‘winter.’ I think the hotel shuts down the units at night despite your setting – there was undoubtedly no air circulation at night. No door man or assistance with luggage. This is typically fine with me, however, on every floor, there are a few small spiraling steps before the elevator= small challenge. You need to navigate your luggage up the steps, into a small elevator. Not easy to hail a taxi and/or for taxi’s to locate the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The Hotel Ares staff and facilities were wonderful! The staff was very gracious and helpful, the building and rooms were beautiful. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is very conveniently located only a few blocks from the LaMotte Picquet Grenelle subway station where you can easily catch a subway and be anywhere within Paris in minutes. Near the hotel […] are a number of cafe's which offer wonderful dining options at reasonable prices. The hotel is also near a number of small grocery stores and fruit markets which give you the option of purchasing fresh fruit or other items you may need. On Wednesdays, there is an open air market near the subway that you can experience. We had a wonderful stay and would definately recommend the Hotel Ares to friends going to Paris! First time to Paris and couldn't have had a better experience. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and everything we had hoped forGenuine Expedia guest review
Gret lcation near the Eifeel Tower and the metro. the staff was very helpfull and friendly -- couldn't do enough to help. Staff has excellent Engish skills if that is a concern for you. Rates were very reasonable and we felt we got good value for the money. Because the hotel has gotten such excellent reviews, rooms are looking a little worn. Not much […] storage space to unpack --especially if you are on a lng trip. Bathrooms do not have much count3r space in comparison to american hotels so that presented challenges as well. Free use of a gym just around the corner, free wifi. for us, they kept two bags in storage while we went off for a 6 day bike trip and then came back to stay for another night. We would definitely go back again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient location in a quiet area"
Stayed there for a week. It is located within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and some of the other sites. Surroundings are relatively quiet. Plenty of restaurants and groceries in the area. Room was clean. Bathroom clean with adequate hot water pressure. Small cupboard refrigerator not terribly functional. Reception doubles as Concierge. Daytime […] employees more knowledgeable and friendly. Incoming faxes/emails do not always reach the intended guest-especially if these arrive during nighttime. If you forget a personal item behind in your room-retrieval not guaranteed. No opinion on breakfast. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beware of sofa bed!"
We selected the rate choice on hotels.com for 3 adults. The triple accommodation included a king size bed and a twin size fold out sofa bed. The mattress was thin with springs visibly pushing through the surface. It curled up on it's own. Needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable. For $500 per night and a booking of a 3 person accommodation, I […] had fully expected a mattress that was far better than this. Otherwise the hotel was quiet and clean enough. It is about 3 blocks from the metro and a good 15-20 minute walk from the Eiffel tower, which cannot be seen from the hotel. Their concierge assistance is limited. The room was cold, but we were told the heat hadnt been turned on yet because the weather had recently changed. The front desk suggested that we "close our door" if we were cold. Seriously? One more note of caution, be sure to get detailed directions. The directions they sent us concluded with "walk to the hotel from the metro station". I wrongly inferred that the hotel would be visible from the station or at least easily findable. We walked for 45 minutes, asking 4 different people along the way for help, all sending us in the wrong direction. It is on a small street, not well know to even local business people, so was really hard to find. It seemed that the french didn't want to admit they didnt know where something was, but would prefer to point us in a direction and appear confident. Not easy with luggage. "Hotel Ares Eiffel"
The staff was mostly super- very friendly and helpful-especially Julianna- but all were very nice. The lone exception was the lady who ran the breakfast room. She was not exactly a ray of sunshine and I'll leave it at that. There were three of us in our room and my chair that made into a bed was not very comfortable- but I got by okay. The bathroom […] was small but very modern and clean. The location is near the metro and several restaurants and only about a mile or so from the Eiffel Tower. Hotel guests get to work out in a nearby gym only a block away and the gym has good facilities including steam room. The hotel breakfast buffet is all-you-can-eat and drink for 18 Euros. Not the best I have had but considering the high prices in Paris, not a bad deal. They could improve the buffet with fresh cut fruit instead of the fruit in light syrup and the eggs could have been better. I realize that Paris is an expensive city so you have to take this into consideration to give a fair rating and I believe the hotel is decent for the money. The highlight of my experience was the friendly and helpful staff. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect Stay in Paris"
We stayed at Hotel Ares in August 2013 and had a wonderful stay. The staff were beyond reproach, always friend, helpful, informative and assistive. From check-in to check-out they helped us around Paris, knew the answer to all our questions and made getting around Paris a piece of cake. An Expedia Plus upgrade was available and we were in Room 702 on […] the top floor. The room was exquisitely presented with Versace tile, Hermes products (generously provided), and lovely view to the interior courtyard which looked quintessentially Parisian. A large soaking bath and rainwater shower were a pleasure after a long day of walking around. There is an eccentric and arty sitting area off the lobby with books, newspapers, magazines and a computer available for use. The location was perfect for us; a short walk to the Eifel Tower (15 minutes), and the La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle subway station is less than 5 minutes away with easy access to M6, M8, and M10. There is also a taxi/cab rank by the subway, along with a number of restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour. "Nice hotel close to Eiffel Tower"
This hotel was in a nice location just a short distance walk from the Eiffel Tower. It was in a quiet neighborhood. It was also super close to the metro, Starbucks, Haagen daz, and eateries. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ares in Paris. The people were so nice and helpful, the room elegant. "Perfect Location in Paris"
Great hotel right by the Eiffel tower and 2 min walk from the metro station. From the metro you can pretty much go to all the main sites you need to see in Paris very easily. Right next to the hotel there are a ton of restaurants and little shops. Also there is a starbucks right there by the metro which is convenient. The hotel itself is very small […] compared to a new hotel but it is expected for a hotel in Paris. The rooms are literately big enough for the bed and there is a bathroom that is it. You can fit a total of 3 shirts in the closet is absolutely tiny. Also the toilet is in a separate tiny room not connected to the main bathroom which is a tad weird since you have to go in a separate room to wash your hands. The room is furnished with nice higher end type furniture and a very comfortable bed but you could see a little wear on them. Overall its a great hotel for Paris but its defiantly not the cheapest option. I guess for the price I paid I expected more but then again I guess that is what I get for staying in Paris in July during the peak of the tourist season. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The staff was awesome!! The room was clean and for most part was very comfortable. The AC wasn't that great but we were there when very hot. "A wonderful stay for a quick trip!"
We had just two days to experience Paris. But this hotel made our quick trip so lovely. We were surprised when the receptionist informed us that we arrived on a National Holiday and that there would be a firework show at the Eiffel Tower! What an amazing experience we were surprised with on our arrival. The hotel is just a few short blocks from the […] tower being visible and a really relatively short walk to actually get there. While we were in Paris we did do a tour of the Eiffel Tower, The Moulin Rouge Dinner Show and we did the Red Bus Hop On/Hop Off transportation. Unfortunately, we had decide to go to The Louvre on Tuesday to only realize when we arrived that it is closed on Tuesdays. It was our only mistake and disappointment of the trip. The hotel is located by many nice street side cafes and it is easy to walk to many destinations or use the public train (which we did use to get to Montmarte and The Louvre). The front desk was always helpful to give us pointers and directions to anything we needed. I would definitely choose to stay here again or recommend it to any one. We stayed 7days this month and could not have had a better experience. Prior to our arrival, I corresponded with the manager by email and her responses were always prompt, helpful and accurate. Upon arrival, we could not have been more pleased with our choice. The hotel was located in a great neighborhood, minutes from The Eiffel Tower, metro and numerous […] shops and restaurants. EVERYTHING you could want was easily within a short walking distance including a laundromat. The hotel was beautiful and exceptionally clean. We had an executive room for one adult and two kids and had more than enough space in the generously sized room. From the moment we arrived, each person we met was extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel seemed to have been recently renovated and the bathrooms were gorgeous! The staff was helpful in every way. They gave us directions whenever we needed and suggestions on local events that we would otherwise have not been aware of. One afternoon in a terrible thunderstorm, my son lost his phone and I went out looking for it. Unknown to me, the front desk person came out after I left the hotel and on my way back I found her looking for the phone on the streets in a complete downpour. And speaking of rain, the nice touch of all of the hotel umbrellas at the front door always came in handy. The kids loved the computer in the library!
