"Could have been better."
Location of the hotel was great - walking distance to Eiffel Tower, restaurants and shops around the corner. The hotel provided you with a complementary gym pass which was around the corner - nice gym. Taxi drivers had a hard time finding hotel, do not know why. I would have loved to have more assistance in confirming my reservations. I felt that the […] front desk could have been more helpful specially since I do not speak French too well. The breakfast provided for a fee could have been better. I actually did not buy breakfast at the hotel because the selection was too limited. Instead I went to the Starbucks around the corner and bought breakfast cheaper and better. Lastly, I would have preferred for the front desk to be more friendly. I sometimes felt i was bothering them with my questions. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent hotel with a wonderful staff"
We stayed for five nights in an executive room and had an excellent experience overall. Two things were annoying, but not worth taking off a star: On two occasions, the water pressure would regularly go in and out in the shower. Sort of annoying, but not enough to make a big deal about it. I would also avoid the continental breakfast; for 18 euros, […] it's incredibly underwhelming. A much better breakfast can be had at any number of cafes within a few minutes walk. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Pick this hotel you won't regret it"
This is a great hotel with a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We skipped the breakfast with the room to save on cost. There's a Starbucks right around the corner, and plenty of cafes near by to grab food.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful boutique hotel"

"Christmas in Paris"
Hotel Ares was a great place to stay on our visit to Paris. Not only is it beautiful and clean; but they people working there were fantastic. They were really friendly and helped us navigate through Paris and there was always someone at the front desk. The hotel in in walking distance to the Tour Eiffel and close to great places to eat. The hotel is […] in walking distance of their Metro, which I highly recommend using, as it is cheaper than cabs. The room was lovely with Versace bathrooms. The only reason I gave the comfort of the room a 4 is because it was smaller than I am use too, but still very cozy. We had a great week there and I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again, as it is close to everything. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for a couple"
Superb hotel - small. Loved the Hermes Bath products. Disliked the gentleman at the front desk (so rude and unpleasant). The 2 ladies were wonderful. The lady in the breakfast area was also super nice. Lovely stay, we'll be back again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was great. Everyone who works was wonderful, especially Julianne!! They all spoke english and the location was great!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel close to the Eiffel Tower"
A very nice hotel, though a little pricey, but that is to be expected in Paris and so close to the Eiffel Tower. We were on the 6th floor and were able to just see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony of our room. The room was a bit small (again to be expected in Paris) but if you are there to see the sights you won't be spending much time in […] there anyway. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and actually well sized. Staff was great, they welcomed us to Paris and recommended some wonderful food our first night. We forgot to book a shuttle to the airport until 11PM the night before we left and they were able to get us a shuttle for 7:30AM the next morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Excellent, would stay here again. Was upgraded for free upon arrival and our room was ready when we arrived at 10am. Helpful staff who spoke English, near metro and a 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Great cafes and Starbucks just around the corner. Very clean, modern hotel with comfy bed. Absolutely would stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Attractive, quiet, convenient, clean!"
This hotel is very convenient , and in a pleasant "normal" (not touristy) neighborhood. The Metro (with several lines) is close-by, as well as a Monoprix (for water, pastries, etc.), and a Starbucks. The hotel is very quiet, and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is more expensive than going to a nearby cafe, but has excellent choices […] in a pleasant room. Walking to the Eiffel Tower takes about 20 minutes. The rooms are small but very clean. Beautiful decor in pleasant colors. Caveat: be aware of the shower. It's not clear how to switch the handle to activate either the (directly) overhead showerhead or the hand-held shower, and you might get a cold dousing. But the bath products are really nice. "Great small Paris hotel"
Hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a little small, but decorated very well. Bed was very comfortable, we could control the temperature in the room and furnishings very new, modern and clean!! The bathroom was great! Staff were helpful about most things, but could be more knowledgable about some better restaurants. I would consider staying here […] when back in Paris. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Def going back here! Great location. You get the Paris charm with the decor. Great Hotel staff as well!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Loved our stay !!!"
This is an absolutely chic hotel with staff who was not only friendly and helpful but always looked out for their guests. The location is close to Eiffel tower(7-10min easy stroll), Metro station and cafes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is located in a lovely residential area that was ideal due to its proximity to the Eiffel Tower (about a 10 minute walk) as well as the Metro, which is only a block away. We thought the location was ideal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was immaculate and the bathroom was terrific with all high-line cosmetics. The […] only criticism, as is often the case in Europe, was the room was very small with little closet space. We would definitely return to this hotel on our next stay in Paris. "Can't Say Enough Good Things!"
What an awesome place! Staff, especially Juliana, were superbly helpful. All desk staff spoke English, knew local transportation, recommendations for dining. Extremely clean, modern, bright bathroom was impressive (contrasting with the more classic style of the room). Note - Queen room very small, not much room to move around, but that is typical of […] Paris, as I understand (didn't spend much time in room, anyway). Location is just a bit out of the heavy tourist area (even though hotel is only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower), which was great - you get a flavor of local Paris life. Neighborhood seemed very safe, even late night we were walking the neighborhood without reservation. Extra perk - the bed was quite noticeably comfortable. To be fair - it can be a bit noisy at times (shower and crying baby next room, and some street noise in the am (school nearby), but frankly it was only occasional and did not disturb us at all. Can't say enough good things about the place - highly recommended! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Room was noisy. Constantly moving furniture in the room above. Dreadful location. Only close to Eiffel Tower but away from great shops, stores, cafes. Do not stay here. You will regret it.Genuine Expedia guest review
A bit hard to find but worth Looking for. Everything about this hotel is first class from the staff to the owner to the amenities. Worth the money! Would stay again!! NGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel very near Eiffel Tower!"
Nice decor, modern, clean rooms although a bit small for two adults and one child (daughter slept on the fold out bed). Rooms though in Paris are small to begin with unless you are wiling to pay 'a lot' of money. This room was expensive by our standards but worth the price given the short walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great for couples"
It is so well located being in the heart of the city, close to everything, including metro, yet tucked away from the city noise. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. It is a cozy, luxury boutique hotel. Our room was tiny, but comfortable and nicely appointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. The location is great, and we walked everywhere. We were staying here seven years ago before remodeling, but we enjoyed our stay even then. We had a room with a queen bed.. The room was small, but still big enough . We had breakfast in the hotel couple of times. It wasn't cheap, but worth the money, […] because we tried to go somewhere else and it was not worth it. With the family of four the cost does add up though. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to metro, away from the crowds"
It was great. I was disappointed with two things. I dropped my pen under the bed, and looked there. It was ousy with crumbs. But the room was very clean. Buffet maid and night time service desk was not professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Nice Place w/ Friendly & Accommodating Staff"
Comfortable hotel, quiet & safe with nice amenities. Ideally located near Paris Metro access locations. Many local food venues to choose from. Within easy walking distance to many of Paris' idyllic locations. Very helpful hotel staff who were genuinely warm & friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place for a family"
hotel and staff were outstanding. the location was great--close to metro and restaurants. the hotel was a very parisian experience and what a treat to walk to the eiffel tower and the champs.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location for UNESCO meetings"
Great location with lots of restaurant and metro options near by. Easy access to UNESCO meetings and enjoying the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast for 18 euros seems steep when there are many cafe and bakery options just a block away. The rooms are comfortable, lobby is chic, and staff is relatively pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great 4-star hotel"
The hotel definitely lives up to its 4 star rating.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect Location - close to Metro & Eiffel Tower"
This was my first trip to Paris, so I was a bit surprised by the size of the room - and the fact that this was the largest room they had. There was 4 of us, and the extra beds were curious fold out beds. Good thing I raised my kids to make the best of the situation - we laughed about it and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is beautiful, clean, […] and is a fantastic location. The internet access was a bit sketchy, but they admitted they were having equipment issues at the time. We skipped their breakfast (though it looked beautiful) and ate at the nearby coffee shops - at least 6 are nearby, including a Starbucks if you crave American coffee. The metro station had 3 train options, which made it very easy to get anywhere, and the train system is superb. All in all, we were very happy with our stay. But I would never have more than two people in a room there. If you are trying to save money (which we were not) you might check out the Ramada on Grinnell, just around the corner. "Better than perfect"
Great Hotel in a great location. Staff was extremely helpful and accomodating to my requests. If you use the minibar, they will charge you basically the charege for one drink, but you can drink everything in stock. I thought that was a refreshing change from mini bar gouging. I checked in super early due to my international flight time arriving so early, […] and they were actually excited when they found out there was a room available for me. Terrific change from large chains that do not care about their customers. I will stay there every time I visit Paris. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Service and Great Location"
The service of the hotel was awesome. The owners of the hotel warmly greeted us and helped us. The location couldn't be better. t's just around the corner to the metro and the Eiffel Tower. "great location, great boutique comfort."
Extremely convenient access to/from CDG. Right next to the Metro line 6 which connects to the RER line. Though very close to the Tour Eiffel, the neighborhood immediately around the hotel is not as touristy. I found the local bistros to be very good quality, and, with a short walk (15 minutes) across the park, you can visit one Chef Constant's restaurants […] for something a little more chic. There's even a Starbuck's around the corner for an American feel and wifi access. The rooms are exactly what I like: a little small with the right attention to detail. Great showers, enough closet space, nice beds, et cetera. I will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful neighborhood, and quiet!"
Great boutique hotel -- Away from the overwhelming crowds in the rest of Paris. Will definitely come back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Amazing hotel for Paris! Beautifully decorated rooms, with comfortable beds, fair amount of space, amazing shower (with shampoo and soap), hair dryer, closet, and a safe in each room. Easy access to metro and walking distance from the Eiffel tower! Plus it is in a quiet neighborhood, but still has nice cafes within walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is located in a terrific area filled with restaurants that are 'local'. Plenty to pick from near the Metro stop 2 blocks away. The rooms in the hotel are "Parisian small" though my complaint about the hotel is noise. Plenty of it. I am not including the construction (not their fault) across the street, but the noise that comes from the adjoining […] rooms. You can hear everything that is happening. So be prepared to wake when your neighbor has a 4am pick up. Staff was terrific and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, clean, comfortable and friendly!"
This hotel is on a quiet street, but it is quite close to a Metro station, a good selection of cafes and shops, and just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Our room was not large, but typical for European hotels, and it was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-furnished. This hotel more than exceeded my expectations. It is the epitome of a boutique Paris hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke english. Very convenient to Eiffel Tower and restaurants. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for an authentic Parisian experience. By the way, we were three and the room was adequate for us.Genuine Expedia guest review
but not quite extraordinary. Rooms really are small - we had to upgrade to have enough space for two people to work - that was another 100 euro - very expensive and the room - although lovely - didn't have a tub. Service mostly very helpful but room service not available before 5 or late evening. Also, would really have appreciated robes in the room! "Great hotel for the price"
Great location; friendly & helpful staff; comfortable room, if a bit small, but hey it's Europe. How many hotel rooms have you stayed at that had a Versace plaque on the bathroom wall tile? Easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and many restaurants. Will definitely stay here again upon our return to Paris.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A Perfect Paris Hotel"
The location of this boutique hotel was perfect....about a block from the Eiffel Tower. Also, if you'll be using the double-decker Rouge Bus to get around Paris as we did, the bus pick up is right in front of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is just beautiful and pristine. Two lovely ladies greeted us as we walked in with a chipper "Bon Jour". We communicated […] in English with them (thank goodness as we speak no French). Our room on the 7th floor was impeccable and charming and overlooked an appealing courtyard. The bedroom was stunning and so beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very upscale and wonderful! We looked forward to heading back to the room after our long sight seeing days. I should also point our that less than half a block away is a group of streets with the most wonderful cafes...one after the other. Bakery shops are also there with delectable pastries and coffee. For the American in you, there is a McDonald's on the same street. I can not say enough about this hotel. We loved it and should we visit Paris, there is no where else that we would stay!
