Right next to the Cebu airport. You can have your head on a pillow in 10 minutes after leaving the airport. Rooms are in need of a renovation and the sheets need replacing. Room was clean. Staff friendly. If you want to get to a reasonably priced bed quickly after a long flight, this works.

We were very disappointed, aside from the very musty, moldy smell of the inside of the hotel and everywhere in the hotel, our first night they put us in a handicap room with safety bars everywhere, shower with no curtain, just imagine taking showers you'll create literally flooding in the bathroom. The moldy smell in the room and hallways almost take […] your breath away. Breakfast has limited items and the service is fair ie. running out plates. You get your own coffee and literally have to clear your own table. The only thing positive with our stay was the location of the hotel, across the international airport. The lobby is very nice. Front desk is professional and efficient. The rooms, especially the carpet, need upgrading, but are still comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice. I have stayed at the Waterfront hotels on many occasions over the last several years. This visit will be my last time I patronize this chain. I had spent the previous week at the hotel before taking a side trip to bohol. Upon returning via ferry, my room room as not yet ready, so to kill some time I decided to go to a local mall. I went outside to get a taxi, and requested one. Several seconds later, two Korean businessmen with suits and ties walked out . When the taxi arrived, the bellman shielded me from getting in, allowing the Koreans to have the taxi. I felt like I was in the American South in the 1950s. It was overt racism of the worst kind. I completely lost my temper. The bellman made some completely idiodic excuse, but the bottom line is that Asians, especially Koreans, are more valued and important customers than Americans and will get preferrence in the eyes of the staff. In the future, I will look for a hotel that treats all of their guests with the same courtesy. Read more

I was concerned that we would listen to airplanes across the street. We only heard them when we were outside, and even then, not often. I wouldn't take any money into the casino unless I was prepared to part with it. I didn't see anyone on a winning streak like you frequently see in Vegas or Atlantic City. The Hotel is located right across the street from I T Park which has plenty of food options. A short taxi ride to the mall. The hotels has concerts every week which are pretty decent. They just need to upgrade their rooms. A flat screen tv goes a long way.

Our family arrived late from the airport Christmas Night and we were certainly tired. The Staff upgraded us to an Executive Suite which was very nice. The Waterfront has the makings to be a truly fabulous hotel. There are things that could be improved that stand in it's way for that to be a reality. One that stood out was a huge gap of the glass shower […] doors which resulted in a big puddle in the bathroom. Cleaning up water with our towels late at night was not what I had in mind. I think that having 3 prong electrical outlets (grounded) thinking safety here, would be something I would also expect from a top hotel. Waterfront has superb ambiance and we interacted with very polite staff when we had any problem. The two complimentary buffet breakfasts were the great surprise! I have stayed numerous times at this place and never had a reason to complain. This time I stayed several times in their "Executive suite" The first night I saw that the previous guest had put some tape around the shower head and written a warning on it. I reported this to the reception and they promised that their "Engineering Department" would take […] care of it. The next day the steel shower head popped off and hit me on my head like a projectile. It still had the tape with the warning from the previous guest and I tried to talk to the manager to find out why my complaint was ignored. The manager was always unavailable and I never got an answer to my question. On the other side this is a very nice hotel with a nice breakfast and dinner buffet. I like the stylish decoration and the atmosphere. My flight was at 2 am in the morning and since this place is just across the street I was able to check in at 10 pm, get a boarding pass and go back to my room for another nap. Read more

This is the second time staying in this hotel due to the convenience of it being next to the airport. They have to coach the front desk personal to be more friendly and helpful. Except for getting a little tired, with ancient televisions, rotten cable reception, and a horrible view, this hotel delivers what is intended, which is a convenient location for the airport. It is comfortable, decently priced, and courteously staffed. The casino isn't much, but its the place to stay to fit in with a tight flight schedule.

This might have once been a fine hotel but no longer. Hotels.com and others advertise high def tv in room...our room had an old 19 inch crt tv with iffy service. There is wifi in the room but it's so slow most times to almost be un-useable. We asked for a nonsmoking room and maybe it is now but the carpet had cigarette burns in it and the carpet was […] also worn and had tears. The bathroom was nice and the staff tries to be attentive but there are better places to stay. Food is overpriced and average in quality for this area. Very Nice Hotel. They charge a surcharge if you bring food into the Hotel from any place... Pizza Hut, etc. Suits are very large but you need to be selective because some smell of mold. No motorbike rentals here and a car will cost you very much.

The staff is pleasant and accomodating and I actually stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks in 2010. During all of my stays, there was a lack of towels after room cleaning. I needed to make several calls to the front desk to get towels delivered. Room serivce was spotty with parts of orders missing, plus order portions varied widely for the same item. The […] in-room refrigerator needs replacement as it couldn't keep anything cold. Requests for repairs got me a maintenance "engineer" that claimed the refrigerator cold not keep things cold because there were too many drinks inside (ridiculous). Breakfast buffet on the 1st morning (9 am) revealed most food trays completely empty. For a buffet that seats over 100 people, it was shocking to find empty platters. Other days, the platters were well filled. Service and quality of food is mediocre at best. Overall, the hotel location remains a draw to me, but the hotel facilities need a serious renovation.
