The management is very professional and welcoming. The rooms supply all your needs, fridge, aircon, microwave, plasma t.v. Updated bathroom. Could use better lighting in bathroom for mirror. Pool kept nice and clean. My room was on the ground floor near the office and the maintenance closet so it was a little noisy but overall it is quiet. Is a short walk to the boardwalk. We never used our car. This was the second time we were there. It's like a Hyundai. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Enjoyed the stay. Only having stayed at many Courtyard facilities, I was a little disappointed not to find a frig, micro etc, in the room. Bathroom sink area a bit smaller than most. Other wise a nice stay.

"17th Birthday in Santa Cruz"
Took my Daughter and her friends to Santa Cruz for an over- night birthday. This hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly, the girls loved the breakfast!!! The Only thing, I wish it was closer to the beach. Next time I will check that out more closely before booking. All in All it was very clean, and staff was friendly.

This hotel was true to the reviews I had read before booking. Very clean, comfortable, modern and convenient. The breakfast was extremely good as well. Would recommend.

Hard to see the hotel from the street until you've passed it. Need a taller sign or something. The room was extremely nice and clean, but the view was non existent, unless you call looking out the window at the business next door's dumpster. We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast was great, the staff friendly and courteous, and even though the hotel is on a major street next to the freeway we couldn't hear any noise. This is a newer hotel and everything about it is nice!! Enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again! It has vaulted ceiling, new bathroom appliances, and updated decor! Staff were friendly and everything was very clean!! The hotel is in a good location as well!

You know what you are going to get. I've stayed in these Holiday Inn's before and will continue. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean and spotless. Better than a continental breakfast and reasonably priced. I've only had to stay one night and I'm quite satisfied.

We had a lot on our schedule for this weekend and your staff made our stay relaxing and efficient. The continental breakfast had a great selection and the connivence kept us on track and more importantly on time.
We took a short weekend trip to Santa Cruz...would have preferred something closer to the beach, but overall the hotel was a nice experience. The continental breaklfast was very good, clean rooms, and for being so close to freeway and busy street it was pretty quiet. Would stay again.

This was a great hotel with great staff! The ONLY negative I would say is that on the first floor it is EXTREMELY noisy so if you are going for quiet stay on the upper floors.

We stayed for one night while in town to attend a memorial service. The front desk was super helpful with directions, especially with protests blocking streets and they were able to provide alternate routes for us to get around. The building is pretty new and thus, everything was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the parking garage […] spaces are very, very narrow. I drive a Volvo station wagon and parked next to a regular sedan-style car and had to let my passenger out before parking, then wedge myself out of the car. Great service, comfortable and clean, surrounding area isn't that pretty but it's close to the beach and the boardwalk and UC Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College if you have a car. Watch out for tight parking spaces in the garage

Everything was exceptional, from the moment we arrived. Very friendly reception, the room was ready early, there was underground parking, the room was large and very quiet, the shower nozzle was high (great for taller folks), and breakfast was better than the usual run-of-the-mill fare, with pretty good variety and a cool pancake maker.
