"Annual Father's Day getaway."
2nd annual Father's Day weekend:) My wife and 6 kids travel to Dave and busters and do six flags and wildwood is our #1 pick.we could stay next door to Dave and busters or six flags but its well worth the drive to wildwood were its super clean and awesome suites.

"Great Stay"
We really enjoyed our stay there! Would stay there again. Clean. Good Breakfast. Across the street from the police station. Stores nearby in case you forgot something or need to pick something up.

"Yes, stay here, you will love it!"
We will not stay anywhere but the Wildwood when we visit the St. Louis area. It's not cheap, but it is very quiet. There is a police station less than a block away! There is a movie theater right next to the hotel.

Nice hotel in safe area (Police Station right across the street) close to restaurants and grocery store. Pool a little small. Breakfast was good too. I would stay there again. Nice that they have covered parking too.

"Wildwood"
Me and my husband stayed for only one night and I wish we could have stayed longer! The neighborhood was adorable and so was the hotel. Shortly after we arrived they called to make sure everything was ok and asked if we needed anything. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had all we needed

"A Great Stay!"
We needed a place to stay the night before we moved out of town. This hotel was exceptional for comfort, cleanliness and friendliness! The pool/hot tub area was a highlight for our son! We even took in s movie at the theatre right across the street from the hotel! If we ever have a chance to return to St Louis, this hotel will be our choice to stay!

"Awesome beds, manageable drive to downtown"
Took a weekend getaway to St. Louis. Girlfriend and I both agreed that the bed was amazingly comfortable. It's about a 40 minute drive from downtown STL, which is manageable, and it's in a pretty quiet area which was nice. The only problem we had was the "blackout" curtain couldn't be closed all the way, so we had one sliver of bright morning sun coming through earlier than we wanted to wake up. Overall, I'd really recommend it.

"Tiny but clean"
After a week stay at a condo stayed here with my kids (2) and wife.... Small room, clean but fridge was off so it was full of water, my bed was soaking wet had to put my bathroom towels on it to sleep.... The breakfast they provide was well stocked and fresh , for free you can't complain about taste to much. Centered in a small plaza with police and local businesses it was extremely quiet and clean!

"Horrible Experience!"
Not good!!!! We booked at least a month ahead- got in at 830pm on a Wednesday- they put us on the second floor- next to the linen closett!!! How do I know- the maids cart woke us up every morning( oh and the hotel wasn't at full occupancy at the time)-and we could hear the guests above us every morning!!! The next day- our keys were inactive- and we get asked how long we were staying again??? (We had booked 3 nights?!!!- and prepaid!!!) the maid did very little- we ended up after the 3 days at a lower rated drury( it was older )- they allowed us to check in early - the maid had her name if we needed anything- the tv had a guide so we knew what was on and it was cheaper( same amenities as wildwood?!!!) we were on the 1rst floor and could NOT heareveryone above us!!!! This is the second booking ( wildwood hotel) thru hotel.com and the second lousiest stay( the other was in Chicago! And our room got bumped and we waited 4 hours for a rollaway bcause like the wildwood- I booked 2queen beds and both hotels gave me a king?!!!)- I'm not really going to try to keep booking thru hotels.com just for a free room after 4 more visits?!! You owe me that for the lousy 2 you've booked!!!!!!! This trip was booked so that I could officiate a wedding for a friend and see doctors- I come back now 2 times a year-(family/friends)- but unless hotels.com does something for me- good luck that I'll go thru them AGAIN?!!!

"A week in the STL area"
The room was never stocked with toilet paper, plus there was no ironing board. I asked the front desk and he replied" we do not have any available." He said he would call room services and I waited two days with no reply. I asked another front desk attendant and within 10 minutes he produced an ironing board. Very disappointed with the hotel in general.

"Will keep going back"
This is my go-to hotel whenever I am in St Louis. They treat you like a millionaire the moment you step in the door. Continental breakfast is only so-so, but there is a high end grocery store and a Starbucks within walking distance. As a female traveler I feel very safe in the neighbor hood, and the police dept is right across the street.

"Inexpensive Gem of a Suburban Hotel"

"R & R success"
The only thing that was a downer for me was the pool is only four feet deep and too shallow for water aerobic exercises I do for my arthritis. It is a perfect pool for a young family.Location, surroundings, movie theater across the street, easy access to sites, awesome shopping close...I will be back! Our room was not cleaned during our stay & not sure why. The continental breakfast was the same breakfast served by many hotels that have a cheaper rate. The area is very nice around the hotel.

"Good weekend getaway with all the conveniences"
This hotel would be great for couple, family or friends, as it is in a natural area with winding roads and beautiful scenery. As well, it is set within walking distance from complete services: variety of restaurants, shopping and movie theater. And if you want downtown St. Louis, it's an easy 30-minutes away on using roads and MO highways. It wasn't as close as we would have liked to family for our overnight stay, but still was a clean, comfortable bed after a busy day,and a good hot shower with breakfast available to start in the morning.

"Okay, but we most likely will not go back."

Nice hotel, but the two main objects we stayed for, the bed and the shower, were in poor condition. Areas of the mattress were quite sunken and there was no water pressure in the shower.

"Great hotel, not near a lot"
This hotel was a great deal, that was very comfortable and had great staff. However, it is a bit far out from St Louis, and the little towns around it are small. If you are arriving late on a Sunday night, expect limited choices for food - but the desk will help you! Great service.

"Worth the money spent!!!!"
It was worth the price of our stay. The wildwood was resort luxury standards at an affordable price. I was delighted with the room. We had a standard king room. My husband enjoyed the hot breakfast. I did not eat due to food allergies. The staff was very informative and friendly. The pool and spa were being resurfaced. However that did not take away from the overall experience.

"Very nice hotel, one unexpected occurrence"
Overall, my wife and I had a great stay. They informed me that they'd be holding $50 on my card, which is expected, but I paid in cash at check-out and later discovered that they had also held the cost of the room in my card. My bank told me it was to be returned (5 days later), but it would've been nice to know they'd be holding the cost of the room as well as the"security deposit".

I did like the hotel. The only downfall was cleanliness. I went to make coffee and there was a filter from a previous guest. When I left my room the next morning, upon my return I found the housekeeper only straightened the bed and left fresh towels and soap. She did not clean the cups, iron, leave more coffee etc....

"Good nights sleep"
Beautiful hotel in safe, upscale area. The bed was a delight! Super comfy. One small drawback was no HD channels. Would definitely stay here again.

"First time staying there as a business traveler"
My normal hotel was booked, so thought I would give the Wildwood a try. I have to say that I wasn't sure what to expect-the pics almost made it look too good. But it was as good as promised, and then some! Very clean rooms that were comfortable and well-appointed. Incredibly friendly staff and a good location. I will stay there again and have recommended it to several other frequent StL travelers already!
