Arrived way way late, was pleased to see the hotel staff had left the key in a lockbox, went to my room on the top floor, large, nicely prepared, skylights on the city. Superb price-performance!

I have been going to this hotel during the Frankfurt Book Fair for 3 years now. Everything is "fair" about Villa Diana, but if you are looking for an inexpensive room in a quiet neighborhood close to the Hauptbahnhof, it's a good choice. Clean room.

The room and bathroon were clean and OK. There is no lobby and there is no elevator (lift). If you are on the 3rd or 4th floor its quite a climb with luggage. There are no bellhops There is someone at the front desk from 7AM-9PM. After 9PM you need to let yourself into the hotel. The lobby, if you want to call it that, is dingy.

Since the voucher did not arrive at the Hotel, I was not expected and there was no record to be found of my reservation. This made arrivng unpleasant. The receptionist consequently was unfriendly at first (later changed) which did not give a good first impression. The rooms for single occupancy are small but sufficient, the showers aren't. The are really […] small. I am slender so it worked but for bigger clients it might not. Noise from neighboring rooms carries over. We had two rooms. The hotel is in a great neighborhood if its a quick stay. For us it was a one night prior to flying out. The beds are small but OK. The showers were all bad. No A/C and no elevator to the 4th floor. They claim the best breakfast in Frankfurt? Not so sure about that one. Its a nice place for the money.

Just the essentials, no tea or coffee making kit, etc. I had the pent house suite on the 5th floor, no lift but the exercise did me no harm and the Velux windows let in plenty of light and fresh air. This hotel has a strange system of key deposit box almost like self-service hotel for late check-in guests as there is no one at the reception between 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. They did not leave any key for me and I could not stay in this hotel first night (they send me to a self-catering type appartment at their cost).

The Location of this hotel is great set on a quiet road 2 blocks from the main road! Fantastic for the Messe. Rooms are very small but everything I needed was there including a really good breakfast. Walking distance to the city centre, plenty of good restaurants, the central train station and the Messe.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Putzpersonal wirklich vorbildhaft. An der Rezeption ist man hilfsbereit, allerdings nur bis 21:00 verfügbar. Im Hotel gibt es soweit alles, was man sich von einem Hotel wünscht, wenn man allerdings etwas einkaufen möchte ist man doch etwas weiter weg, jedoch dauert es zu Fuß maximal 15 Minuten bis man an einem brauchbaren […] Ort angekommen ist (Alte Oper). Redelijk. Kamer erg eenvoudig ingericht, wel schoon. Geen vertier in het hotel zelf, dus dat moet je buiten het hotel zoeken. Alleen Duitse zenders op een ouderwetse TV. (Zit)douchen in het bad, staande douchen kan helaas niet. Ontbijt erg eenvoudig in een koude kelder. Wij zaten op de 4-de etage geen lift aanwezig.

Die Bilder im Internet sind nicht um den realen Zustand des Hotels, die Toilette hatte eine starke schlechten Geruch von Schimmel mit mehreren schwarzen Flecken, wurde der Raum mit sehr alten Möbeln möbliert, Ich habe 2 Nacht gebucht aber nur eine da geschlafen..nie wieder ..

Hatte schon mehrere Aufenthalte in diesem Hotel. Doch leider mit schwankender Qualität. Unterschiedliche Zimmer mal sauber mal schmutzig mit flecken im Teppichboden und altem Mobilar. Leider gibt es kein Qualitätsmanagment bei Fair Hotels. Hierzu gehört auch der schlechte und unfreundliche Service, wohl alles Aushilfskräfte. Dieses Hotel hat meineserachtens, keineswegs die unerklärlichen 3* verdient! Es ist sauber aber total verwohnt und alt. Das Personal ist sehr freunlich und nett. Ein Frühstück - reichhaltig, vielseitig - aber sehr einfach (aus der Packung vom Discounter?!?) - krümelige (aufgebackene? Brötchen vom Vortag!?)! und mit dem geforderten Preis mehr als grosszügig […] bezahlt! Leider kann ich dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.Es ist zwar gut gelegen im Westend, allerding ist das Frühstück nicht gut gewesen und es hat sogar in mein Zimmer extrem herein geregnet. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass fast alle meine Anziehsachen nass waren. So etwas darf in keinem Hotel passieren, egal wie viele Sterne es hat! Katastrophe!
