"Place to spend night after dinner"
We were late arriving for dinner reservation in Yountville and desk took quick care of us. Thanks to her we were not too late. Bed was comfy, room well appointed, whimsical, Breakfast was delicious. We decided location, style and comfort made it our Napa place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
Never having traveled to Yountville before, I was a little lost on what hotel/B&B to book. At the time, I chose Maison Fleurie as it seemed a little more economical. I figured I could forego luxury to save some money as we were dining at French Laundry on this trip. Maison Fleurie was a very pleasant surprise, and at no time did I feel like I was going […] the budget route. The inn is absolutely adorable, and again, I was pleasantly surprised at what a large room we had. The fireplace came in handy on the rainy evening, and there were so many cute little touches to our room (i.e. that hand painted mural). The location can’t be beat, but since it’s off the main street, there was little noise. I’d read other reviews complaining about the street traffic. Well let me tell you, our room was right next to the street, right by the front desk and near the breakfast area. We were not bothered by any noise whatsoever. I would definitely stay here again. "close to good restaurants"
Room was large but sort of shabby. There were large stains on the sheets. We called the desk clerk who came up to the room and changed the sheets. When we got to breakfast there was no coffee, no coffee cups, eggs or muffins. We had to find the desk clerk who had to find someone in the kitchen to replenish the coffee, eggs, cups, etc. The clerk also […] muttered under her breath that "someone is not paying attention." Delightful, professional, helpful & well-informed staff. Very good full hot breakfast. Nice early evening snacks & wine. Yountville is a very convenient & centralized place to stay for wine country activities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in wine country"
The Inn was lovely! Our room was very comfortable, as was the common areas. I loved the french country warmth it exuded. The 'happy hour' and breakfast were good, nothing exceptional. We were disappointed that the other guests were not as outgoing as we have experienced at other Inns. Other B & B's we've stayed at had an Inn representative at breakfast […] or 'tea', encouraging conversations amongst the guests and sharing activities and news about the area Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location in Nappa Valley"
We enjoyed this quaint bed and breakfast. This was a great experience for us since it was our first time to stay somewhere else besides a hotel. What an awesome town too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall, excellent hotel, excellent location.Only small complaint was that our breakfast quiche was not very good, in fact it was terrible on our first morning. The quiche on the second day was much better. Would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved my room and the staff were terrific. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The place has amazing charm and character - can't wait to return!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice country inn"
Quiet, warm, comfortable inn in the middle of Yountville (perfect location)Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel with good service and great breakfast. Room was cold and heater was loud and hard to regulate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy and not very private"
Beds squeak so loud, they woke me in the middle of the night. Great location and service. Noise level unfortunately outweighs these.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent mattresses please!"
I knew when we made the reservation that our room would be small. What I wasn't expecting was a extremely creaky bed that squealed like a stuck pig every time we turned over, but worse of all sagged severely. The pillows had seen their best days in the 90s. The shower was the size of a coffin. Needless to say we will not be back,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"B and B in Yountville"
Hotel and staff were very pleasant. The bed, however, was lumpy, creaky, and sadly uncomfortable. Shower was miniscule with very low water flow.Genuine Expedia guest review
We really enjoyed the hotel. It was a great experience. We were there in a down season so we had our floor to ourselves so it was really nice and quiet, not sure how it might be with a full house. A little chilly on cold mornings. Temperature was not controllable from each room. Everything was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We have been to Napa many times and stayed in many different hotels. Maison Fleurie was charming. Room was lovely with gas fireplace, service was helpful, breakfast was good. There are a lot of overpriced options in Napa or some of the chains, but this was an excellent choice for those who want to spend less than the "spa-type" places but avoid the […] chains. And, best of all, it's within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants in Yountville. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to French Laundry"
Bathroom very tiny. Sink was outside of bathroom in the room with the bed. Walls are so thin you could hear the people in next room talking, love making, music, etc. We stayed in the main house. Maybe the rooms over the pool area are different. I would never stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This place was beautiful, and the staff were really helpful and nice. This place is it... Don't look further!! :) we loved every minute of our stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Maison de Fleurie a quaint stop for couples."
Over all the stay was very pleasant. The first night the room was a bit warm and the controllers are centeraly located in the desk area. The rooms have no refrigerators but the staff will place items in the main kitchen walk-in. The TV was on the small side with the upper part of the picture being cut off. The location was great, a few short steps from […] Bottega (Michael Chiarrilo) and Bouchon (Thomas Keller of the French Laundry). The shops are nice and the eateries fabulous. "romantic classic in downtown Yountville"
This 1870's stone classic is a great getaway in the center of little Yountville. The Queen bed rooms are small, but our King bed suite was very roomy, and with a great view with two balconies. The only negative was the "Sutter Home" bulk wine served at happy hour, along with great local cheeses. What an injury to an otherwise perfect stay. Highly […] recommended for lovers and oenophiles. "Little gem in Yountville"
My only small gripes with this hotel was the non-availability of reception services outside of core hours and the late time that breakfast started. Everything else was great. It's a little gem in a perfect location and far more appropriately priced than exorbitant hotels in the town.Genuine Expedia guest review
"over price and not enough hot water"
Over price and NOT enough hot water. The last thing you want when you take a shower is not enough hot water. Room is clean but I rather pay a cheap motel to enjoy a hot shower.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Maison Fleurie Yountville"
The location is excellent. We had the carriage room with a queen bed. The room was fairly small, but adequate. We prefer a king bed, but the room was too small to accommodate a kind. The room could use an update and less clutter. The bath was nice although the addition of a magnifying mirror would be nice. It was very quiet and the staff was very nice. […] It is easy walking distance to all of Yountville which is a real plus for enjoying the fabulous restaurants and wine. We would return because of the convenience, but try for a king room. Price was fair. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was our first experience at this hotel and weren't sure what to expect. Overall, we were pleased but were put off by the loose faucetts and cabinet door that fell off. "Best place to stay in Napa Valley!!!"
Seriously the best place to stay in Napa valley. If you're like me and are looking for that perfect bed and breakfast ... Look no further. This is it! They have a cute main house where they serve a great, warm breakfast and a fun happy hour with appetizers (cheese, bread, olives) and wine. The rooms are gorgeous! You don't even wanna leave the place. […] Totally recommend going with the fireplace. We even had a jacuzzi right in our bathroom which we got to utilize. The area is also gorgeous! The best restaurants in the world. Walking distance from two of Thomas Keller restaurants including The French laundry. Maison Fleurie even had complimentary bikes for rental. We got to ride around the entire town of Yountville! Absolutely gorgeous! A must stay. A great bang for the buck! I can't honestly think of anythig bad to say about it. "Very nice - will be back."
This is a quaint bed and breakfast in the very nice town of Yountville. The inn is conveniently located next to shopping and 5-star restaurants. It backs up to the Bouchon Bakery so expect to wake up to the aroma of pastries. Good stuff.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Pleasant and convenient B & B with some glitches"
07/30/14 Richard M Palo Alto, California
I stayed at Maison Fleurie for one night as I had dinner reservations at the French Laundry. The glitch was that I was arriving after 8 PM. I called ahead and was told a key would be left in a lock box. I arrived, found and opened the lock box but no key was inside and indeed the building was locked. I called the after hours answering service and someone let me in and gave me my key after about 25 minutes of my arrival. However, once situated I found my room well appointed and comfortable. My only other complaint, a relatively minor one but one which may show some lack of attention to detail, was that my toilet seat would not stay up. The breakfast area has a table for about 8 people, some couches with a coffee table and some small tables for 2. The breakfast was buffet style and had the usual cereals, breads, some fruit, hard boiled eggs, a frittata like dish that was quite good, fruit juices and coffee or tea. It is conveniently located to the essentially all of the small village of Yountville with its, restaurants and some nice shops.
"Best value in Yountville"
07/24/14 David A Rocklin, California
We stayed at Maison Fleurie in June and had a very enjoyable stay. It's a charming french inspired bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown, so it's about a 5 min walk to everything. They seemed to have enough parking to accommodate their guests in their dirt parking lot, but there is street parking as well. When you walk in there is a seating area to your left and their dining area is to your right with the main desk straight ahead. The dining room had plenty of seating with a communal table, coffee table with couches and three cocktail sized tables with two chairs each. The breakfast was good as was the evening reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres. There is a main building and two others. We were in the main building and stayed in a petite queen room. There looked to be 4 of them on the second level. The room was small as the description says, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs and was nicely decorated. The sink is in the room as noted and is right by the front door. The bathroom was tight with a very small shower and toilet. My only complaint is that you can hear everything in the surrounding rooms, so try not to be too loud. That alone might sway me to stay in a different room next time. On the second level was also a rooftop deck with a couple tables and plenty of outdoor lounge seating. We enjoyed sitting here and relaxing. There is also an out door hot tub, which was plenty big and nice to use in the evening. We also swam in their swimming pool one afternoon and were the only ones there. A lot of it is shaded with trees. The two other buildings have rooms that face the pool with one of the buildings looking to contain only one room. I believe it was the Carriage House Building, so if you're looking for the most privacy, that would be the room to get. Overall, I would recommend this inn to anyone who is looking for a great location with nice accommodations and who doesn't want to spend $400+ that you would likely pay at most of the other inns in Yountville.
"Cozy French Country Inn"

Been wanting to get here for a long time. You'll love the old vintage atmosphere. We love the appeal of these classic buildings and their history. Nice stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free wireless. Pool and Hot Tub relaxing. Property is located right in the middle of everything. All walking distance. We had one of the four Queen Petite Rooms and non of those four have a television. Not a real deal breaker for the next time. We would just get one of the other nine rooms. Ours was a nice room. Modern bath. Brick and stone interior walls. Talked to the girl and she said there was no way to get the wiring to those rooms. Had the Kindle so we watched that for a couple hours at night. Breakfast was very nice every morning. Buffet style. Tee time was from 5pm - 6:30pm where they had free wine, cheeses, breads and fruit. Nice stay.

We loved the location - walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The evening wine reception was a fun time to get to know the other guests, and breakfast was very nice. In a little town where most everything is over $300 a night, this is a great choice for a very charming budget inn. Next time I would go for a bigger room - they don't call them petite for no reason - they are really, really small, but we anticipated that would be the case, so it wasn't a problem.
"Location + price = wonderful"
07/16/14 Shannahan Minneapolis, Minnesota
I was traveling with my sister and we chose the smallest room on the property. We were in Yountville for the food and proximity to vineyards. Our room, albeit small, was lovely. We found our air conditioner worked great and the size of the room was fine since we were only sleeping in the room. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast before we set out on a day of tastings. We did not use the pool or hot tub. Cleanliness in the main area could be better. There seemed to be some dingy pieces of furniture.
"Cute but small, hot"
07/02/14 Megan O Atlanta, GA
Maison Fleurie is absolutely a great deal for Yountville, and is a very charming B&B. Breakfast was delicious. However, if you want the good price, be prepared to squeeze - our room was TINY! Barely enough room to turn around (they do warn you about the size in the room description, so take those to heart if you book!) The location is very convenient - we were able to walk to dinner at ad hoc and some of the tasting rooms downtown. My main issues, other than the size, was the outdoor light/noise and the temperature. Our window looked out on some VERY bright lights that never went off, and the blinds didn't do a great job of blocking it. There was some street noise that seemed loud because we had the window open. The reason the window was open was because it was INCREDIBLY HOT in our room. No overhead fan, no thermostat. We really couldn't sleep well because of the heat, and it certainly didn't put us in the mood to cuddle on our anniversary trip!
"Great place and great value in Yountville!"
My girlfriend and I chose to stay in Yountville rather than other places in the Napa Valley due to it's convenient proximity to many of the wineries and restaurants we wished to visit. While certainly not cheap I settled on the Maison Fleurie because it is significant less expensive than most properties in the area and therefore had modest expectations. We were truly delighted with all aspects of our stay. The property was beautiful. Our room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. The staff were helpful throughout our visit. The pool was lovely and the communal terrance on the second floor was a bonus. The breakfast each day was great and included gourmet egg creations, fruit, bread and pastries (by no means a cheap continental breakfast). We also took advantage of the complimentary bikes which were a great way to get around the area and saved us money by avoiding a rental. We were said to leave and hope to visit again on our next trip to the area!

Amid larger, more "upscale" and distinctly more expensive lodging in Yountville - Maison Fleurie is a virtual gem. Yountville has become the epitome of Napa Valley charm and Maison Fleurie is situated perfectly in the heart of this quintessentially chic town that is itself in the heart of Napa Valley. Literally in the shadow of the Bouchon Bistro and the Bouchon Bakery - this gem offers small comfortable rooms, a pleasant low-key staff and a hearty, wholesome, tasty breakfast. As always The Four Sisters Inn Group delivers subdued charm and value amidst high-end and high-cost chic.
"Peace and Quiet"
05/28/14 MelissaFail Martinez, California
We stayed at Maison Fleurie for a 40th birthday celebration. It was the first time at a Sister Inn, and the experience was amazing. From the charming room with homey touches of real books on a shelf, to the old fashioned armoire that had robes in it. The grounds were beautiful to walk around and relax, with a roof top patio to enjoy the surrounding vineyard views. Each evening they had wine and appetizers, and each morning a full breakfast. Always out and fresh was coffee, flavored water and cookies. If so inclined, the inn has bikes for you to use while staying there, but really EVERYTHING in town is walking distance, so we didn't use the bikes. I would definitely stay there again...or even try another of the Sisters Inn properties.
"Lovely Honeymoon Stay"
04/16/14 unnecessarye Washington DC, District of Columbia
We stayed here in late March 2014 for a portion of our NorCal honeymoon. We stayed in the carriage house, facing the pool. The room was great; we really enjoyed the fire place, the big tub, and the in-room Keurig for our 4-am-pacific-time-we're-from-the-east-coast coffee needs. The shower head had a little mildew on it that I easily wiped off myself, which is why this doesn't get a five-star rating. The staff were lovely. The breakfasts were good as well. We're vegetarians, so it was nice that the meat was never cooked in to the dishes. The location was IDEAL, which is why we chose this spot in the first place. If you are bothered by noise, you may want to think twice, because Bouchon restaurant and bakery folks nearby can be a touch on the noisy side. It didn't bother us at all as we live in the city (and were up rather early anyway).
