Do not stay!!! No air conditionate, no staff at all, you have to go to another address to pick up the keys!!!! horrible service. Will recomend Lancaster Gate Hotel, we move there when we meet this Welby - Horrible "hotel" this is not a hotel

We checked into the hotel at one location, then had to pay for a taxi to where we were actually staying. When you walk through the front door you're hit with a putrid odor (something like mold and rotting flesh) so we kept our windows open for the duration. After climbing up 4 flights with our luggage, we tried to rest but the whir of the mini freezer […] took alot of getting used to (we finally unplugged it altogether). when we went to freshen up, we noticed the sink did not drain. We left a note about it as there was no phone in the hotel, but it was never fixed. They don't have daily maid service. The nearest pay phone was nearly a block away (the one outside the hotel had the phone ripped out). One morning we walked to the train and hopped over a dead rodent. A bare bones hotel. I've stayed at many hotels through years of travel. This one is at the bottom of the list. First, no phone anywhere in the hotel. The pay phone outside had no phone in the booth. The hotel smells rancid. The water was only working intermittently on our final day. There's no on-site management. Our sink was clogged and no one came […] to fix it. We had to check in at a different location then paid for a taxi to where we were actually staying. The office did not open in the AM until after we checked out and there was no drop box for the key. Did not know that we had to check in at another building down the street. Tired, snowing, had to find number, then find office afer 12 hr flight, train ride from LHR, underground, and walk. No soap, towels, toilet paper, shampoo. Poorly maintained. Clearly had been a long term rental. Backyard is a mess. Very worn carpet, some broken fixtures, very […] old furniture and folding chairs. Childs stickers on bathroom walls, refrigerator, mirrors, etc. Beds not made up. Didn't answer the phone on Sunday. The price is only slightly lower and not worth the lack of amenities. We enjoyed our two-night stay and found our accommodations to be especially comfortable and pleasant. Although we had booked at Welby 20, we were upgraded to another house owned by the company several blocks away on Fellows Road, and actually had a roomy and newly renovated flat there. The couple traveling with us had a nice efficiency room at the same […] place which they were also pleased with. The staff, and Daniel especially, were very helpful and even let us leave our luggage in the room for an extra two hours after the usual checkout time so that we could explore Camden town before leaving for our late afternoon flight home. Hotel rooms in London are usually small and generally expensive, but our accommodations were roomy, modern, and a great value. The renovation of the stairs and hallways was obviously incomplete but ongoing, and the entire place should be very nice when finished. We did have quite a walk from the rental office at Welby 37, but once we were at this house, we were an easy 10-15 minute walk from the nearest tube and shops, and a 5 minute walk from a nice little cafe. The property was in a quiet and attractive residential neighborhood, and there was a coin-operated washer and dryer on premises. The rooms had a stove, refrigerator, sink, dishes, and table and chairs, so we were able to fix breakfast and have cold drinks and snacks on hand--very convenient and economical. Read more

The appartments were clean, although they were a little bit oldfashioned. The office was not open at any time during the day and this may cause problems in checking in and off. It doesn't offer any breakfast. I think that it is a good place to spend lots of time in london without spending too much.

Good overall experience. Located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, close to the Underground station. A number of restaurants and a supermarket is nearby. Manager is straightforward, if you want to stay an extra day, it can be arranged. Most of the property are long term rentals appartments style rooms with cooking stove and fridge, and if you […] require room cleaning, need to ask the manager in advance. If you arrive on Sunday or late Saturday (after 6pm), the office may be closed. Just remember to check in at the Belsize Avenue address, where the office is located. For the price, it is a good value for London. Be sure to check out the colorful Camden Market, which is only 2 tube stops south. Read more

Helt ok, for meget enkel overnatting. Men prisen var ekstrem høy for så lav standard. Bilder og virkeligheten på det rommet vi fikk stemte ikke! Alle rom skulle ha balkong men ikke våres...... Vi er mye ute og reiser, ca 15 private turer i året men dette er det dårligste vi har sett. Men hyggelig service via telefon og kurant parkering i gatene, Rommet […] var rent og badet ok, plus for kjøleskap og hybelkomfyr. ロンドンに２週間ほど英語研修のために利用しました。写真で見るときれいですが、ビクトリア調の建物は年期が入っており、もちろん階段で上り下りするしかありません。ギシギシとものすごい音がしますが、これはご愛敬。部屋に入って、まず買い出ししなければならないと感じたのは、洗剤とスポンジ、そしてトイレットペーパーです。アメニティは小さな石けん２個と予備のバスタオルのみです。また滞在中に１回のルームクリーニングがあるとのことでしたが、１度もお掃除は来ませんでしたね。またレンジがないのと電熱線のコンロなので、自炊するには不便です。ドアの横にベッドがあったので、他の部屋の人の出入りがものすごくうるさく感じました。近くにビレッジがあったので、サンドイッチをテイクアウトしてもらって食べてたりしました。まぁ、シャワ […] ーはちゃんとお湯が出たので、ヨシとしなきゃぁ～というレベルです。はっきり言って、お値段のわりには残念な内容でした。 Read more

Das Hotel liegt zwar sehr zentral, aber leider ist das Zimmer, welches einem zugewiesen wird, nicht das selbe wie auf den Bildern. Die Küche wollten wir nicht wirklich benutzen und haben es auch nur einmal gemacht. Fraglich ist, ob es schön ist, sein besteck in einer Reihe aufgereiht liegen zu haben, sah etwas eklig aus... Für ein paar Tage- zu diesem […] Preis- ist es sehr empfehlenswert. Wer gerne Essen geht findet auch ein Paar Restaurants in der Nähe und die Haltestellen sind wirklich schnell zu erreichen... Vom Hotelpersonal jedoch haben wir niemanden angetroffen, was auch nicht schlimm war denn die Schlüssel und eine kleine Umgebungskarte waren im Zimmer. Man kann gut Einkaufen gehen, für diejenigen, die doch Kochen wollen. Mitnehmen sollte man: Spüli, Trockentücher, Hausschuhe, Toilettenpapier, Ersatzhandtücher... Wertgegenständen haben wir immer bei uns gehabt, weil die Tür nicht wirklich sicher und stabil aussah, also lieber vor dem Urlaub überlegen ob der Laptop benötigt wird. Read more

Direkter Kontakt zum Stadtzentrum mit U-Bahn und Bus. Noch in der Tourizone 2 (Travelcardgebiet!) Nette, hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Allerdings auch hellhörige Wände (bei uns mit nachtaktiven Nachbarn) einfache aber hinreichende Ausstattung. Für den Preis gerne wieder!

J'ai été très satisfaite de l'hôtel, tant en ce qui concerne le confort, que la propreté de la chambre. L'hôtel est à 5min à pied de la station Belsize Park, à deux stations du Camden Market et à 5 stations de la gare de King's Cross St. Pancras. Il est situé dans un quartier calme. Il y a pas mal de commerces et de petits restaurants dans le coin, […] ce qui est pratique. Seuls bémols: la douche fixée au mur et les fenêtres qui ne sont pas du double vitrage (mais comme c'est un quartier calme, ce n'est pas très gênant..) Serviettes de bain et papier toilette fournis.
