We only stayed one night but the accommodations were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and had a fine variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would likely stay again. It is well within range of any place you might like to see in austin

Well besides the room actually being pretty acceptable, the outside noises were not so. And by outside I mean the hallway. More specifically the ice machine that made ice ALL night long!! From about 3:30am to about 7am, I laid there and listened to the not so somber sounds of ice falling and what sounded like being rolled around in a bucket.

Our stay was good. we had a volleyball tournament in kyle. My mom traveled with us. We had a two queen bed with a sleeper sofa. The beds were great but the sleeper was not very comfortable. We also needed more towles and blankets but the front desk was out. The stay was good.

The hotel was just ok. Nothing special and I've absolutely stayed at nicer hotels. Our a/c went started going out around 1:00 in the morning. The unit growled so loud the entire night. I'm sure if I would have called the front desk they would have given us another room but when I realized it wasn't going to quiet down and the room was getting warmer […] the rest of my family was asleep and I didnt want to pack all our stuff up and move at 2:00 in the morning. The breakfast was terrible. The eggs wereflat powdered eggs with sliced processed cheese in the middle. The sausage was ment to be cooked ona vriddle but was microwaved so the color was grey and very unappetizing. I will definitely NOT be staying in a Holiday Inn Express. Ever! Read more

Pros: We came for Formula One weekend, because of this event the price was outrageous, but that a given. The room was really clean inside and out. The climate control was excellent, the curtains blocked the outside lights completely. The bath tub was clean and no problem with running hot water. I have nothing negative to say about cleanliness, not a […] sign of someone's hair anywhere. Breakfast was continental, nothing bad or good about that, it's just continental. The pool was very clean and warmed for an early swim. Plenty of parking and even enough for RV's behind the building. It's near a Walmart that is open 24 hrs if you come in late and everyone is closed. Restaurants are everywhere and easy to find. The cons: Slow elevator operation, slow flat screen operation and could easily miss it without a gps. The traffic lights along the vicinity operate in a very long cycle and not first come first seved. Read more

I'm not terribly hard to please when it comes to hotels. Usually if you stay at a Holiday Inn Express, there is a minimum level of service that comes with the name. This hotel failed in many categories, and isn't worth the price that the HI name promises. First, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew. Second, we were there for 3 nights and […] our room was never cleaned. Ever. Every day we returned to find that housekeeping hadn't been there, no new towels, nothing. That seems like the bare minimum for a hotel, but this hotel failed at even that. Then there is a long tail of smaller problems, such as the safe in the room being broken, the ironing board being covered with something gross enough that I had to put a towel over it to iron my shirt, the incredibly loud air conditioning unit being located directly next to our ground floor window, and the alarm clock having some sort of electrical short that caused it to make small buzzing/radio noises sporadically despite being 'off' (I finally unplugged it for fear of being burned alive in my sleep). And finally, the hotel is about 15 minutes from Austin on a heavily trafficked road and in an ugly little nowhere area with nothing nearby except a starbucks. Overall, we could have chosen another hotel for the same price, and should have. Read more

It was a hit or miss thing with the internet, Mostly miss. I could connect to the hotel, but the hotel was not connected to their provider most of the time, so it was hard to get my work done and get my next assignment. Had to leave before I had my next hotel reserved.

Overall, our stay was fine, but there really needs signage for the entrance. We missed the entrance and had to turn around. I watched 3 different vehicles come up the back side of the hotel on Sat. morning and then turn around. All 3 vehicles were in the parking lot in front of the hotel when we checked out. The first day we got to the hotel the little front desk lady was very nice. the room was just what i had expected, omg the pool was a mess it had nasty looking green water. they said it was safe to swim in but we never did. the breakfast could've been better. and the second night of our stay the same lady at the front desk was like a diffrent person […] her whole attitude was way off just nasty. called her to ask if the maid had changed the sheets because there was a stain on the top and bottom sheet and she offered to give me new ones for me to change. I love this hotel. Everything is new. Not sure when it was done but I'm glad i choose this one. Very comfortable beds. They even have soft and firm pillows. Room has a fridge and small microwave which usually most other hotels dont have. This hotel is right by the freeway so its easy to find. I slept like a baby that night. Enough said. Very quiet.

We were pleasently surprised with our stay. The comfort of the beds and pillows was luxury quality - we especially liked the labled pillow cases for "firm" and "soft" pillows to choose from. The room was and spacious and the complimentary breakfast was ample. I felt the price was a bit high, but since we traveled during the prime summer season, the […] prices were going to be high either way. I will say that I absolutely found the best value for my dollar at this establishment. There were nearby hotels that looked downright scary and cost a good $50 more than what we spent at The Holiday Inn Express in Budah. I will absolutely go again - great room, good breakfast, great service, great amenities and a close location to the Prime Outlet Mall in San Marcus. Read more
