I would say it was very convenient since I was visiting K-Town. It is very difficult to rate the service as we checked in 1am and stayed only one night. Stayed here two nights as I was going to a concert at the wilstern. From the terrible reviews I read on this hotel, I thought it was going to be horrendous. Yes it could do with refurbishment and the staff are not particularly friendly or helpful, but the room was clean and adequate. Location was perfect. Best sushi restaurant one block away.

Stayed for 1 night on the way to Vegas. Upon waking up in the morning, hot water was not present for showe. Called frnt dsk and informed them there was no hot water at 6:15 am. He said he will call me back. After 15 minutes without a call back i called down and he immediately told me that there will be hot water in 50 minutes to an hour. After 1 hour […] i tried again and still no hot water. Gave up since i had to leave by 9, i took a real quick cold shower. This really woke me up since i am still tired from not being able to sleep well due to an AC fan that sounds like sleeping next to a generator. I picked this hotel based on location and they had valet parking (in Metro LA). I was on business and didn't want to hassle w driving and parking downtown to visit clients. I knew it was an older property but didnt think it'd be THIS lacking. Rude staff. Both restaurants closed (although front desk said they were open when I checked in) Door handles […] and elevator buttons were so dirty. The floor in my room felt so gross I couldn't walk in there without shoes on. Couldn't get hot water in the shower (warm at best). Was not given any assistance with their "free wifi anywhere on property" - despite a couple requests. Amenities were non existent (1 bar of soap---no shampoo even). Just not the level or quality I expected based on the website... I wasn't looking for or expecting luxury... But this was a disappointment. Read more

Perfect hotel if you're looking to be in or stay around Koreatown. Good service, convenient location, good neighborhood if you're looking for other services, slightly more urban environment. Hotel just a little old/dated but otherwise well maintained. Very spacious.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed for last 20 years. The heating fan was too noisy to sleep, the restroom had hairs all over the floor when we entered, and my car was scratched by valuet parking guy when I checked out.

Near Korea Town in LA so it is near enough to Downtown LA and Hollywood, etc. They cater to Asian clientele. Old hotel but clean. Good beds, basic rooms not decorated. Underground parking which is very convenient.

I saw many Korean business guys when I drop off my family there so that gave me a good feeling about the hotel. Clean and good space for the money. Had to ask for 3 different irons and never really got one that worked well. The first on leaked badly, the second had blue burnt on the bottom of the iron and the third leaked some. Arrived at 11:30am and they did now allow check-in until 12:30pm. if you have to be somewhere before 12:30, don't count on checking in in time. Valet parking for guest was hassle free and prompt. Hotel lobby looks well kept. Room is decent but AC unit is loud.

This place was clean and the folks at the lobby were courteous. They offer free valet which is great for this location. Nothing fancy but clean. For the price, we were more than satisfied and would not hesitate to return in the future. We would have rated it a 4 "good, not great" based on overall satisfaction minus noise (we could hear doors slamming […] across the hall and had a stubborn TV/remote. There is also a lack of amenities such as in-room iron, coffee maker and complimentary bottled water, but at this price point it isn't a big deal. We docked a star for some service issues. The internet was down the duration of our stay and the concierge did not offer any further explanation or help. When I arrived at the hotel the man at the front desk spoke limited english. The hotel was very quiet and I suspected my wife and I were the only guests in the entire place, not a good sign. I booked two hotel rooms. Although my room was fine, run down but fine, my friends was not. Their room's air conditioner did not work for most of the night and when it finally did they could not turn it off and it was 60 degrees in the room. In the entrance of their room there was a water leak from the ceiling onto the tile floor that happened over […] night and when they awoke the next morning their floor was flooded. The taxi that the hotel booked us ripped us off. He charged $20 for a three minute taxi ride. The hotel was dated and the rooms were quite worn. The mattress & box spring were ripped at the bottom, there were sticky spots on the rug and the bathtub facet was leaking non-stop. Two things that were quite inconvenient were the lack of plugs in a normal/reachable location and wireless connection. The latter I paid for and it was not reliable at […] all. Went to LA for a convention at the Convention Center (LACC). This hotel was a convenient metro ride away (about 20 mins) from the LACC. Much, much cheaper than any of the hotels right near the convention site, but you get what you pay for. It's nothing fancy, but a good place to stay for a few nights in a fairly safe neighborhood. FYI - this hotel is in Koreatown and guests are predominantly Korean. The newspapers are in Korean and most of the surrounding restaurants are Korean.
