Nestled just outside the historic center of Martina Franca, this garden oasis from the heat and city make it an ideal place to stay, which we did for four nights. With ample free parking, the hotel is extremely convenient for exploring the surrounding towns of the Valle d'Itria such as Alberobello, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Ostuni by car. The hotel itself maintains an opulent charm from a slightly bygone era - the room while spacious and clean had an extremely dated bathroom with a whirlpool tub/shower combination but no shower curtain or partition. This resulted in copious amounts of water splashing about the floor. This combined with shoddy caulking around the tub left me with a dim view of the bathroom. The room furnishings were dated and tired. The room did include a nice veranda. The reception staff were brusque but efficient and acceptable. The waitstaff were very pleasant to deal with, and the morning breakfast buffet vast - excellent coffee. Your fellow patrons are mostly Italian businessmen, a few tourists and "the regulars". One gets the idea that many of the rather elderly patrons come back for a relaxing stay on a yearly basis and have been doing so for some time. Overall, the hotel is recommendable. Martina Franca itself is a splendid maze of an old town, and not to be missed. Try Piazetta Garibaldi for amazing food.

Excellent modern hotel with lovely contemporary interior design. Garden setting. Staff is very helpful and courteous. We definately would return. Private parking on grounds.

The hotel and grounds were lovely, but it was a bit hard to find, off the main road a few kilometers. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. The hotel staff was not particularly helpful or accommodating.

La nostra permanenza al Riva Marina Resort è iniziata il 17 luglio ed è terminata il 31 luglio. La camera assegnata era un po' distante dalla reception e quindi ai vari servizi del villaggio. Inizio con gli orari della colazione del pranzo e della cena. Per me troppo ristrette le fasce orarie, in particolar modo la cena. Se arrivavi dopo le 20.30 rischiavi […] di non mangiare. La spiaggia è la nota dolente; ci si arriva con un servizio navetta abbastanza efficiente, ma appena entri nella spiaggia vedi che il mare è pieno di posidonia. Per questo motivo sono stato costretto a trasferirmi con la mia famiglia in un lido poco distante "Pantanagianni" pagando ovviamente il servizio. Per l'animazione nulla da dire. Read more

Spiaggia piccolissima, ombrelloni quasi uno sopra all'altro, veramente pochi spazi, nessuna intimità ne tranquillità. Servizi in spiaggia Nessuno!!! Ristorante: Colazione dalle 7,30 alle 9,30, ma non sono in vacanza ??? Saltando la colazione nei bar all'interno del resort non vendono Brioche quindi colazione solo con caffè o cappuccio. Incredibile. Pranzo […] e cena a buffet, se non sei in pole position rischi di non trovare alcuni dei cibi preparati, sembra che nessuno fino a quel momento avesse mai mangiato. Pazzesco. Il Resort è comunque ben curato e pulito, pulizia anche all'interno delle camere. Collegamento ad Internet Wi-fi, c'è scritto gratuito... ma quando arrivi alla Reception per l'accesso ti dicono che è a pagamento. Una farsa. Read more
