"Barcelo Bavaro Deluxe Junior Suites - 2009 Spring Break"

We just returned from our stay at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Junior Deluxe Suites. If you are looking for a very relaxing vacation centered around laying in the sun at the beach or pool, this is a perfect hotel and location for you. If you are looking for great food, excellent service, a wide array of activities and exciting nightlife, you may want stay elsewhere. If you don't have a rudimentary understanding of Spanish, you will struggle to communicate with the majority of the resort staff. There is no waitstaff on the beach or at the pool. When you want a drink you must get it from the bar yourself.
