      This hotel absolutely can't be beat for the money. Hotel was clean, very well located, rock solid air conditioning in the rooms (a must!) and a nice big comfortable bed. The rooms were not huge but had a ton of character and were quite charming. The staff is friendly and most of them spoke decent english (although not always, which is pretty common in Cartagena). Don't expect to "lounge by the pool" though. The pool is more charm than function as the courtyard is quite small. The only negative was that breakfast was pretty mediocre... but hey for free I guess we can't complain. There's an excellent cafe called "Mila" a 2-minute walk away. If you're looking for a typical local place to stay that doesn't break the bank, Casia India is the place to be.

    Our room smelled very musty. Could not stand the smell. The young man at registration was very helpful and nice. But the other staff members were not very friendly. Will not stay there again.

    I loved the hotel - beautiful setting. The hotel was understaffed - receptionist was never at phone, my t.v. went out (but that was ok because I wasn't there to watch tv). This hotel was great. Bring mosquito repellant!
