We stayed for one night here, as we were driving south to Spain and wanted to avoid the centre for Lyon. Check in was smooth and efficient, lady at the desk was lovely. The main hotel building did smell really musty (reminded me of an old folks home!). Our room was in another building and was large and comfortable with lovely views over the Rhone. It was bright bright pink however, seemed really out of character with the rest of the building! We were recommended to go to On Dirait Le Sud in the town for dinner - and it really wasn't good. Beef tartare was literally raw mince, there didn't seem to be the option to have it sealed outside - so that was hard work for my partner. I had the volaille (chicken) -it was boiled with skin on and was so unappetising. So would try to get into the hotel restaurant if possible. Other than that, breakfast was in a lovely setting with unusual coffee pots!

Hotel was great for a 2*. Basic, clean and friendly staff. Easy to catch a bus into Lyon at low cost. Taxis more expensive. We were there for a wedding close by, so was ideal for us.
