Room was clean and service was good, but size is very small and a bit cramped. Location was convenient for shopping for food, but required taking shuttle or taxi to the subway station.

This style of room is the hip younger crowd who doesn't mind staying in smaller spaces. The room itself is mostly a large bed with a small tv and a not so private bathroom, so it best for the solo traveler. But it is clean and fits the bill for people who don't linger in a hotel all day. There will be traffic sounds and little battle with the climate […] control since it can get frigid or too hot when running a shower. But overall, it was a great place to stay since it was so close to the Olympic subway station and the huge mall inside it has a great food court. So it is a convenient, has a very local feel to it. And the staff was just great, always helpful, always trying to open doors, carry your luggage and assist whichever way they can. The free wifi in the lobby is great, but can get crowded. There is also a wait for the two elevators at times. But overall, it felt more comfy and convenient than the 4 and 5 star hotels I stayed at during this same trip. Could use a couple of more pillows. Don't really have any complaints but wonder if you can do better on the price. Room was fine, clean. Little bit small. Take advantage of the free hotel shuttle to the MTR airport express which we only discovered on the way out. Not very close to the stop but you can arrange for the pickup.

The Cosmo Hotel in Mong Kok is a nice hotel, As others report, the rooms are small! I was traveling alone, so this was not a problem. I did note that the bathroom was not the cleanest. I was disappointed that WIFI was not free. The hotel is also not in the best location in Hong Kong if your goal is sight seeing or shopping. This hotel is on par with the other Cosmo hotels and has a friendly and helpful staff in case you need anything. The MTR is a 5 minute walk away which is convienant and a quick ride into Kowloon or even heading to the airport or expo center.

The staff here are very nice. However, the rooms are rather small, even for HK standard. Also, they made my room despite the "do not disturb" sign was on. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price, but it could've been better. Also, the lobby needs more sitting area since so many people use the wifi there.

not helpful , waste my time to look for the shuttle bus at kowloon station. 30 mins ago I called their front desk check the location of shuttle but nobody knows that....hahaha and they called me back , however , when I found it and got there then someone called me back the shuttle just gone , I said now was 8:47 pm but he shouted at me now was 8:53 […] pm End up I paid the TAXI FEE but they will loose customer. SCHEDULE IS 8:50 PM Another thing , they only take care of the customer who speak english. The Cosmo at Mongkok is a Boutique hotel located in the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. The hotel houses a restaurant, lounge and fitness studio. In my visit, the staff was friendly and courteous. The concierge and the staff at the front desk were helpful and spoke English well. The room I stayed in was small but tall. It was adequate for its purposes, […] and most importantly, it was clean. The design of the room was efficient with the shower, toilet, and sink a couple feet from each other, and the bathroom itself was partitioned off from the rest of room by a tall glass screen that runs up to the ceiling. The room's insulation and combined with the droning of the AC was enough to drown out any unwanted noises from the street or loud neighbors. The room comes with amenities such as towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, safe, mini-fridge, and an international power adapter(which was nice), but no WIFI. As for the location, the hotel is located outside the bustling market streets of Kowloon. However, there are still plenty of foot traffic warranted by the residential shops and restaurants in the area. There are couple of 24/7 convenient stores and eatery within minute walking distant from the hotel. Like many places in Hong Kong, a MTR subway station is only minutes walk from the hotel, which is a great way to get around town. Very new and very small hotel. Tiny rooms. Not joking. Tiny! .... but clean, good staff and easy to get around Kowloon and HK. WiFi only in lobby. Easy and quick shuttle to airport (25 minutes). Would not recommend for more than singles and short stays. Good for quick trips and overnights before airport outbound trips.

Negatives: - Room on the small side. Not the smallest in HK, but they could have provided more efficient shelving to help you put your luggages. - Sloooooow elevators - Noisy neighbors. This hotel attracts mainland tourists who likes to keep yelling to each other between their rooms across the hallway, LATE into the night. - EXPENSIVE Internet fee. […] HK $150 per day, PLUS a 3% service fee. Hello?! - Long walk to the main line subway. 15 minutes walk to the other subway line (Olympic Station) but that means longer commute time and making connections, etc. - Shuttle bus is OK buy only once an hour. And it gets crowded sometimes. DO NOT COUNT on using the shuttle bus to go from the Kowloon MTR to the hotel if you have luggages. It is the last stop before the hotel and the bus is often filled already. - Location best for locals are people who are familiar with HK. Not a very touristy area with attractions, shops, etc. Lots of stores around but they are geared toward the locals. This could be a positive depending on what you want. - Hot water is insufficient during "rush hours" on days when the hotel is fully occupied. Stayed there for a week, and took about 3 cold / luke warm showers. this is the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Even motels have bigger rooms. The rooms are trendy and decorated but it is not big enough for your luggage to be on the ground a space to walk around it. Customer service is decent. It is close to convenient stores, McDonalds, and some local eateries.

It's a bit of a walk from the subway, but it turns out that the hotel has a free shuttle service than runs regularly to a few select spots (the subway being one of them). I stayed in Cosmo Hotel Mongkok this summer. I chose this hotel because it was advertised to be closed to the MTR stations. Actually, it takes about 15 min. to walk from the hotel to either Olympic or Mongkok MTR station. I won't call it convenient because it is not easy to find the way to the MTR station without a detailed map. When it rains, the travel […] time will be much longer. I wish the hotel would have shuttle buses to the Mongkok MTR every 30 mins than 1 hour. It is hard to take advantage of the hotel shuttle service. Overall, the hotel staff were professional. They answered all the questions I had for them: from laundry mat location to even where to make copies and print photos. They were very helpful in getting a taxi for our travel back to the HK airport. I like their timely response and services. The linen was clean. However, the carpet was not. I could clearly see the worn out dirt marks on the carpet. The single bed room I stayed in was small. The space is about 50% of a single bed room in HK hotels at the similar price level I stayed last year and this year. The complimentary internet speed was OK. The supermarkets, local restaurants and convenient stores across the hotel provide easy access to daily personal and food supplies. The bottled water provided by the hotel was sufficient. I had booked an apparent higher class of room with lounge access, after staying in their std rooms earlier. Surprisingly these rooms were equal in size and very small at a higher price. Staff at reception, cleanliness is decent, but the rooms are really too small to breathe. And the big shock came this time with the breakfast. The chefs at the egg station […] are so rude, you at times want to simply leave without eating, and i even did that once. You ask for egg white, they refuse... you ask for well done, they refuse... you ask for egg at 10 (official b/f time is till 10:30) and they reply "you are not my boss and i cannot keep waiting to server you". And if you ignore all this, they will throw the egg on your plate as it they are throwing garbage out the door! I would have still rated this hotel a 3.5 in all, but for the breakfast experience. Hotel was excellent. A bit pricy on the resterurant but excellent food. Only suggestion is the hotel needs to know more about the sites. They did not have information on the big bus tours and drivers did not know what the laser night lights at the harbor that goes on every night at 2000. Shuttle service a plus!
