The Convent Hotel is located on one of the main streets in Amsterdam and within easy walking distance to the Centraal Train station and Dam Square-so public transportation is a snap. The hotel is well kept and the staff is very friently. The one complaint about the staff is that they do not seem very knowledgeable about typical tourist activities in Amsterdam and we didn't find a concierge staff member to help with some of our questions. Our booking through hotels.com did not include the breakfast, which looked wonderful and was expensive, so we found a lovely little care within a block or two from the hotel for our breakfasts. Lots of tours seem to use the hotel, so the staff is very comfortable speaking in English with everyone.The entrance to the hotel faces the very busy street, but the rooms are all in the back of the hotel and are very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. I would suggest trying to get the breakfast included in the hotel price.

The hotel was clean, nice, the staff friendly and helpful, especially the Concierge. The location was great, within walking distance of many restaurants, and things to see in Amsterdam.

excellent location to the airport, service was excellent. Great to have a real "walk in" shower!

"The Hotel NH Musica - great customer service"
The customer service at this hotel was outstanding. The trip went horribly wrong for other reasons but the hotel was very supportive and kept my trip from being a complete disaster. The 30min free internet was very useful despite only being in the lobby area.
We did not eat in this hotel, But rooms are big equipped , and convenince. The staff was very kind and helpfull.

"Poor Customer Service; Not Pet Friendly"
If you value customer service, or you are traveling with a pet - Then this is NOT the hotel for you. The NH Musica is not pet friendly (they have extreme pet restrictions), and the management at the hotel is not accommodating. In addition, this hotel advertises that it is near the Van Gogh Museum and the Heineken Experience. That information is incorrect. […] The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the nearest tram stop. And then it is a 20 minute tram ride to the Van Gogh Museum and another 10 minute tram ride to the Heineken Experience. To get to the Central Station in Amsterdam (other major attractions) it takes nearly 30 minutes on the tram. Read more
"Good Hotel"
A good hotel aimed primarily at the business sector but convenient for leisure tourism given the nearness of the tram/metro system to the city centre. The rooms were comfortable and clean with coffee making facilties provided. The breakfast was quite expensive but the buffet had a good selection of hot and cold items, surprisingly including some oriental […] dishes. The tram/metro to central Amsterdam is an easy 15 minute walk away and there is secure underground car parking at the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. The deco looks great. The location/neighbourhood is good - close to a shopping centre. I like the fact that there's a mini-fridge in the room - adds to the convenience. The room is not the cleanest. I noticed the tissue paper underneath one of the bed side tables the first night and it wasn't picked up during our stay. The bed sheets were not changed […] during our 5-day stay. It's finicky to adjust the shower to the perfect temperature. The room is very dry at night. There is noise in the hallway in the middle of the night. The mattress is a bit too hard. Read more

"Het NH Musica"
We hebben voor dit hotel gekozen omdat we naar een feest in de RAI wilden. We vroegen of we nog een uurtje langer mochten blijven slapen op zondag, maar wat bleek, het was elke zondag lazy sunday! Dus uitchecken om vijf uur! Heerlijk! De rai was lopend eigenlijk net iets te ver weg (kwartier lopen, maar regen) dus met de taxi gegaan. "Muy bonito pero lejos"
Esta muy bonito el hotel todo increible pero el taxi de la estacion de trenes al hotel te cobra 40 euros y para llegar a los alrededores hay que tomar bus ese pasa enfrente o el trmvia a 15 min caminando asi que si les gusta caminar esta bien.

Gezien mijn grote tevredenheid nav mijn verblijf van afgelopen jaar, heb ik opnieuw geboekt in dit fraaie hotel, met oog voor detail. Heb opnieuw dezelfde positieve ervaring gehad, wat mij volgend jaar beslist laat terugkomen. Zeer mooi gedesignde kamers, fraai ogend restaurant met verrassende kaart (en wij Belgen zijn wel wat gewend!), zeer vriendelijke […] en persoonlijke service. 2 puntjes die het verhaal helemaal top zouden maken: - gratis wireless access op alle plaatsen - bij het inchecken zou de frontdesk je erop moeten attenderen dat vooraf reserveren voor het ontbijt leidt tot een kleine prijsreductie Proficiat aan het management en de ganse crew en tot volgend jaar! Goed hotel 4sterren, ontbijt was aan de prijzige kant 17,50 euro. Er staat wel een waterkoker met koffie en thee op de kamer. een glas wijn aan de bar ook vrij prijzig, maar je zit dan ook in een 4 sterren hotel.

Seriøst, dette er det "verste" 4 stjernes hotellet jeg har vært på. Vi sjekker inn, (hotell er forhåndsbetalt) og minibaren er tom. Fair enough, jeg ber om å få den fyllt opp, og de nekter. - de skal ha forskuddsbetaling. (selv om du ikke benytter deg av alt i minibaren) sånn starter det. Deretter, blir vi beskyldt for å røyke inne, noe vi aldri gjorde. […] SÅ, roomservice... altså, frossenpissa levert på rommet = 200 kr, 30 min venting og sure servitører. Merk: når du sier Hei, til en i resepsjonen får du et smil... (beste servicen de ga). mildt sagt, hotellet bærer preg av nytt design og funkis rom. "Aangename verrassing in Buitenveldert"
Voor ons was dit hotel een aangename verrassing. De buurt is misschien niet zo interessant maar de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding maakt dit zeker goed. Hotelli oli oikein miellyttävä, siisti ja moderni. Aamupalaa ei visiittimme aikana ottaneet, sillä hinta oli pöyristyttävä. Myöskin matka keskustaan oli aikamoinen. Hotelli sijaitsee jonkin tyyppisellä asuinalueella, jossa on myös paljon toimistorakennuksia. Ratikalla pääsi kaupunkiin helposti, mutta kävelymatka pysäkille oli melko pitkä.
