Very friendly owner and staff!! We were there for the Rattlesnake Rodeo and found our accommodations wonderful!! Bed was very comfortable! The owner... gave us a map and directions to several restaurants. We were treated like family!!! I consider this the best place to stay when you are in Opp or need a good night sleep on your trip to the beach since it is on the beach route!!! stayed in bets western motels ever since the first one was built in Texas. This hadthe smallest rooms, though ok, noroom trays, no toothpaste in room , cheap towels and when I talked to staff the shrugged it off. cofee was weak, breakfast area cramped.Still, best one in town, I had 4 rooms for familly. Great Hotel. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in with up-to-date decor, extremely comfortable bed, huge flat screen, large bathtub, and great continental breakfast. Staff is wonderful! By far the best hotel in the quaint little town of Opp, AL. Affordable and worth every penny.

This hotel may be the best in Opp. It's a tiny place. I reserved a room described as a handicap with 2 queen size beds and a pull out sofa. The bathroom had a wide door and some rails on the walls. Otherwise, it was NOT handicap suitable. It had a deep tub which a handicapped person could not use. The room had 2 FULL size beds instead of Queens and […] the pull-out sofa felt like sleeping on bedsprings. The room and bathroom were clean and there was plenty of hot water. I mentioned the bed sizes to the clerk as we were checking out and she just said "I don't know" We were going to a funeral and didn't need these problems and didn't have time to argue or complain to the manager.
