Before my trip I have done a good amount of reading reviews about hotels. A review must be useful :-), so: the hotel is close to transportation (subway) and is about 20-25 euros to get to Tegel airport, next to a great shopping street, a walk from RitterSport Welt. The room is small - I personally do not care, as I spent most of the day wondering around […] the city. Great location, helpful staff. I found the street facing room too noisy but they moved me to an inside room which was quiet. The inside rooms has the open bathroom, but I was staying alone so it didn't bother me. Would definitely recommend!

My favorite hotel in Germany! Hotel room and bathroom were clean, roomy, well-decorated. Nice to have free internet, elevators, convenient parking (19 Euros/day). Location was in walking distance (less than 20 minutes) to so many historical sites. Nice to have bank, dry cleaner, grocery store, bakery just around the corner.

Hotel is fairly standard, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Rooms are small and there is nothing special or exciting about the hotel in general. The biggest positive is the location, only 10 minute walk to some of the largest sites. If you are like us and just need a clean place to sleep and shower then this is a good place for you.

While the room was clean and newly renovated it was not furnished with a wardrope big enough to contain a suit without problems. while the very small wardrope had nice hangers, using them for the jacket made it impossible to close the wardrope's door, while the limited space didn't allow the jacket to be hung but it was compressed and crumpled at the […] bottom. With two suits the space was already exhausted - no space remainig for shirts; no shelf big enough to store falted shirts. No possibility at all in the room to hang a cloak. This is a fine hotel with reasonably priced breakfast. Even though it is on a busy street, it is very quiet--thanks to those windows. My only complaint is that my Ipad was not able to access the internet, a problem I did not have elsewhere. In addition, the staff did not seem terribly concerned about the issue.

Hotel was perfectly located close to everything. Staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Room was spacious and clean. There is onsite parking which is convenient although it cost 19 Euros a day.

We had a comfortable room because we upgraded to superior so that we had a seating area and the bathroom was separate. I would strongly recommend doing this. This hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, walking distance to many places of interest or an inexpensive ride by taxi. Only about 25 min from main airport. They offer breakfast for 12 Euros, which is a good deal, and the food was good, restaurant was clean. Room was very clean, the only negative was lack of room for luggage, we had to keep our suit […] cases on the floor, closed. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have just a little more space for luggage. On the other hand, this room was good size for a European hotel. This was a great location to see everything note worthy in Berlin. 5 min walk to check point charlie, 15 in walk to the stadtmitte and 2 min walk to the U-bahn. Not a big fan on the shower in the room and the toilet seperated. Very modern and loved the look and feel except for the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Everything about the hotel is perfect except there is no kettle in the room. After spending a day walking in the exceptionally cold and wet weather, it would be perfect to wind down in the evening with a hot drink in the room. Unfortunately it was not possible due to the lack of kettle in the room.
